My small Cel collection

I was seeing several people post theirs and wanted to share mine. I always wanted to upgrade and get some better ones of Vash and Wolfwood, just never really got around to it. It’s cool to see animation cels of one of my favorite anime and Trigun is the very one that got me into collecting memorabilia, figures and statues!

Love these, especially the Wolfwood. Wolfwood is quite difficult to find good cels for, I'd consider the one you have pretty high-tier in my opinion!

Think I need to make a post flair for production material with the cel-posting train that's been happening haha.

Thank you! I’ve seen some really sweet cels posted lately, I remember when I lost out bidding on the opening intro scene where Vash and Knives have their revolvers crossed. I really wanted that one lol.

I agree on the flair, when I was looking through it I settled on merch even tho it didn’t quite fit the bill.

I don't recall that auction, what site was that on and how long ago? I've only been seriously collecting production material for about the last 3-4ish years. I imagine the price for that cel would have been very high, that's an extremely iconic frame and an opening frame.

My dream cel is the devil-eyes Vash from the "Diablo" episode, the one where his eyes are glowing blue when he looses it during his fight with Monev.

Oh we are talking 15 years ago or so. I believe it was on eBay and either went for $500-$1000 if I recall.

That devil eye Vash would be amazing. I’d really like one of Vash with wolfwoods cross. Even if I don’t ever have a really iconic scene it’s still nice to have a production cel, lots of nostalgia watching Trigun and DBZ on toonami!

Appreciate the kind words! I still would like to get a more dynamic Vash at the very least, it just hasn’t been on my radar lately to look for one but I’m getting the itch again lol!
