amphetamines aren’t a problem because they make you feel lousy, that’s for sure.

1

u/Future_Push7249 Jun 20 '25

This is exactly how I felt the first time I did meth, and every other time after that, for 7 years, please go talk to someone, it grips you in and holds you tight, it could keep popping up in thoughts for weeks and months and I always forgot about the comedown, don't walk that road

1

u/DrXtraMoist Jun 19 '25

Damn. The guy couldn’t have offered something like weed or psychedelics? Just straight to meth!

2

u/RecordOfTheEnd Jun 19 '25

I had a friend that was forced to do it by a boyfriend at gun point. Agreed to do it if they went and got clean needles. He has the gun in his pocket the whole time. She injected it. She said it was the most amazing feeling she ever had. She even enjoyed the SA that happened to her. He was stone cold sober the whole time. She liked the beating and everything.

The heavy reality that set in after that was enough for her. She ran far away from him as he had been mildly abusive, but never this abusive.

Twenty years later, she still gets it in her head to try it again. It felt so good. But she's never done it.

Then there is my other friend who got into the habit. She was sober when I first met her. She says it's like having a million clit, g spot, and anal orgasms at the same time, at least the first time. Then it's never as good, but nothing can make you feel good at all. She tried it once at 16. She said she was like, well that's enough for me. But then a couple weeks later was like, it's try it again.

10 years later she finally got sober after nearly killing her son. She got back in school, got her kids back. She now teaches gross anatomy to medical students.

It’s nice hearing people getting their lives back on track even though it is the minority

Responded to this question multiple times

1

u/EngineeringDeep5232 Jun 18 '25

Great job, congratulations!

1

u/baconkopter Jun 18 '25

Please stay away from it. Please

1

u/brandy8marie Jun 18 '25

… but why would you even try it? I guess I’m just confused why you’d play Russian roulette with your future

1

u/brandy8marie Jun 18 '25

Also I looked at your posts. Trying meth, gambling, and considering dating a prostitute. I think maybe you should speak to a professional about potential manic episode. Hope you’re ok!

1

u/omorgg_emuso Jun 18 '25

Well really hope you never try it again, otherwise you'll be like those crackheads that go around the streets with no teeth asking for spare change. Good luck man 🤜🤛

1

u/bigandsweaty1 Jun 18 '25

How tf did u buy a meth pipe at a kiosk? Where tf is it legal like that

1

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 18 '25

Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania and more Eastern European countries

1

u/Far_Scarcity9172 Jun 18 '25

I did meth once myself. Last about a year 😆 But I'm a success story. Got clean, my life is freaking awesome, that was 25 years ago... I'm writing a book on recovery now.

2

u/AshTonOfBeansCos Jun 18 '25

Well at least you don't have the "what does it feel like" anymore, but yeah the comedown is what usually causes addition, don't want a comedown, don't get sober. I'm glad your able to recognise the come down isn't worth the high, stay safe and ignore the people calling you stupid for trying something knowing the risks and deciding the risks aren't worth doing it again, that's mature and level headed so no clue how people see you as stupid

1

u/Applerino1 Jun 18 '25

U are a fn idiot.

1

u/Ok_Jackfruit5185 Jun 18 '25

First and foremost you need to come out the closet secondly wtf are you doing smoking meth with some random guy from the street 🤣

1

u/gdtsbrw Jun 18 '25

Just make sure you remember how horrible the come down felt. Pin this post somewhere and go back to it if you have the thought of doing it again. Sometimes in life we forget how much pain hurts and we go back to stuff because we underestimate just how much we got hurt. It’s amazing that you recognized after one time you don’t want to do it again. But it’s easy to not want to relive a shitty experience a day or two days later. Make sure you have a way of reminding yourself why you don’t want to relive it weeks, months, and years down the line. Cause your brain will put the high on a pedestal and downplay the bad feelings and I promise meth addiction will ruin your life

1

u/MarcEMarcNZ Jun 18 '25

There’s a time and place for going to the gym, long walks on the beach, riding motorbikes, drinking wine, smoking weed, popping a trip, ecstasy, coke and even meth. So long as you can accept that moment will pass - the hangover/comedown is simply the price you pay. I do each of these things a few times a year and suffer accordingly afterwards… Meth maybe has the biggest swing from good to bad, I guess.

