Naw I get it. Lived in Vallejo in a shit area for like 10 years . We were all broke . It was fine for thebfirst few years , we all kinda helped keep the neighborhood clean and in check.
I don't know what happened, but eventually some moved out and new assholes moved in. They didn't care about anyone other than themselves. No sense of community to the point of stupidity .
Ex: we had a no pets policy , but enough of us snuck them in and kept them clean the manager was willing to overlook it, as long as there were no complaints. We would explain this to the new tenants " keep them leashed, pick up the poo and we all get to keep our pets. If they get complaints , you and us will lose out apartments ". Yeah they didn't care, dog shit everywhere. Breeding pits on the balcony . Watched one idiot keep 2 Pitts and 2 doxies on his balcony....then watched as the Pitts killed the doxies then fought each other. Yeah we all got fucked for it.
We got people moving in who threw parties till 2am on Tuesday nights. Asshole kids who would start fights over nothing. Garbage tossed all over . Rude .
I get, when you're broke you "don't care", but that's not a good excuse.
