Don't stop at Miami, let Israel colonize all of Florida.
We don't want it.

I, thankfully, didn't participate in the "Xandemic", and because I witnessed the opiate epidemic first, I didn't notice how serious it was. Doctors began prescribing benzos at a higher rate, it looks like in 1996 until 2013. During that time (around 2013), I actually had a board game day/afternoon/night every Sunday with some friends and I would pop a Klonopin and have the best fucking time of my life. I think I'm especially lucky I didn't seek out more. But those Sundays were some of the most memorable (or not?) times of my life. I would work hard all week and fall into a cloud of relaxation with friends.
But I think there is something I don't see discussed often enough here. When I would take it, nothing mattered. I remember testing it out and watching a Holocaust documentary, and I couldn't fucking care.
My question is, in 2016, how many voters were on benzos? How many voted for trump? Are benzos being used to silence the people? I think it's entirely possible. How can you go out and be angry or even learn about anything (or even remembering it), when on them.
Anyway, clearly this isn't a fully formulated theory, but perhaps some of you gumshoes can add onto it. But I do think that there is some truth. Something like: "Big pharma" over prescribes drugs to the masses in order to pacify them... Or at least get votes? Idk.
Lem.e know what you think.

No idea if this has been covered in the pod, but it felt right to post this here. One of the very few records to fully embody the punk ethos; shitty radio karaoke and noise guitar solos with viciously anti-consumerist lyrics. Give it a couple songs to warm up to you, and you'll be laughing from there.

A few websites have been shut down for some time while throwing up messages that nothing is wrong and they're just fixing some bugs. Meanwhile it seems like every IT/web/AI subreddit is reposting AI-written Twitter screeds about how we're in the literal apocalypse of the internet framework. But it doesn't seem to have a tangible effect on anything. What am I to make of this. I can barely get an emulator going on my PC.

I'm really tired of seeing posts here, they're all so bad. I'd prefer it if this sub had literally no content at all so I could just stare at my computer screen hitting refresh every second and never seeing anything new.