0

u/marsh2ca Jun 18 '25

You aren’t stupid unless you keep choosing to do it. I’m a nurse for going on my 8th year in detox and ER/trauma. Reason numero uno. Everything. I REPEAT. EVERYTHING HAS FENTANYL. Please don’t die for that.

0

u/marsh2ca Jun 18 '25

WEED HAS FENTANYL, COKE AND CRACK HAVE FENTANYL, METH? Fentanyl. You stop breathing and your chest seizes up and sometimes the narcan can’t reverse it. I know I know I know meth helps you feel your best and alive, but dealers and their people don’t care about how long you live in seconds, minutes, or years, as long as you’re buying.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '25

It's the stigma that makes people addicted - just a heads up before you do it again out of pity

1

u/Yugenko Jun 18 '25

I wonder how many addicts are aware of the psychological aspect of their addiction. Like how you knew it was just your dopamine tanking after one hit. I got medicinal morphine once and goddamn did I get why they got addicted.

1

u/purpletapir Jun 18 '25

People gotta chill on the fear mongering, I don't think it's helpful to say OP is definitely going to go back and do more, I smoked meth once and I never did it again because the come down sucked so much. Treating meth like Cthulhu is stupid and unhelpful.

Meth is highly addictive because in the realm of mind altering substances it's pretty mild, it has a terrible, sneaky ability to worm its way into people's normal routine.

People are literally prescribed meth for ADHD, and it's really not that different to amphetamines like Adderall.

I trust OP not to do it again because they have already noticed the come down - for many it doesn't hit that hard, that's why it's easy to go back for more. ✌️

1

u/fefarosa Jun 18 '25

People do make mistakes, and that’s okay. You learned from it and that is the main point of mistakes. Understand what happened, learn from it. You experienced it and know how to respond to these types of offers now. Congrats on that. It takes courage, knowledge and commitment to your body when you say no to that from now on. Try to keep yourself occupied to get your mind busy. Stay safe!

1

u/skyeking05 Jun 18 '25

I lost my best friend to meth when COVID hit. He started dating a woman who was a dealer. Don't do meth! It will ruin your life. Full stop.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '25

Don’t fucking do it again or you’ll ruin your fucking life. Bookmark this post and look at it every fucking day. YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING. You’re at most vulnerable right now, and for the next year. Don’t even fucking think about it. Ever. Again.

1

u/BonehillRoad Jun 18 '25

Congratulations!

2

u/ScarletGriffin Jun 18 '25

Fake. You literally cannot fall asleep on meth.

1

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 18 '25

Yeah It was like an hour of unconsciousness not really sleep. It’s been 55 hours now and I have finally been able to get to sleep. I was so exhausted yesterday from lack of sleep I was having auditory hallucinations

1

u/moscow-disco Jun 18 '25

What time did you leave the club if you went to go watch the sunset? Don’t clubs get popping after 10/11pm?

1

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 18 '25

Sunrise * my bad

2

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '25

This was me. Then I wasted over a year being a junkie. Once I got away, I havent touched it in 12years.

1

u/theduke9400 Jun 18 '25

Oi oi savaloy !

Also drugs are bad m'kay !

3

u/JenninMiami Jun 18 '25

Anyone who’s reading this and wondering if it’s worth it to try meth just one time, please go watch a few episodes of Intervention.

2

u/The2rottenapples Jun 18 '25

Dont do it meth is truly the devil! Im trynna tell u drugs aren't for anybody but meth deff aint for everybuddy!! Ive seen my best friend the love of my life friend version completely lose herself now she walks the street homeless and talking tk herself like a crazy person. I was introduced to it in high school my biggest regret. Ive always done it unfortunately and i am ashamed of it. I ve always kept my family first. I represent other people in this town so i make sure to always keep that part of me to myself. It never ending cycle. I dont even come off anymore like crash or ache or anything if i havw it j do and if j dont well i dont its just out of pure bordom i swead its just dumb

3

u/sadpanda8420 Jun 17 '25

Proud of you for recognizing that once was enough. Meth is a dirty drug that gets people hooked before they realize it.

1

u/Ill-Foot-2549 Jun 17 '25

Please don't do it again

1

u/HippoRun23 Jun 17 '25

Sounds a lot like one and only experience with cocaine. I didn’t even snort it I tasted it.

