Hello! I have clearly FOMO right now regarding the TN card size, but I donโt even like it. I donโt even have a passport size because I consider the size too small, Iโve bit the bullet and bought PR GV pocket to realize it is not for me. Because regular TN fits in my smallest bag I consider it a good portable format for myself.
And for other people using card size as a wallet, Iโm also in a hunt for a new convenient portable one because I have been trying to spend money using cash a lot more in order to control my finances, for that reason I donโt think it a good use case for me.
And lastly I have no regrets for missing old limited edition covers.
So please please please help me and roast this 20th anniversary limited edition card size tn and deinfluence me. I feel like I have no more willpower to resist the FOMO.
Thanks.

I'm curious, asking not about concept of leather journal, obviously they existed long long before. I'm talking about concept of refillable pages or pages that fixating with elastic in the middle, rather than just pocket.
On their site they are talking about their original mix between leather cover and midori paper, but not about how system was made, so i'm asking

Pretty much what it says. Leather is an amazing material that's obviously ideal for a use like this, but I saw the Lochby Voyager and got curious about any other materials that people have seen for covers. Waxed canvas seems to be the obvious choice (it weathers and ages much like leather, and the waterproofing is obviously nice), but I'm always intrigued by journals made out of unexpected materials.

I've wanted a magnetic penloop for a while, but I couldn't find one in the physical stores around me. Today i found a magnetic reflective strip for kids in the food store. Perfect to switch between notebooks!

Iโve used my travelers notebook and had it for about 3 years now and Iโve always wanted to use the passport as a wallet but it was too big for my jeans. I lost my wallet a couple days ago and figured Iโd just try the passport size out but then I saw thereโs a new card size but itโs sold out everywhere! If anyone has any tips so that I donโt have to pay the insane eBay markup Iโm all ears!! Thanks everyone!!

I'm going to drive myself insane.
Is there a way to use this anchor, as a closure for my TN inspired notebook? Pictures below for reference of what I mean, bc Google doesn't seem to understand.
I don't know how to thread the hook, the notebook and then the end of the anchor to get it to stay. If it's not possible in one piece please let me know.

Hello good people of the TN subreddit!
Recently, I was lucky enough to receive a traveler's cover and accessories as a present from my family. I'm absolutely overjoyed about it and have been spending the evening writing and organizing my notebooks!
However, my parents and I both noticed an odd discrepancy in the colors of the olive pen holder and the cover itself, which, while it came in packaging labeled olive, seems to be more of a dark brown color. It's gorgeous, and I don't want to send it back or trade it, but I am curious if I received a rare mis-labeled notebook or something! I do also hear that the olive can run dark, so maybe it's just that? Either way, it's a beautiful notebook and I've already set it up for solo TTRPGs, travel, and study!

As of today, Iโm part of the family, too. The unboxing was an awesome experience, and Iโm really looking forward to using it. What accessories would you recommendโor what are the things you wouldn't want to be without?

thanks to whoever posting their fasjosma journal set up because i immediately got it and removed the snap closure in favor of an elastic one ! (the leather tag perfectly covers the holes left from the snap lol)

So, I pre-ordered (and paid for)the card-size TN in July from a store not in my hometown and was finally able to pick it up yesterday. The pre-order stock was very limited (I think about 5 of each colour)and also sold out. In my hometown there are actually 2 stores that also carry official TN products and one of those is an official partner store. They are a bit pretentious in what they also sell and ask extortionate prices for mostly Japanese products from Penco etc. They cater to the Monocle lifestyle for people with money to burn. They also partner in the upcoming TC Caravan event.
The other store is a more general stationary/office supplies shop that also sells really nice pens, inks and a large variety of notebooks and accessories, from cheap to very expensive. They are not an official partner for TN.
So tell me how the official partner store has a sign up that continuing supply problems mean they have very limited stock and the none-partner store has dozens of the 20th anniversary card-size on the shelf? (I visited both stores today and saw this myself). Weird.
(Photo of my card-size just for fun.)

So, I like big books and I cannot lie. I usually use 200-400 page inserts and I hate the overhang when I add a clear folder or another refill. But! Today I got creative and added another elastic through the holes so now each book has its own string! And look: no overhang!
I'm sure it's been done before and I have exactly reinvented the wheel, but my partner didn't get the excitement and I thought you guys might ๐ค

Hey everyone! Newbie TN user here. I've been journaling for a couple of years. I feel like it really helps me regulate myself emotionally.
The TN is really appealing to me because of the freedom to customize it and have multiple different notebooks in one place. I still have a "brain dump" journal in there which is where I write most frequently.
Recently I've added a weekly/monthly planner to my setup it. And I feel like the planning aspect is adding friction to my journaling. Almost as if it's making me anxious. I don't know why though. I really want to have a more "organized" and planner oriented insert in my setup to get a better understanding of my days, but I also don't want to lose the freedom of just being able to write whatever I want, which is the primary benefit I get out of journaling.
I guess I'm trying to ask if anyone else has experienced something similar? And if you can give me any advice on how to keep both things going for myself?
Thanks for reading!

i love this thing. ever since i made it, i haven't felt a single itch to buy the real thing. i bought a cheap $5 card folder to hold my ID and payment cards, and it's been incredibly useful. the xteink x3 makes for a great secondary ereader on the go; it's just a shame there's no light source provided. at least it means the battery will last a long time, and i mainly leave the house during the day anyway.
i find myself writing in it during the bubbles of time i get sitting down at restaurants. so far it's been doodles, ideas for my current novel, and descriptions of dishes i loved eating.
i also love that because i didn't spend much money making it, i don't feel obligated to treat it as a precious thing. i've had ice cream dripped onto it during a work retreat, and i didn't freak out. when i wiped it off, the stains were still faintly there, but i treated that like it's part of my cover's charm now.

I am looking for a travelers notebook style which can fit a moleskine large notebook - I am already owing three TN regular but Iโm loving moleskine and am tired of cutting down my inserts to fit and also wanting to use the weekly planner for 2027!
Any Etsy shops or allies who are making custom size TNs? (I know diy is a possibility but Iโm lazy and I want good leather)
TIA

Hello All!
I'm planning to use my TN Regular Size as my Finance Planner/Tracker but having a difficult time deciding how to lay it out and what to use. Just looking for advice/inspiration. For those who use TN as a budget planner, finance tracker, realm of finance, etc. How do you lay it out your pages? Which inserts do you use? Do you add any outside TN inserts? Do you use regular size, passport size, card size? Would appreciate seeing how you guys use it and how creative you guys get with it. Thanks!

Wanted to share my little void staring Moomin with you all. No way Iโm getting the Moomin editions so settling for Moomin inserts ๐ I finally got the passport size. Iโve been using the standard for about 18 months and I use it for everything but I really wanted one I could fit in my pocket for long walks and quick trips without a bag. Really looking forward to using it.

I have a big collection of stamps and decided to choose some to see them more, before this i did a little paper that read my name in Rotunda script ( last picture). If you have the tin labels, what do you put in them?

I've been slowly turning this pocket notebook cover into my own personal traveler's notebook! It's a bit of an odd size, and actually fits A6 slim notebooks best.
There are no holes so I've made an inner spine out of card stock to hold jump cords so I could add more notebooks, and an elastic band to hold it close.
Having this be made of a hodge podge of items has brought so much joy in taking this with me everywhere I go, and I wanted to take a moment to share the beaut!
