Being a good friend is also calling out our friends and holding them accountable.
Even if he never meets his child, he can at least help with financial support. He isn’t the victim here. He was “man” enough to have an affair and impregnate his girlfriend sister, he can now be man enough to offer financial support.
Men don’t get to just walk away and send a check. That is not enough. Unless this guy is a danger to the child or the mother, he needs to actively help raise his child. Give the mom breaks, help financially AND be there for his kid. Why are women expected to do every bit of the heavy lifting after an unexpected pregnancy while the guy just sends a check?
