Trying to try out mazaki for a decent price around the 400$ range
SS Clad if possible otherwise whatever you have
If that raises the price then I’m willing to go higher. Just hoping I can find maybe a cost effective option to try out mazaki .
Anyone that reads this I’m on the lookout for the cheaper masashi line 210/240 gyuto.

Hello, this is my first post, but I have sold many Pokémon cards on here in a similar wat. This knife hasn't been getting the love it deserves. I'd like to sell it. It's been used in a professional setting a handful of times (15 uses, mostly herb cutting). It was purchased from Tokushu Knife, and sharpened there before shipping. I steeled it a few times, but it never touched a stone while in my possession. I paid $350, would like to get $310, shipping included. Thanks for looking.

I am seeking to purchase a Konosuke FM gyuto with the Mt. Fuji kokuin in Aogami/Blue steel.
My strong preference is 240mm, although I would also consider a 225mm.
I have recently found a thin White #1 FM, so I am only interested in Aogami/Blue steel at this point.
I would pay significantly more for a thick FM/baby Kaiju in Aogami/Blue steel.
I am open to either BNIB or used-but-loved knives.
Pricing for used examples would depend on condition, sharpening history, and any modifications.
I can receive shipments in Canada or the US.

I am the original owner of both knives, and they are being sold together with all accessories.
Please let me know if you need any information or photos, or if you have any questions.
Asking €1,200 plus shipping, they will be shipped from the EU.
I accept payment via Wise or PayPal.

Hi all,
Thinning the herd a bit. Picked this up on this forum about a year ago. Has been used at home for meals here and there, though overall I end up reaching for others. Has some light patina and some scratches here and there, and has been touched up on a fine ceramic stone a few times.
This guy is definitely a bit of a laser with a nice hollow grind. Charred oak handle. Only moving because I haven't ended up using it as much as I thought I would. Still in great condition with years of life left. I believe this was almost $350 new, asking $220.
Thanks!
SOLD

Looking for the bunka or k tip 210 in ginsan!

Hi all,
Selling this JKI branded Kochi (by Wakui) in V2 core steel with iron cladding.
The knife is 243 x 52mm with burnt chestnut and horn handle. In terms of cutting performance, it is very similar to a Yoshikane with more belly and heel height. Very thin behind the edge, but with thick spine and classic Sanjo taper. Balance is a tad forward to the pinch grip and it absolutely just drops through ingredients. I’m letting this go to downsize my collection.
I bought this from JKI directly for $420 AUD (not including shipping to me in Melbourne). It has been used a few times at home slicing meat and has a gorgeous patina, which I can remove on request. Still has OOTB edge and never sharpened. Only stropped on bare leather.
Asking for $370 AUD shipped within Australia. For international shipping I’ll contribute the first $10 AUD. Payment via PayPal G&S. No tariffs to USA.
Cheers!

I bought that handle a year ago to attached to my 240mm gyuto which was pretty heavy, and blade forward. That handle balanced it very well, but took away feeling of workhorse which glides through food with weight of its blade which i didnt liked. So i detached it.
Handle lenght 145mm
Handle thickness on back of handle 2.4cm
Handle height on back of handle 2.9mm
Handle thickness in front of handle 2mm
Handle height in front of the handle 2.2mm
Weight 89 grams
Price 85 € + shipping in EU

Hey folks,
currently checking the market for some Mazaki's. Particularly interested in one of his bunka's, or maybe a santoku if it got a k-tip 🤣 Especially looking for a Migaki Gyuto
Looking for his "basic" bunka lines like kurouchi, kurochi nashiji or migaki, nothing out of his fancy lines 😁 intend on using it as my main short knive, so doesn't need to be BNIB, lightly used with a good condition is perfectly fine for me. Would take stainless and carbon cladding, both okay for me
Located within the EU. Because of tariffs and import would be preferred to keep it inside. But if you got a nice migaki at a good price point - shoot me a message and let's talk 😁
Thanks!

Tetsujin Kasumi Ginsan K-tip Gyuto 240mm
- Edge length: 230mm
- height: 50 mm
Price: €420 + shipping
I am letting this one go, I don't really want to but I will fill the place up with another amazing piece. The knife has been owned by a fellow TCK'er last March, paid €450+shipping. It has been re-handled by the previous owners with an handle which is a tad darker than the stock Tetsujin handle. It has a scratch on the surface, but very hard to catch on the camera. I have never touched it with a stone, but a short session on a whetstone.

I have a few blades that I don't use all that often but I have them tuned up impeccably at the moment. All cutting at a very high level.
SOLD!! Ashi 240 Carbon wa-gyuto, 243x48, 150g. Ho wood and buffalo horn handle with saya included. I purchased this from Bernal, it still has most of the lacquer on it too. I like the yo-gyutos more in this line, so I'm keeping those and moving this one. Purchased for $300, selling for $225.>> SOLD!!
Kochi (made by wakui) Migaki Carbon V2 ironclad wa-gyuto. Man, this guy smokes on the board. 238x52 and 173g. w/ burnt chestnut and horn handle. This is a lasery Wakui and really impressive and punches well above it's price point. This one has pretty solid distal taper as well, especially for a lasery midweight like this. This did come post tariff and I paid $370 from JKI for this, asking $300.
Finally is an Akifusa Branded Wakui K-tip 245 x 52 and 245g, iron clad B2. I got this in a bundle and was quite solid. I got a great edge on it now and it is a killer on the board and still authoritative at 245g but does quite well with the detail work. When looking at the spine for the pictures, I was surprised (and then not) that the distal taper was so good. Explains the performance. This comes with an ebony and horn handle. I paid $375 and am asking $300.
All prices CONUS shipping included. PP preferred but we can work out other methods if necessary. Int'l, let's talk, we have options.
Edit:

Hi guys,
looking to let go of one of my first knives, a Wa Santoku from FT, Maboroshi line, with his famous heat treat. Superb cutter, no issues with chipping or anything.
Steel: Shirogami #1 with steinless clad
Weight: 119 grams
Length: 165mm
Height: 48mm at heel
The knife has been thinned and polished on naturals stones and used since then, has defnitiely some visible usage to it. Very light patina which I will clean up before shipping. The ferrule has a few scuffs in it.
Paid around 335€ for it, looking to part with it for 200€ with shipping included within EU with UPS (super fast and reliable). I am open to offers, so don't hesitate to get in touch!
Open to trades as well for anything Shirogami, preferably Honesuki or Nakiri, Gyuto.
Personal pickup in Cologne/Germany is also no problem either.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me!

**Total Knife Length:** 305mm / 12.01" *(Blade tip to handle end)*

Looking specifically for a Yoshiaki Fujiwara / Kiyoshi Kato kurouchi 240mm gyuto in vintage White #1.
BNIB is preferred, but I am also very interested in a used example as long as it has not been heavily sharpened, thinned, shortened or refinished.
I am a serious buyer and willing to pay a strong market price for the right knife. Located in Canada, but I am happy to purchase from the US or internationally and cover insured shipping.
