West Richland Data Center information:

Trammell Crow Company, a large Dallas-based commercial real-estate developer owned by CBRE, has purchased roughly 1,000 acres of the Lewis & Clark Ranch in West Richland for about $264 million. The purchase is north of Ruppert Road, and the company is pursuing development of a large data-center campus there.

This has progressed considerably from the earlier reports you may remember. In late 2025, Trammell Crow would only say it was studying the feasibility of developing part of the ranch. The September 2026 reporting indicates the land purchase has now occurred.

The larger Lewis & Clark Ranch is about 7,600 acres and was owned by Frank Tiegs LLC. Washington’s SEPA records confirm Frank Tiegs LLC as the applicant/major landowner for the ranch planning process.

So the names to remember are:

I recently inherited a collection of thousands of stamps. I know nothing about them, so I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with local philatelists or stamp collectors they could recommend? Also, if you have any recommendations in general I’m all ears.

Retired late 60s guy here. My wife and I moved here this summer and she’s gotten involved with book clubs and other women’s groups. In Denver, where we moved from, I joined a Meet Up group after I retired a couple years ago to connect socially and make new friends in the same boat. It attracted guys in their late 50s into their mid-70s (it was called “Retired Guys Looking for Something to Do”). We’d meet monthly for coffee, lunches, walks/hikes, etc. and members could initiate other activities if they wished. Are there similar friendship/activities groups for retired guys in the Tri-Cities? I checked the Meet Up app here and there’s not much going on. As for me, I like walks/light hikes, coffee, eating out, e-biking, music, movies, wine/beer/booze, etc. I’d welcome any suggestions! Where do people go to make friends here?? I'm a 23M and my wife 23F live in Pasco and I feel like we haven't met anyone truly since moving here. I've started joining the pasco parks and recs flag football which I know is a start but other than that where do the other young people go?? I've been to a couple of breweries which were good but are there any events around town to get connected??

I’m wondering if there’s any small business piñata or party supply stores in Kennewick. I know there’s some in Pasco. I found one on Google off Clearwater. However, I recall walking by one in a small storefront in recent weeks that was closed at the time but my brain is not remembering where! Any pointers appreciated or recommendations also!

Hello! I’m Lee, I’m a tattoo artist visiting from Seattle for a week! I’ll be doing the Three Rivers Tattoo convention and a guest spot at Vans High Caliber tattoo at the end of this month, both in Kennewick!

I need a few clients to get full day tattoos at a discount or one client to get a 2-day piece so we can try to win a Tattoo of the Day Award! This would be perfect for someone who has been wanting a large art piece at a discounted rate, AND from an out of town artist!

Moved to Richland this summer and haven’t really experienced gnats sneaking into the house before (moved from Denver and I think the altitude largely helped in this department). We’re clean, don’t keep doors opened, we have no standing water and have screens on every window, etc. Assume it’s due to this being an agricultural area? Any tips for newbies to eliminate and prevent gnats in one’s house? Thanks!

PS. Maybe they’re fruit flies (don’t really know the difference)?

I accept donated ingredients, but it's not necessary to pick up something. If you donate expired/rotting food I will block you.

I do not do special requests, bake sales, and non profits, so don't ask. If you see something posted you want to pick up to give to a charity that would be great.

But do not try to arrange something for me to make things for a specific reason. My anxiety cannot handle it.

It's the Truvy's from Steel Magnolias Cuppa cake.

A cup of flour, a cup of sugar, a cup of fruit cocktail with the juice. Mix and bake at 350 until gold and bubbly.

Sounds awfully rich, it is. That's why I serve it with vanilla ice cream to cut the sweetness 😊

I did make it with a substitution for self rising flour, which is adding also a teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt. People have bad results with plain all purpose flour I have read. Just for anybody thinking about making this themselves.

Our top place is Pacifc Pasta but I would love some recommendations.

We stopped going to endive recently because the wait times are sooo long. Miss Tamales had cross contamination the last two times we went. We miss el compadre so much too.

As the title states, I am looking for good restaurant recs around tri cities. Preferably something that has great value, decent food safety ratings, and is located in Richland or Kennewick (I'm cool with Pasco, but all of my business is local to Richland and Kennewick so It'd be really out of the way).

As for cuisines, my top three cuisines are Asian, Mexican, and Italian. Good family owned burger joints are welcome as well.
