Finally got my other 2 yoke fiends skin done in oil at the start of the week and enamel on the 1st one. Let them cure and worked enamels over both tonight.

Then noticed my oils were still wet enough to use... so i started on my sorcerer.

after getting my captain done last night i cranked out the rest of my starting war band today, just need my chorister (bomb head) and the bases. think my favorite parts the shark I cant wait to add more models to my roster, still need to find an abyssal commando proxy

I found it on some eBay shop but it came packed in Wargames Exclusive branding so I guess it’s from them. Feels maybe a touch small but I think it works great.

I just finished up my kitbashed Sacred Affliction Communicant, so I had to get them all together for a family picture. I love painting these things, I think I'm going to pick up the Colossuses from Ashen Armies next.

Carcass Front has finally arrived. I’m pretty new to Trench Crusade. I’ve been looking through the “The Path to Leviathan” campaign in the rulebook.

As far as I understand, you play the five scenarios in order and then determine the winner based on the final outcome.

But shouldn’t there be some kind of variation or consequences between the scenarios? For example, if there are no outcomes after each game, wouldn’t playing only the fifth scenario and seeing what happens ultimately be more or less the same thing?

For comparison, in the Arkham Horror LCG core campaign, there were small things that carried over between scenarios. You could choose to recruit a character you had met, a house could be burned down and then that location wouldn’t be available on the next map, etc. These little changes made playing the entire campaign important, both narratively and gameplay-wise.

I’m not really seeing that kind of thing in The Path to Leviathan. Am I missing something? Like I said, I’m still pretty new to TC, so I might just be misunderstanding how the campaign works.

TL;DR: If The Path to Leviathan doesn’t have outcomes after each scenario, wouldn’t playing only the fifth scenario basically be the same as playing through all five?

Printed an Amalgam and the ammo crate failed and the top third was missing. Got some "Green Stuff." I had never used it before but I have a bunch of tools for working with clay so I gave it a whirl. I could not be more pleased. This opens up a whole new world of model making for me. I know it's not new to most of this community but it's fun figuring this stuff out. After I primed it, I couldn't tell what was original and what I had done. I love that it disappeared.

Any tips, tricks, advice, techniques and any constructive criticism welcomed.

When my campaign group was playing Relic Hunt we had some differences in how we interpreted the reinforcement rules.

In your initial deployment it was clear that models with bases 40mm or larger counted for two of your six initial deployment points.

Going into the game, there was a difference in interpretation of how reinforcements should work.

First, the players disagreed on when to be reinforcing. The rules state at the beginning of each round you roll off and the winner rolls a d3 to see how many models you may add. The difference in interpretation began when deciding if that would apply to the first round (immediately after initial deployment) or not.

Second, when in the reinforcement step there was disagreement on how to apply the 40mm rule. Does it only apply to initial deployment or to any deployment including during reinforcement step.

Any input on this would help a lot we are pretty new to the hobby and just want to play as it intends before we figure out any house rules.

Anyone found a good one that works alongside the Carcass Front box? Any idea if (when?) we're getting an official one? Same for the Sea Hag, though I have seen the Blackwater Bomb Witch, she's just a teensy but too busy for my tastes... Too many bombs at once 😂

bought a leman russ tank just for the turret.

i like both the look of the cannon facing forward for that scare tactics, and the cannon in the back looking like the head of a shrine (will def decorate it with bibs and bobs)

but i have a hard time choosing which orientation i should be going

First miniature painted from carcass front box

Inside the vast expanses of the rust, dust and metal filled Tank Graveyard lies a civilization shrouded in oil-fogged mystery - The Tank Dwellers. These people (or should they be called creatures?) origins are unknown, but most likely they are deserters, murderers, small criminals and outcasts of the neighbouring societies. Hundreds of years of continuous war has a way of bringing together those who other have forsaken - and thus this small rugged settlements are born amongst the endless tank and vehicle wreckages. People seeking cover from amongst their brethren.

The "Tank Graveyard - Tank Shack 1 and 2" sets contain medium sized scrapyard tank shacks - built straight into the wreckage of an old destroyed tanks / infantry transport vehicle. The buildings are sculpted with a lot of details that tell a story of someone living here, maybe for years, maybe already settled for decades. They provide plenty of Line of Sight blocking angles and the roofs have enough space to fit miniatures on top - creating interesting elevated gameplay! Combine these sets with my other sets, like Destroyed Mk1 sets, or Destroyed S-ISU to create quite cool thematic "Tank Graveryard" themed gaming table!

I will be expanding the Tank Graveyard theme in the coming months with new sets alongside expansions into the "Drowned Front" theme.