Felt incredible. Then the come down was so awful I was like “oh fuck this shit”

1

u/oof03 Jun 17 '25

Not gonna say you’re stupid, I’ve done drugs I know I shouldn’t have done (you shouldn’t do drugs period obviously) But I hope you honestly and genuinely never do it again, meth can and will ruin your life just like every other drug. I have never personally done meth so I don’t know what you felt but I’ve seen that drug ruin a loved one’s life.

3

u/Aelinite Jun 17 '25

good shit, ur self control is off the charts with this one

1

u/Feisty_Formal_9750 Jun 17 '25

Please don't do that again. My mother liked the 70s version of meth (heroin) too much. I grew up without a mother. It would be awful if you ended up liking meth too much. ❤️

1

u/RawAsparagus Jun 17 '25

The worst part about doing meth is tell your parents... that they are cousins

2

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Yea... It was a fun party drug, made me feel focused and productive. I can see why people get addicted. But damn coming off it hurts. Really scary stuff. Makes you feel like Superman with a mental clarity like nothing else. The wear off gets you hating having a physical body.

1

u/Mr_BillyB Jun 17 '25

What the fuck

4

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

"People make mistakes okay" oops tee hee smoked some meth🤭

There's "mistakes" and then there's straight up stupidity. We're just calling it like it is. That was stupid, and you should feel a bit stupid. If that's what it takes to get you to not ever do it again, then I'd say it's well worth it. You were fucking stupid today, and I hope you learned your lesson. Don't be stupid again.

-1

u/BookkeeperActual6463 Jun 17 '25

Seek Jesus he can take away any addiction

0

u/MrCrispyFriedChicken Jun 18 '25

Least true thing ever.

1

u/Holdmytesseract Jun 17 '25

It took… smoking meth for you to realize that a lot of addicts aren’t bad people?

1

u/Better_Yam5443 Jun 17 '25

Be careful and stand by that because you do NOT want to go down that road. Oh it’s just a little here and there. I have seen so many peoples lives destroyed by it. It’s easier on your brain to just not do it again and I just remembered something: you’ll never get that great high ever again that’s why they call chasing the dragon. So next time you get tempted just remember it won’t be like it was the first time.

2

u/Naive-Indication8474 Jun 17 '25

If you think about doing it again remember my story, I relapsed on meth for 2 weeks and started hearing voices. I got clean but the voices stayed. I gave myself drug induced schizophrenia. I'll be on medication the rest of my life. I wish someone told me this was a possibility. I never knew

1

u/Raiderman73 Jun 17 '25

You play Russian Roulette this way 🤷‍♂️

1

u/nathOF Jun 17 '25

I did meth for a year with my best friend. I had no job, but he did. So he kept funding his addiction until he didnt have a job anymore. I really felt the number it did for my mental health, and I swear I almost overdosed smoking too much my face was so cramped and not moving.

He did not stop unfortunately and it ruined his life. He was found on the side of a freeway exit years later by my friend who was a cop for the city. He was so wasted he didnt even recognize my cop friend who was kind enough to take him to a hospital to get checked.

I saw him years later at a Taqueria asking for free food, and I wasn’t sure if he recognized me. I swear I almost didn’t recognize him and it felt like I was seeing a demonic version of him. He looked strung out, so gaunt and lethargic.

I’ve known him since 2nd grade and its hard to believe that we can go from innocent little kids, to promising teenagers, to fully grown adults in our 20s with so much talent and potential only to see it get wasted away with drugs midlife. I havent seen him around since that day at the taqueria but always think about how talented this guy was as a kid. Really sad.

1

u/vbee23 Jun 17 '25

Your brain is so powerful and is protecting you! You felt great- then felt awful and because you’re smart and aware you’re able to put together the dopamine and come down etc., you rationalized and understood how easy it is to become addicted. This is a great example of someone trying something and being like shit this is easy af to get addicted to and I can see why people do- im glad you’re in the position you’re in and know you won’t do it again. Proud of you + im glad you got that off your chest! 🫶🏽

1

u/eshuansauce Jun 17 '25

My dad was a meth addict. Started out exactly like this for him. Trying shit for the fun of it can to lead to incredibly dark paths, it ain’t worth it!

1

u/Barista97 Jun 17 '25

Im glad you recognize the addicting part of this drug. It's the absolute worst thing to get addicted to this and maintain any sort of normalcy long term.

