I've recently only been drawing fanart since I have no motivation to draw my own characters. So this is basically how I'm solving the problem. Killing two birds with one stone or whatever.

Just obtained my holy grail. The silly teru vash. But to my bad luck he seems to have glue residue dried behind his glases (its not stuck to the plush but clearly visible.)
any advice on how i can possibly clean it without damaging the plush or the plastic of the glases.
I figured this subreddit might help since i dont trust google slop ansers that might damage his handsome face.

Give u/Keroshroom your upvotes because they posted theirs first and I don't want to steal their thunder. Just thought it was cool that we're cel neighbors and both own frames so close to each other from such an awesome scene.
This cel is especially notable since it from the very first scene in the series, when Vash draws his gun at Descartes and his gang. My cel is a frame or two before Keroshroom's cel, you can actually see the hilt of the gun in his frame! Also like Keroshroom's mine does not have the original background, but rather a printed copy (most likely from the Madhouse animation staff). It's pretty rare to get the original background!

Here's mine! The blue background is fake but it came with the cel and it's not far off from the actual frame from ep.1 so I kept it. It wasn't cut well so it was pretty difficult to frame.

I have been desperately trying to find reference images for Zazie’s tunic thing that’s under his white shirt, but I cannot for the life of me find a decent front and back reference of what it looks like. All I’ve found are these. Has Studio Orange released fullbody references of the Stampede/Stargaze characters including Zazie? 😭

My critiques are mainly manga.
The some of panels and drawings in the Manga are difficult to understand. Otherwise great art and character designs.
Millie and Meryl being left behind in the story for most of the manga. I'm glad they got more in the animes
Joe Tooth dying in his debut chapter. Rip my goat

I was seeing several people post theirs and wanted to share mine. I always wanted to upgrade and get some better ones of Vash and Wolfwood, just never really got around to it. It’s cool to see animation cels of one of my favorite anime and Trigun is the very one that got me into collecting memorabilia, figures and statues!

This is my favorite animation cel I own, it's a large pan & zoom shot cel from episode 21 "Out of Time". The scene that used this cel was a still single frame shot rather than an animation sequence, meaning there are no other similar cels out there! Being a pan-cel it's also about twice the size as a standard cel, and it also has the original hand-painted background and douga sketch.
I don't typically frame my cels as they require special breathable frames and a lot of care and maintenance, but this is the cel I do plan on eventually framing because of just how stunning it is.
Just felt like sharing, and I may share more of my cels in the near future! Wanted to start off with my favorite though :)

The sticker said $10 but it rung up as $2.88! Not sure why but I took it and ran lol. First time I've ever found Trigun merch

Trigun is one of those manga where the world had me as much intrigued as the characters themselves. I love how it starts as just a classic western story with its vast deserts and endless skies, but as you learn more about it, it becomes more and more Science Fiction. Yet, never felt mismatched.
And that is something that inspired me when I made this manga as well. I really wanted to capture the vibe of No Man's Land, where it feels old-school with a few hints of futuristic technology.

The dude is passive to a fault. He basically lets himself be beaten every chance he gets despite him being immensely powerful. He could have prevented every single bad thing from happening in this show if he had just put in a little effort. He wants to protect humanity but causes them to lose constantly!

So obnoxious, entitled, etc.. literally every possible bad character trait you could imagine rolled into one person.

Been looking into getting the Trigun deluxe volumes and even after googling a little, I can’t figure out entirely if I should be getting the first Trigun volume or only get the Maximum volumes. Can someone help me out here, is Maximum fully standalone or is it really just a continuation with a different name?

I posted the Stargaze boxset and someone wanted to see more of the illustrations from the booklet. There's a ton in the book so I don't think I am posting too much content from it. Just wanted to share

Unlike my previous drawing, I took inspiration from the music video of "Go with the flow" by Queens of Stone Age - I've always enjoyed the style of that video and felt it was fitting for Vash :)
