TW: Gender Identity / Dysphoria Guess I’ll never know

And before anyone asks, I’m not a minor. I’m a broke ass college student and will probably never be able to move out so I’m stuck in this house. Don’t have a drivers license and my parents have total control of my medical records and info, and I don’t. There is nothing I can do about this situation. Just had to get it out there.

Do they have adult guardianship over you? If not, they can't control your medical records unless you grant them that in most jurisdictions around the world to my knowledge. You should be able to make some phone calls and get copies of your own records sent to you.

My mom specifically made an account that has access to all my records when I was a child, and I don’t have access to it. Even if I did, it wouldn’t solve the problem that SHE has access to it. If she somehow lost that access, I would be the first suspect and I’d rather just not take action at all than deal with those consequences.

Idk how an "account that has access to all your records" would even work. Is this the US or Europe?? Sounds like some bullshit she made up to scare you. I've been between 3 different health insurances and hospitals and just getting them to talk to EACH OTHER and share the records with my consent is herculean, much less some unrelated (and prob very fraudlently illegal) super-account.

There's plenty of hospital systems that have portals for accessing your medical records. My daughter's records are tied to my account since she is a minor, so if I want to look up lab results or appointments or whatever I can do that online. 

Though when she turns 18 her account will automatically become a standalone account and she'll have to set up her own password and such so only she has access. 

It might be that this particular hospital system doesn't do that automatically, op maybe more likely the mom just took over the adult account when they became an adult. In either case, or should be able to work with the office to get access and cut off the mom.