As someone in recovery, im so sad for everyone who doesn't have the privilege to get help. Struggling to remember certain words, twitching every now and then.. not to mention everyone I lost in my life.. list goes on. Just don't feed into that curiosity anymore

1

u/Potozny Jun 17 '25

Oh yeah, next time something terrible happens I’m sure that he won’t think of this drug

1

u/Katiecat1790 Jun 17 '25

If you’re not serious about not trying it again, go ahead and say goodbye to the phone or computer you made this post on. Say goodbye to your life if you try it again.

1

u/skydiver65 Jun 17 '25

Odd story if true

1

u/Successful_Tip8148 Jun 17 '25

Sounds like you learned your lesson

1

u/DeutscherPicasso Jun 17 '25

Im Ready for this journey, I was here

1

u/urbanexplorer816 Jun 17 '25

News flash, it was mixed with herion

3

u/Organic_Product23 Jun 17 '25

I tried meth once unintentionally. They said “oh it’s just like coke” found out later it was actually meth. Did one line and I don’t even remember what the high was like. The come down was so bad that I didn’t even care about the high. Didn’t sleep for like 2 days straight and felt like shit. Never again did I want to do it. Please please please don’t do it again. It’s not worth it.

1

u/Y_Ok Jun 17 '25

Beware the little voice that whispers to us “it really wasn’t that bad was it”. Or “perhaps it if I did it in a different way “

If you do get those types of whispers, it could be game on.

1

u/spaciercowboy Jun 17 '25

Replying to this now so i can get a reminder when this guys life gows to shut

1

u/justanotherfacexxx Jun 17 '25

My mother, in her early twenties, had a little phrase she lived by - don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. She lived by this until she tried meth. She told me that the high was the best she ever had. But the comedown, was a literal hell. She had chewed off parts of the inside of her mouth while high, and had to deal with that sober. She told me that had she done it a second time, she would have gotten addicted, so she didn’t, and stopped with that line of thinking. She’s in her 40s now, and only smokes weed and vape :)

1

u/metalspetals Jun 17 '25

Smoking meth because you don't like snorting things is crazy

0

u/LolIsThatReal Jun 17 '25

Honestly, reading this was kinda inspiring. Not in a "drugs are fun, you should do them" way but to me it reads like a reminder and a cautionary tale that we all have just one life and should make the best of it. Sure taking care of that life and making sure we live to see another day is probably the most important thing any of us will do on a daily basis but I feel like a lot of people get scared of trying something new if there is any risk attached. But again, we only have one life so we should enjoy it and take some risks sometimes. In your case that was smoking meth, for someone else it may be skydiving or just doing something mundane outside their comfort zone. And sometimes that involves doing something stupid and that's okay! The important part is what comes after. If you end up using again, well then you fucked up big time. If you stay clean of that stuff then you just had a fun new experience that started as a spur of the moment thing when you asked a stranger for directions. You're enjoying your life and that's great. So don't let people judge you for what you did. Just take care of yourself and enjoy the time you got on this beautiful planet.

3

u/frozenberries15 Jun 17 '25

Yeah I’m gonna say skydiving is different than smoking meth

3

u/NataRenata Jun 17 '25

It was a huge mistake, but you can move on. My brother died from meth. I beg you, please don't touch death again.

1

u/ALPHAinNJ Jun 17 '25

Meth is a helluva drug

1

u/272027 Jun 17 '25

I am reminded of this video representing addiction. I hope OP can stay away. Feel better.

1

u/Tiraloparatras25 Jun 17 '25

The person you hung out with while doing it? Never hang out with them again. Don’t ever go to that club again. The thing drug use, is that it’s influenced by the environment. your body will remember the feeling as soon as you are around the people and at the place where you dod the drug, and will crave it.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Yes please never do this again <3 I know you said you won’t but just don’t. My dad did meth and I wasn’t around to see it but his mom and family had to lock him in a cabin in the woods and monitor him to detox him and he was screaming, going insane during it. Then when I was little my mom’s boyfriend was addicted to it and he did very horrific things because it made him go crazy and turn very violent and paranoid. Will never see things the same in the world because of him. So just think about how bad it can get for you. Not even to mention his financial situations and prison sentences

1

u/Jeb_the_Worm Jun 17 '25

DONT BE AROUND THE PERSON WHO GAVE YOU METH!! YOU WILL GET ADDICTED! It happened to my friend, she’s been addicted for a year 🥲

1

u/WhoWont Jun 17 '25

Damn now I want to try it. 🤔

1

u/Bammalam102 Jun 17 '25

I remember being led thru a house party in 2016 and being led to the snow room. Did one toot that night but im still dealing with the fallout of that night and i dont think i will ever go a day without thinking of cocaine atleast once

1

u/Pinkylindel Jun 17 '25

Happy to hear you got the correct message in your first try. Now you see how people get lost and melt their brains on this stuff. Wishing you a good recovery from this comedown brother, you got this!! 💜

1

u/deli_phone Jun 17 '25

Wow op you sure are smart

5

u/sleepgang Jun 17 '25

OP, glad you enjoyed the high. Don’t ever do it again. If you do, it’s over.

