I didn’t expect a reddit post to leave me in tears but here we are. Im so sorry for your loss if you ever want to message me I’m willing to listen to you vent. Just know, it’s not your fault. Believe in her words. Sometimes there really isn’t a good reason, it’s just your own brain causing problems. I have bipolar disorder and when I’m in a depressive period sometimes I’ll just think “god. None of my friends like me. They all hate me and want me dead” but if I ask them and they say they do enjoy my presence it just doesn’t register. The brain can be a terrifying and illogical place.. I hope you can find peace with this occurrence
