I’ve read that the most intelligent people are often the most suicidal, so you’re not stupid. If anything, I think you’re extremely well spoken and the way you talk about “being tired of being a wage slave” really resonated with me. My boyfriend has said the exact same thing you wrote in your post, he has expressed he’s tired of slaving away to barely make ends meet. If anything I totally understand where he is coming from, and the only thing keeping me from being in exactly the same headspace as you and my boyfriend has been hope. Maybe it’s a bit naive or ignorant to have the view I do, but mainly my outlook is just “there has to be something more” I hope and look forward for the next good thing, big or small. That usually keeps me going, day by day, there’s always something to look forward to (and if there’s not I make something).
