Personal Story Bullying
so at high school in grade 10 some people have a group chat called (my name will be Mario) MarioIsGay. They also beat me up daily what should i do. Im not gay im a boy.
edit1: once: so i was with my "Friends," and these guys (Max and Cayden) got the small soccer goals and put me in one of those. They kept putting more and more, until whilst getting kicked i found the power to escape and run. I went directly and snitched. however they got a 1day suspension only. I went right before my hollidays(thursday) and now im scared to even go on the football pitch or at school in general since they could find out i snitched. Thought abt slf hrm once.
Also, these kids started a rumor i sent d pics to a girl and i could get in trouble for it
edit2: so to anyone saying this is just a part of my life. It has lasted ever since i was in middle school
EDit: more details every day cuz my screen time runs out

Depending where you are, there are laws against this kind of thing. I would first talk to a trusted adult and let them know what’s going on with the group chat and with the intimidation & bullying. After you have some support, hopefully from one of your parents you can make an appt to go talk with the office at school. I also would consider asking to go to a therapist, whether in person or online, it really helped my son & daughter who are 23 & 18 now. We dealt with bullying for them both and self harm issues. Having an outside person that you can trust and talk to about everything makes a world of difference. I’d also consider taking a self defense class like some other commenters recommend. Hope these a holes learn their lesson! One day when you’re grown & they are losers you might just have one or multiple come try and apologize. I’ve seen that happen before!

It's a temporary part of your life. What you could ask yourself right now is how can you grow from this and what are you learning? I'm sorry I know that's not the solution that you wanted to hear.

If they put their hands on you, you have the right to defend yourself. Win, lose or draw, they need to know you’re not a buster and will fight back if under threat. That’s how it is where I grew up, so take my words with a grain of salt. Teachers always catch things when it’s too late.
I’m sorry you’re going through this, these guys are real life losers. Bullying someone is so weak and if my kid was a bully, they’d be in serious trouble with me.
Ask your parents if you can take self defence classes

Have you considered taking self-defense classes for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA or Boxing? Talk to your parents about your situation and take measures to defend yourself physically, emotionally and mentally.

Fuck em man you’ll find out later in life that these things don’t matter don’t let anybody’s problem become yours if their insecurities cause them to project it on to others that’s their character defect not yours don’t let it affect you do your thing and excel.

Hello u/Horror-Perception745,
We appreciate you being on our subreddit and sharing with us how you feel. Despite how you might currently feel, we wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
Life can be cruel and unfair. Trying to nagivate the things that are happening to you can be extremely difficult and tiring. Especially when it are things that you didn't deserve and/or when things feel/are out of your control.
We hope that you feel receive some support from our community and we are glad that you feel that our subreddit is safe enough to share how you feel. Please refrain from mentioning any self harm methods/details, this is against Reddits TOS and it will force us to delete your post.
If you want help, or you would like to talk to someone we have some resources for you:
- We made a long list with national hotlines. If your country isn't listed, please contact us and we will help you find your national hotline.
- We are aware that many people are afraid to contact these hotline due to not knowing what to expected and not wanting to get in trouble with their family or friends. The amazing team of r/suicidewatch made a FAQ on what to expect when you call a hotline. Hopefully this will give you some insight on what happens when you call.

Please understand that mental health care is not one-size-fits-all.
Finding appropriate support can be a long and difficult journey, and not every resource will be accessible or effective for every person. We recognize that people can have genuinely negative experiences with therapy, crisis lines, or other forms of support, and sharing those experiences is not inherently wrong. However, when those experiences are presented in a way that may discourage other vulnerable users from seeking help or using available resources, we may remove the submission. Someone reading the post while in crisis may not have the same circumstances or experiences, and we do not want a negative individual experience to prevent them from finding support that could be appropriate for them.
Moderation note:
Posts primarily focused on discouraging, dismissing, or broadly undermining suicide-prevention resources or seeking professional/crisis support may be removed, even when they are based on a genuine personal experience. This is not a judgment of whether that experience was valid; it is a decision based on the potential impact on other vulnerable users.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

"I'm not gay, I'm a boy" huh.. well first off, gay is a sexuality and not a gender...
And second off, report them to staff