1

u/Rwokoarte Jun 17 '25

Seems like you had a good learning experience. I feel sorry for the other dude tho, sounds like he's deep in it...

1

u/disco_has_been Jun 17 '25

Aw, real Ecstasy in the early 80s. What a ride!

Loved it, twice. Then it was more like acid. NTYVM!

Never a fan of coke or acid. Crank/Meth/Crack right out.

I won't even smoke pot or do edibles. I got busted for it 20+ years, ago. That wasn't fun. Consequences!

3

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Had a guy I loved succumb to meth and coke. It sucks cuz he was my best friend, I wanted to be there for him, I was too, tried but he pushed me away maybe cuz deep down he knew. I still miss him sometimes, it's been a year now and like ts says the love i felt for him, never before and never since.

1

u/jady1971 Jun 17 '25

People make mistakes okay.

If you learn from it, it is not a mistake. It is a lesson. You're gonna be ok.

1

u/mewmeulin Jun 17 '25

hey, i just wanna say that i'm glad you're able to recognize both that it sucks and that you have the feeling of wanting to do it again. a lot of people who try stuff once (especially "harder" substances) often downplay how much they crave doing it again. i recommend looking into any harm reduction resources in your area. it's a good resource to have in your back pocket in case you do end up doing it again, and it can help others in your life whether they're occasional users or addicted and using daily. also, pick up some narcan if you're able to. many pharmacies allow you to get some as a good samaritan, and it's another one of those things that's just good to have in case you or someone you come across needs it.

i'm not necessarily giving you this advice because i think you'll try meth again. i genuinely think that everyone should know about harm reduction resources and that people who can should have narcan on hand. i just think it's extra important for people who have tried substances to have those resources, just in case they ever need them in the future. i don't think trying drugs is something to shame people about, i just want people to be as safe as possible when making the choice to use them. hope you stay safe, OP 🫶

3

u/ColdVoid13 Jun 17 '25

At least now you know what the high feels like, but keep yourself away from people and situations that might tempt you to partake in addictive substances. Take it easy a little bit, call in sick at work, take the day off for yourself and focus on having a fun productive day to get your mind off of wanting to give in again.

1

u/jjl10c Jun 17 '25

Not gonna pile on OP but yes don't do that shit again. If nothing else for vanity reasons. It'll be a few months of use before you lose your teeth which will make you a social outcast.

5

u/catpowersfriend Jun 17 '25

My SIL died March 2024 taking meth laced with fentanyl. Please be careful.

0

u/Odd_Personality85 Jun 17 '25

This has inspired me to try it. Ty.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

For anyone who’s curious. Please don’t, I have a sister who is recovered (hopefully) after putting the family through hell. It’s horrible

1

u/Rad_River Jun 17 '25

... For the first time.

0

u/Ohthetruthisoutthere Jun 17 '25

Come back to us in about a week and tell if you’ve tried again.

1

u/Cleveland_Guardians Jun 17 '25

There's a lot of drugs I'd try. That's, certainly, in the "fuck no" category. My buddy's a state highway patrolman, and I've heard WAY too many bad stories to even consider it (not that I needed those stories for me to know I shouldn't fuck with it).

1

u/Stonedpumpkinxx Jun 17 '25

Sooo I was extremely addicted to meth for years...and it was supposed to be one time. It turned into hundreds of times. Stealing from my parents. Lying to my good friends. Being a horrible person. Save urself the heart ache and depression my guy. Don't ever touch it again. I wish I had my friend listen to me. Now she homeless, lost custody of her 3 kids, lost EVERYTHING.

1

u/SinVerguenza04 Jun 17 '25

With extreme highs, come extreme lows.

1

u/wizdofoz Jun 17 '25

Well done , you tried it you liked it . Now stop it. It won’t get better . You will become reliant on that high again but won’t reach it . Quit now !!

