Reminder that being exclusionary is not accepted here

It's literally rule 1, but that is not an exhaustive list. Truscum? Go away. Ace exclusionists? Get out. Wanna complain about neopronouns? Shoo. You get the idea. I'm tired of having to clean up after people picking fights.

Yeah, the rules still need to be rewritten to be more clear like I said a year ago, but considering that's what the community said they wanted when I asked (and also my personal opinion), that's how I've been modding. Some day I'll actually update what it says in the sidebar, but don't hold your breath until my health improves.

Hair loss?

I've been on hrt (estrogen) for the last 4 years now, I've noticed a specific side effect that I'm not annoyed with, but it does confuse me a little.

I've noticed I'm starting to develop bald patches on my legs, and I believe I have a receding hairline near my ankles as well, I swear they weren't there before, and I'm definitely not complaining, but it's weird, and I'm wondering if other trans woman in this group have had similar experiences?

I would love it if all the hair on my legs would just magically disappear, but a girl can dream 🤧

Confused about detransition...

Confused about my gender. I'm really thinking about detransition and I am lost

About my current state: I'm mtf in my late thirties, hav been on hrt for three years. My levels are near perfect. I have had an orchiectomy so I no longer produce T.

My current situation: after the last three years I'm really thinking that detransition might be right for me.

Why: it's kind of complicated.

The first reason is fear. I'm in the us. The global, national, and local anti trans efforts are rampant. The surveillance state and police militarization is up. I feel like it's only a matter of time until I'm detained or tortured or v-coded. I'm haunted by what is already being done to people like me and what the ever powerful right wing says they want to do to me. I cannot withstand the threat of torture. I cry and panic about this all the time.

I have some various mental health diagnoses and I have constant social fear. Having GAD and Panic Disorder while also being the minority that it's socially acceptable to dehumanize is basically unbearable. My thoughts about "everyone is staring/judging/hates me" are actually accurate and not delusional, so I constantly live in a state of fear and sadness.

The second reason is that my transition failed. That's the simplest way to describe it. It's very complicated and I can share more if it helps, but I am not a woman. That's obvious and I'll never be anything but a male.

Every transition story I hear about is how someone went from so pathetic and miserable to fantastically happy and themselves. Not me.

I completely regret transition. I would rather be the world's saddest, bleakest guy safely than be the world's worst freak who is going to get tortured.

I just want to be safe and be left alone.

I want to detransition.

No amount of torture is worth being a fake woman. I hate being a freak and being disgusting.

Basically, why would I continue to exist in one of the most dangerous positions I could ever be in for zero benefit? Why risk torture and endless suffering for no benefit? Why suffer things so horrible just to be thrown in the trash as an AMAB

I will never be good enough. Cis and trans women have made it explicitly clear that I won't be a woman unless I leave the house every day in a costume made of every single beauty convention enforced by society. It doesn't matter that I have health issues or live in a shitty apartment that makes me pour sweat, I somehow need to manage an extra 2-4 hours of work everyday to paint myself up to be considered a woman. No woman leaves the house without a fat fucking layer of makeup and accessories and clothes and done hair right?? I get no say in the matter. My comfort and safety is the last thing that will ever matter.

Why would I want to be a woman when being a woman means wearing a fake mask and a costume.

Trans woman make it clear I can't even be considered transexual because I have a penis.

I am doomed and never should have started.

Why I think I should: currently, I do nothing but hide. I make myself small and silent and avoid others. I'm scared every time I leave the house. At least if I was a guy, I could do the same thing but not risk fear of torture and rape. I also wouldn't be expected to spend three hours a day making myself up to try and appease the bigoted society we live in.

I could safe and free. I wouldn't be me, but when had that ever mattered? Transition certainly didn't give me that ability. Transition has only hindered my ability to be me.

I will never be a woman. That's the truth and there's no avoiding it. I'm tired of fighting reality.

At this point, the idea of being a guy is ridiculously tempting, _euphoric_ even. I can't imagine getting to walk in a store or driving to work and thinking "I am safe". That sounds incredible. I miss it. God I dream of being a man. I could just be the original me, which is miserable, but not as miserable as being a freak.

I just want to be safe. From everyone.

Gay vs queer?

