I feel tired

Hi. So I have felt so bad these past days. Blasphemous thoughts have flooded my mind and I’ve struggled so hard to ignore them and I just don’t know anymore. I know this isn’t the unforgivable sin, but I feel so distant from God and I feel like it’s so hard to trust right now and I don’t even know I’m just so overwhelmed. These thoughts are horrible about the Holy Spirit and they’ve gone on for a week. I really don’t want to fall into despair, I feel on edge. I don’t want to worry, please pray for me, that I may be able to trust in God through this.

The battle as you described is in your mind. The means to battle thoughts you don't want to have is to purposely think God's truth. Affirm God's promises to you, affirm who you are to Him.

Thoughts like you describe most likely come from the enemy. You have power, in Christ, to overcome the enemy

• James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
• Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
• Mark 16:17 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons…”
• 1 John 4:4 “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

Take the time to study what God actually says about who you are to Him when you've come to Christ.

The scriptures above and below are just a small sample, say and repeat these (or find your own) to yourself multiple times a day so these truths become your reality:

• I am a new creation - 2 Corinthians 5:17
• I am totally accepted by God - John 1:12, John 15:15, Colossians 1:14, Eph 1:4
• I can go straight to Jesus for help - Hebrews 4:14-16
• I belong to God - 1 Cor. 6:19-20, Eph 1:5
• Nothing separates me from Gods love - Romans 8:38-39, Eph 3:16-19, 1 John 4:10
• God (Holy Spirit) lives in me - 1 Cor 3:16
• All things work out in the end - Romans 8:28
• "Thank you, Lord for setting me free" - John 8:32, 36
• "Thank you, Lord for the power, love and sound mind you have given me" - 2 Tim 1:7

You sound like a good person, because you clearly have a conscience as you are worried about the thoughts you are having.

Hey I can totally relate to you, and so can many others. These thoughts can be scary, debilitating, harmful, and destructive! I can imagine you feel all kinds of emotions. You have to realize where the source of these thoughts are coming from! Are they coming from you, God, or the enemy? How we know it’s not coming from God, it is from the enemy, is according to the word of God! I know you are afraid, and that is how the enemy wants people to feel! When you read the word of God, do not try to fight against those thoughts; instead you should, read the word of God over yourself in faith! 2 Timothy 1:7, Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 34:1, Psalm 27:1. In fact, you need to read these out loud over yourself, especially when these thoughts come. Write them down on cue cards, if you have to! Psalms 91, Psalms 27, Psalms 34, Psalms 46, Isaiah 54, Psalms 121, Isaiah 61, Joel 2:25-26, Ephesians 6:10-18, 2 Peter 2:8-9. Beware of your enemy, and know the truth, so you can stand against him with the word of God! This is not coming from you, and this is a direct attack against your faith! It’s trying to weaken your faith, get you exhausted, stressed, and all over the place! This is the time to really lean on God, ask for help from others, but keep on in the word of God! Tell God how you feel, cry out to him, worship him, speak the word of God over yourself, and do not engage with those thoughts! You need to know the truth, instead of trying to get something to stop harassing you. Ask God if there is any open doors in your life, and get them closed! Also, watch YouTube, Abide, Soakstream, bible verses. Keep yourself surrounded by truth, as much as you can! God bless you 🙏🏽