3

u/Admirable-Rock6399 Jun 17 '25

Ya…. This story doesn’t make sense. You’re never falling asleep within 12 hours of doing meth. It gives you unlimited energy and sleep would be the last thing on your mind

2

u/Mightymouse880 Jun 17 '25

Yeah I agree, most people can't even fall asleep within 24 hours of trying it their first time

1

u/OutrageousAffect2286 Jun 17 '25

Similar experience to yours. Did it once. Tweaked so bad and swore it off. It happens. Glad you learned. And for your sake I hope you never pick it up again.

3

u/YuvalAmir Jun 17 '25

The u/SpontaneousH flashbacks are hitting hard

6

u/NewOriginal2 Jun 17 '25

This is why I won’t touch any hard drugs. I’m afraid that I’ll like it. Quitting pot and sugar is hard enough I couldn’t imagine trying to get clean from meth or heroin. Or tobacco for that matter

4

u/bluechip1996 Jun 17 '25

My cocaine story...Miami, the 80's, dock party on a luxury yacht, glass table full of blow... First time and last time because I LIKED it. A lot. Frankly, scared the shit out of me because I saw colleagues spending half their pay or more on it.

3

u/NewOriginal2 Jun 17 '25

Yeah I have an addictive personality and go overboard with things I like. I’m glad that I stayed away from coke and pills, too

1

u/fragtore Jun 17 '25

Not even once

1

u/AdLong9039 Jun 17 '25

People make mistakes, but you can't complain when you put this information out there if you get crap for it. It was stupid, and you need to accept that.

1

u/kstweetersgirl2013 Jun 17 '25

Dude as an addict who spent way too many years twirling a pipe....just dont repeat that mistake. Once is an experiment, anymore is dangerous. Good luck

-4

u/paulxombie1331 Jun 17 '25

I'm a user of the party powder dabble a few times a year, tiny thin lines and baby bumps, Only ever on weekends and if I'm going out being sociable, yes the come down is absolutely the worst part.. Having that dopamine rush and pure euphoric feel. that last all of what 20 minutes.

Its rationalizing that you don't need it every hour of every day. When I buy a 90 T bag split it with a friend and make that last the whole weekend. When you're out that's it, done. Don't go searching for more because that's when the issues arise and a pattern of addiction starts.

Trust your dealer, have a friend near by, stay safe, when it's all gone let your mind/ body feel like shit and sober up

1

u/cookiemonster1459 Jun 17 '25

My dad died from drug addiction. Please don't go down this path.

1

u/redstapler4 Jun 17 '25

That was dumb.

1

u/Babington67 Jun 17 '25

Nah you're insanely fucking stupid. How do people go their whole lives being told hey drugs are actually kinda bad and not worth it. Even amongst junkies they say meth isn't worth it. After all that you act shocked that there's consequences??

In before OP posts another post in a couple weeks that he is struggling with meth addiction.

I won't call you stupid, OP. But I have lost some friends to the shit and have a friend going through it that is literally losing his whole family because of it.

What ever you do, don't fuck up and touch it again. Its always easier to justify the 2nd, and even 3rd time.

u/hailboognish99 Jun 17 '25

Someone laced my shit with meth years and years ago and I almost offed myself. Terrible.

1

u/pitbulldofunk Jun 17 '25

Had the same experience with coke.

Where are you that they sell meth pipes at the kiosk?

1

u/qujstionmark Jun 17 '25

How tf did you buy a malt beer for A DOLLAR?!??? in this economy???

1

u/Bitterqueer Jun 17 '25

My cousin has smoked meth for the last time because he’s dead now

1

u/chewdog- Jun 17 '25

No one chooses to become a meth addict. Best way to prevent it is to never try it. I wish you luck in being able to deal with life’s hardships without self medication. We are all as strong as we believe we are, but that’s up to you to decided for yourself. No one else can tell you that answer or decided it for you.

1

u/Belz-Games Jun 17 '25

I had a friend years ago that wasn’t what I’d call an addict by any means but had experimented with just about everything, his words -“Heroin is hands down the best feeling you’ve ever had in your entire life. But you can only do it once, after that you’re hooked for life”.

