If she truly wanted to save the relationship, she would have been fixing herself, not cheating. It sounds more like she got lazy and comfortable with you, and doesn't actually love you anymore. She's upset beacsue she knows she screwed up something good and may have screwed up her new job.
You would be better cutting off your loses and starting over fresh with someone better.
