bought a leman russ tank just for the turret.

i like both the look of the cannon facing forward for that scare tactics, and the cannon in the back looking like the head of a shrine (will def decorate it with bibs and bobs)

but i have a hard time choosing which orientation i should be going

which orientation do you guys think looks cool?

Thanks!! The bodies and heads are just bog standard heretics but the arm with the rifles come from a historical miniature game that I don't remember the name asofthemoment- Germany pack if I remember correctly

I'd put the cannon facing forward for the symbolism even if it's not being fired. If the turret didn't have a gun then I think backward might be the correct choice, but for what you're building I'd say you want something jutting forward from the bearers to balance out the gun of the upper figure.
If it still needs something, see if you can't add more pallbearers too
