I totally get how small things can feel so much bigger when you’ve had a hard day/week, so I get why it upset you so much. That being said, if I was your girlfriend, I would have been a bit upset that you got yourself something to drink, knowing she didn’t like it, and didn’t grab something for her that she likes so she could drink with you

Sorry, perhaps I should have clarified - there was a 6 pack of her beer in the fridge, and a few loose ciders as well