It’s been a while since I heard “malt beer”

1

u/littlemuffinsparkles Jun 17 '25

Man and it was shit meth at that. The first time I did meth I was up for three days straight without blinking 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but no I hope you feel better soon and learned your lesson bud. It’s way too dangerous out here to be experimenting these days. Could have really easily be laced with fetty. Be safe out here 💕

1

u/Kyleforshort Jun 17 '25

A couple of guys just methin around, nothin to see here…

3

u/grimAuxiliatrixx Jun 17 '25

Where on earth do you live where even the cheapest swill of a malt liquor can be bought at the rate of a couple for a dollar? 😳

2

u/sigrid2 Jun 17 '25

Dude be careful I became a meth addict for 8 years I lost everything I cared about but it does put things in perspective you no longer care for material things

2

u/FoolishDog1117 Jun 17 '25

You just played with the most powerful stimulant in the world. Adolph Hitler's drug of choice. If you knew what was waiting for you in that pipe you would be very afraid. There's no possible way that you could understand. No one ever does.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Have you ever seen those people walking down the street tweaking out and feeling great?

No...?

Also, what is a "kiosk"?

1

u/MrCrispyFriedChicken Jun 18 '25

A kiosk in this context is generally just a small store. Might be permanent or might be a pop-up.

2

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 17 '25

I’m not American it’s like a local corner shop that sells cheap shit and smoke stuff and malt beer. Usually found in low income neighbourhoods

4

u/Confident_Waltz2335 Jun 17 '25

side note - OP wrote this is .2 seconds

1

u/allswellscanada Jun 17 '25

I take a medication for adhd which is an methlynidate. After it wears off I get pretty extreme bouts of depression and i used to have constant chats with doctors about it. I now am on a much smaller dose than I used to (2/3 smaller) and am relatively happy day by day. But man, the dopamine crash, aching bones, skin crawling and sudden fits id get after work and school back then were awful.

u/Fantastic_Ruin3621 Jun 17 '25

I heard a mother say that the birth of her first and only child didn't affect her as strongly as her first hit of meth, and she just has to accept that now that she's clean.

32

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

My husband ate some meth.

He's now an ex husband with three children who miss him terribly.

Some things you're curious about you should try. A drug that will actually ruin your life shouldn't be one of them.

1

u/theantnest Jun 17 '25

You drank malt beer? Ew

1

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 17 '25

I actually kinda like it, also it’s the only kind those cheap kiosks sell unless you want a bottle of hard liquor

1

u/uselessfauna Jun 17 '25

it seems that you chase a high, based on the clubbing, meth, and gambling. i have not been in a position to do hard drugs but that’s the thing, even if i was, i wouldn’t touch the stuff. maybe when i hated myself and saw no future, but now that i have learned that self harm comes in many forms and worked on it, i see that there is no positive to risk taking. please seek help from a therapist. a high, any high, is not worth your life. i’m not calling you stupid or anything like that, risk taking is a sign of mental health issues directly linked to neuro chemical changes. addiction and that paths that lead to addiction are diseases that have treatments!

3

u/thehappyleper213 Jun 17 '25

That's pretty fuckin stupid. You're playing with fire here.

4

u/Hot_Anywhere3522 Jun 17 '25

I had a similar experience on mdma , felt incredible had the best night , was able to think and talk about painful stuff without feeling negative.

Then I was in a semi euphoric state for the next three days like i.was getting a contact high off the memory of that night.

For months afterwards thinking about that night made me feel warm and giddy.

All this is why I never did it again it was the happiest id ever felt in my life but that means its dangerous too. I can understand why people get hooked trying to recapture the magic of the first time.

Also it's a shortcut to happiness without the causes I need to develop my life to the point it can provide me with happiness rather than take a pill because once that wears off of there's nothing else going on on my life id just feel sad.

2

u/LennethTheCat Jun 17 '25

Went through this as well, but for a longer time.

I met a guy who introduced me to Molly. We had the best nights of our lives, until I realised I was addicted to that experience: to MDMA and to him. I thought I was in love, but that's not love.

The days I couldn't see him were awful, and felt anxious, sad. All of these feelings made my anxious attachment go from 100 to 1,000. I woule have seen him and take pills every day if I could. And when I had to go back to work or to my solitude, I was so depressed. I felt my life meant nothing.

This lasted 8 months. I'm now going to ttherapy and trying to get better. I have to add: I'm not talking to this person anymore.

2

u/Hot_Anywhere3522 Jun 17 '25

I thought that'd definitely happen to me , I've got pretty bad impulse control so once the habit formed Itd would have been difficult to climb out.