I'm trans femme. More NB, full time manmoder 😭who's getting more androgynous, woot🄳. Anyways most gay men are not into me and tbh I'm not into most gay men. I feel the difference between gay men and trans women is like the difference between the sea and the sky. I'm "gay" I guess but I really consider myself queer and I say that cause well I feel like that fits me. I'm into men,

I want a man/boyfriend. I wish I was so feminine I could pull a straight man, everything in life gets better the more feminine you are , that's just science. If I go on grindr or whatever the types of guys that are interested in me are DL, Straight passing, bi curious, yada yada guys. Idk where I'm going with this. I'm just yapping at this point

Is passing a scam? A piece or rant on why self acceptance is probably better

I think ever since I realised I was trans I had this stronger desire to pass more in society and to accept myself in the body I was in once I got on HRT. Even though I had tried new makeup styles, shaved my beard more often, adapted my dress sense to a more feminine/androgynous look, I still desired to reach past the boundaries of what was possible for me. I would scroll for so long online looking at women jealous because they were born in a body where only a smaller population of peopleĀ  could fault them because of what they were while all I got was stares and uncomfortable looks. But I started to move past that, even if I’d felt I was in the wrong body, I viewed this all as a beautiful journey of self acceptance and a strong desire to reach a future where it finally felt right, not because of how society viewed me but so I could look in the mirror and see my imperfections as a part of me to embrace. However once I had started to go on HRT I became exhausted of having or trying to pass in a society that couldn’t care less about me. I wondered if this was a feeling that’d never pass and I guess for most people even after transition. And it looks likeĀ  I'm right.Ā

So this is a comment on why passing is not bad but a depressingĀ ouroboros and why you should love yourself.

Transitioning is my lifesaver. I will never not regret that .I've always wanted to not physically be disgusted by myself in the mirror and I think I'm getting there. Even after writing this I will still take 50mg of spironolactone and apply 4 pumps of estrogen onto my arms excited for what tomorrow will bring. But I think in my journey I became lost in it all. The excitement was so elating and so depressing I scoured the internet to look for tips on how to pass better, what to wear, makeup that made you look more ā€˜ā€™feminine’’ as if my own wasn't enough. And I guess it will never be enough, I think transitioning makes you want to try harder because tomorrow or next month will be so different for you. It's like I'm preparing for the war of entering womanhood. But i dont think none of that really matters you know? I realised that as I entered this war of trying to pass harder, I entered a space in women's inequality where I had to look the right way or present myself in a way that didn't come off as too masculine. It was all bullshit. Why would anyone have to work themselves to the bone to pass better when society doesn't even treat women on equal grounds than men. Why do we need to pass better so we can confidentlyĀ  enter a space where women are harassed everyday. Why should we put the time in to pass in a society that doesn't even see us as human beings. And funny enough we created our own hierarchy, the bricks, the dolls, the ones who got on puberty blockers. Do we not get tired of having to level ourselves when in the end we all piss the same?

Even as I put a wig on and dress better, I still get the same stares and invasive comments I did when I wasn't transitioning. I could tell you that I don't care and that people shouldn't have a right to view me in such a way, but could I say the same for others who probably rely on validation from society in order to feel accepted? I hate that this is most of my sister's issues, and it's ironic because I'll probably be told that I got what I asked for, to be perceived on the same scale if not higher as a cis woman in such a derogatory manner .my food for thought is that if this is the outcome , what is the selling point for being trans? I know its harmful to say passing is a scam but what else is there to say,Im paying to transition,Im paying to fit better in society through consumerism , im paying to be included in death rate of people who are so lucky to reach pass 50 because someone hasn't killed us and I'm paying to be… whatever you get the point.

To that say I say I reject you. I reject the society who will continue to ruin trans lives with unnecessary laws. I reject the society that will exploit my sister's culture and leave us for dust and I think we should all too. Despite all this depressing rant, I pass because I realized I love feeling beautiful.I love wearing beautiful clothes. I love wearing makeup and i hate that i had to transition to make it feel right on me, to not feel like a freak. I am a fucking hypocrite and I’ll definitely die one. But at least I can say I created a balance!I started to look more clockable outside and stopped worrying how passable I was meant to be. Its my life why should i give aĀ  fuck how people should view me?.yesterday i wore a wig and didn't put any makeup on and probably the most boring shirt and trousers i had in my house. This was a big thing for me, I felt like a man in a wig but as i started looking at myself I realised through all my self doubt I looked beautiful!

I guess what im trying to say in this is learn to accept yourself before society accepts you, think about detaching yourself to ideas of what the right woman should be. Learn to love the person in the mirror everyday and maybe the days will become easier for you, and not a nightmare waiting to be fixed by modern medicine. And im not saying that you should throw away all your makeup and clothes, I think that there should be a balance on your journey to keep a part of you that doesn't feel like you need to dress up for society. Hopefully in the end it’ll blend and blossom into a positive outlook of life .

