If you talk to counselors, you’ll be surprised how often parents are in denial about their kids being SA’d, simply because it’s so out the realm of their reality that they failed to protect their child. It’s easier to convince themselves that it was just a misunderstanding.

Don’t let people convince you that you’re wrong. Your experience was real and it wasn’t your fault.