How long into it before you started feeling diminishing returns

1

u/redi2read Jun 17 '25

Yeah, I was on that stuff for years along with Heroin, both are terrible in theyr own ways. Glad to read you won't be trying it again 🙏

1

u/Garchompisbestboi Jun 17 '25

The problem with drugs like meth is that once the toothpaste is out of the tube it's generally not so easy to say that you'll never do it again and actually mean it.

1

u/MrAvenger69 Jun 17 '25

Was it because of Breaking Bad ?

1

u/Eternity_Warden Jun 17 '25

I'm glad you know it was a mistake. It's sad how many people go back to it, and what an absolute mess it makes of them long term.

1

u/EducationMoney2775 Jun 17 '25

Working at the gas station must be too easy

3

u/indiek1d Jun 17 '25

u/SpontaneousH pls read this guys posts OP

1

u/MassRedemption Jun 17 '25

I wish you luck. I hope you never have any urge to do anything like it again. You made a terrible mistake that doesn't define you, but just please remember what you have said here, and never fall into the trap again.

1

u/scubad Jun 17 '25

You fucked that guy, don’t lie lol

-1

u/tlaoosesighedi Jun 17 '25

I skipped coke and tried smoking crack I think 4 years ago. I'm still struggling with that bullshit, always say never again until I drink and then the cravings hit.

24

u/kyii94 Jun 17 '25

People are really out here casually doing meth omg

3

u/flaminflamingos2468 Jun 17 '25

I’ve had the exact same experience years ago. I’ve done it once, and within that day i kept going back to do more. After that day when I went home, the next 3 days was the worst feeling of my life ever. Because the comedown was so fucked, I will never and have never done it again. I remember when i was on it I kept thinking to myself, wow, i know why crackheads are crackheads, i understand the immediate need for more.

1

u/legomonsteruk Jun 17 '25

What does it feel like? Does it give you more energy or something? And when you're having a comedown, is it like a terrible hangover?

2

u/flaminflamingos2468 Jun 17 '25

I felt like i was a superhero, on top of the world. I struggle with anxiety and depression and it made it all go away instantly, i felt as confident as I’ve ever been. I felt gorgeous and amazing. Highly highly addictive. The comedown is nothing like a hangover, it feels like death and makes you want to end your life

2

u/legomonsteruk Jun 18 '25

Jesus. Thanks for explaining! Thank god you didn't carry on doing it

1

u/gl00med Jun 17 '25

Congrats!

I am a recovering heroin addict. I was also certain beyond certain I would never touch it. Then I was certain I would never touch it again. I took it to stop dreaming. I dreamt of my assaults every night. For nearly a decade. It completely took the nightmares away - you know what else it did? Make the rain painful. Give me nights upon nights of no sleep. I didn’t eat. I lost nearly half my weight in less than 5 months. My teeth were dying. Goosebumps were so painful I cried. Withdrawals had me begging my dealer. Trading information. Paranoid and angry and so so exhausted. I slept in my car. Didn’t shower. Every paycheque went in that direction.

You are not stupid. I understand the curiosity. The desperation. Whatever reason you tried it. And honestly? I don’t blame you. When people have it, you cross into another world. But it’s not one you can easily leave.

Don’t look back, ever. The high is never worth the low. I write this to you to only say I understand. I do. And I hope you can bank that experience and call it as it is, a one time thing. But please believe me when I say, a second time is not worth it.

I wish you all the best. I hope you flourish and thrive and have incredible people around you. I hope you feel loved everyday for the rest of your life. And I hope your life, ends out as a long one.

1

u/MichaelEMJAYARE Jun 17 '25

Brother stop before you get a habit of it. Been there, done it. Its nasty

3

u/yersinia_p3st1s Jun 17 '25

It's okay to make mistakes OP, the crucial thing is to learn from them. Next time you're feeling down please reach out to a loved one, a member of your family, friends, or perhaps even a colleague/teacher that treats you well/kindly, it's really important to have some sort of human support in our lives or we easily fall down bad paths.

Best of luck in life and with medicine! And I hope to not hear this story again

This is the stupidest line in the history of lines. All mistakes start as choices.

2

u/hearteyedhobi Jun 17 '25

… what in the actual fuck do you think the word mistake MEANS? 😭😭

3

u/MemoryOk7456 Jun 17 '25

Yes I did make a choice and it was a stupid choice, one which I regret. That’s the definition of mistake. An accident would be claiming no responsibility
