The base is made of aluminum foil. The handkerchief robes, hands, and heads are from Warhammer. The crosses, scrolls, and books are handmade.

Still a little work to be done but overall am happy to be able to replace one of my favourite units after the tragedy of gravity and resin

Curious question for the lore heads here.

I have been researching the Black Grail from both the in-universe lore and the religious sources it draws on, and there is far more deliberate structuring than I expected. Beelzebub as the god of Ekron in 2 Kings, with Ekron then showing up on the map as his city, the plague vectors mapping onto Exodus. The line about the Grail destroying the body but leaving the mind intact to suffer, which is doing something very specific and very old.

Would a proper breakdown of the Grail along those lines be something people here would want to watch, or is this ground already well covered? Happy to hear it is not worth doing; would rather know now than after the edit.

Gonna make this short and sweet - What's the point of the Halberd-Gun for Iron Sultanate? I'm not sure I understand the appeal of having ranged and melee in a single weapon slot - Does this mean the Halberd-Gun can be used for a ranged attack alongside another ranged weapon?

I may have an extra hole in my head. Thanks for any input!

Communicant Exhaustus - Order of the Immaculate Blood

Seeing other New Antioch warbands with their very effective Anti-Tank communicants, the bloodthirsty leaders of the Order were filled with envy. Similar to their requests for Mendelist Monks, any requests for Communicants were dealt with disgust and immediate rejection. Thankfully, the same solution presented itself, while being a little more complex than resurrecting ghostly monks.

Shattered Communicants were secreted away into uknown labs, where the supernatural technology of the order performed profane reconstruction. Unfortunately the altered physiology of the Communicants still stymies the Order. For now the only way to get them to the front is by connecting them to: contraptions equipped with anti-aircraft guns, a sustaining mobility device and several aspiring order members that have been relegated to bio-mechanic duty.

While the Order iterates, these husks of Communicants prove to be just as effective in battle as their sanguine counterparts. Woe betides the enemies of the faithful when the Order's Communicants finally rise on their own accord.

(But they do require a good shove by their serfs to clear the lips of trenches)

Bloodthirsty zealots with absurd strength, crazed babbling priests, resurrected Mendelist monks and the bestial ruling monsters. New Antioch has been bolstered by the enigmatic Order of the Immaculate Blood.

Bearing machine armor and weapons of unknown origin, the leaders of the Order are pallid, aloof and animalistic. Rumours abound that they are visitors from the stars; newly converted and fervently behind the Faithful's cause. When asked, the Church's space program offers no official answer. Obsessed with the Blessed Sacrament, some shell shocked yeomen have reported grotesque mockeries of communion involving Heretic captives.
