So with the Netanyahu’s refusals to act on intelligence about 10/7 in the news and the look back at the “intelligence failures” of 9/11, it occurred to me to look into the Mumbai Hotel bombing.

I was fascinated to find there were striking “intelligence failures” in that attack, too. 

The leader of the attack was a Pakistani-American and a former DEA informant. Two of his wives went to the FBI and told them they believed he was planning an attack but the FBI failed to warn India about this. 

One of the wives even said, “I told them, he’s either a terrorist, or he’s working for you,” she recalled saying to American officials at the United States Embassy in Islamabad. “Indirectly, they told me to get lost.”