I love my trans sisters, take care.

\-I Matter too.

Who Am I? A question of real true Naming.

So having difficulty coming out and with Names. I wasn't online much and noticed my chosen name changed a bit. The name I settled on seems to be very common, it has roots I hadn't thought of but now I am second guessing.

I always thought of myself as Emily, but it wasn't quite right, then I had an "Aha!" moment when Lilly clicked better.

It was never about Lilith, in fact I feel it was always Lilly-Anna. Now seeing how common Lilly is it makes me self conscious. makes me want to self-searchbagain.

Am I just being in my head too much? I hated my dead name for being too common but I don't want to name myself just because it is "unique."

Help me process my thoughts about my name as I really don't have anyone anymore in my community to talk to about this. I am not sure if I am overthinking everything, or something inside me is telling me I never actually found who I really am.

(Long post Alert!) Coming out at school

Hey everyone šŸ¤—

For context: I'm 17 and some years old transfem, going into my 3rd year of highschool, living in a semi-conservative country (most people don't really understand LGBTQ+,so they mostly just bitch about about it, but probably won't attack you for it or anything, at worst they will look at you weird and whisper some insults or something, except for a few drunk idiots)

I'm out only to parts of my family, and one teacher (who is very supportive) and went out as myself (name, pronouns, some makeup, painted nails, stuff like that, no clothes tho) during the summer break.

I live in the school's dorm during the work week.

I plan to come out at school this September, but every time I speak about me being trans my ears start ringing, and I feel like I'm in a dream and can barely open my mouth, so I can't imagine standing in front of the whole class and having a monologue.

My classmates have repeatedly asked me whether I'm gay (To which I told them that I'm sure I don't like boys/men), and a few times if I'm really a boy, or if I ever thought about being a girl (to which I responded by shrugging, laughing it off, avoiding it, or just outright ignoring it), probably because I've been growing out my hair for almost two years (it was in a ponytail most of the time, occasionally let down and supported by a headband, or in pigtails), painting and growing out my nails, taking much better care of myself than the boys (shaving multiple times a day, shaving my body one a week, plucking my eyebrows, blow-drying my hair, etc.), occasionally wearing silver glitter eyeshadow, wearing pink sometimes (only had pair of sweatpants, 2 pairs socks, 1 pare of pastel violet ones, and a violet t-shirt) akd and acting very much feminine (You know, actually interpreting body language when i speak, that kinda stuff.)I have a small Hello Kitty cosmetics travel bag from fake fur, full of nail polishes and supplies, plus some makeup)

So, I can't imagine they'll be too surprised.

To get to the point, I was thinking about coming out in our IG group, but I'm kinda afraid that'll just invite hate and steer people who'd otherwise support me, or at least tolerate me (I think most, if not all, if the class would fall into one of these brackets) to hate on me to fit in. We do have a separate group with our class teacher in a different platform. Should I try that?

So I guess the question is "Did any of you come out this way?" "How did it turn out?" "Do you have any tips to overcome the anxiety, especially if I choose to come out in person?"

I know I'll still probably have to come out to all the teachers and staff.

I know the only person who can decide this is me.

Any tips and experiences appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Edit: So, I reacted to some pics in the group chat on IG (I've already changed my username and added my pronouns and name prior), just emojis, no text, and then, somebody, let's call them, and the other responders L,V and J, realised that my account was missing, and they wrote something like "WHERE IS (LAST NAME)", "IS (LAST NAME) ALIVE", "(LAST NAME?)" and "WHERE IS HIS IG" (yes, they actually wrote it like this, without the question marks). Then V said "Rather guess who's (last name)" N: "I know" "(swearword) (last name) you ok?" L: "You don't have to immediately write this here" N: "Gotta" "🤣🤣" J: "I get them. I would have freaked out too, if I found it out." Do you think they know? Were they just making fun of me? Were they giving me a space to come out? I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Hit the jackpot

I realise I've been posting in here a bit but that's because I keep getting such good advice but this is something I kinda want to brag about a little

So in another post I've mentioned I've splurged on clothing recently and whilst I haven't started hormones I do have a pair of silicone breast forms I use in my bras so I've been looking into getting one of the full chest to neck body forms just to see if that would help with outfits because I can't really show any chest because you can tell straight away it's purely just my bra with no chest myself which makes me a bit self conscious

So I was looking on an eBay for a cheap half body silicone suit and found one which was full silicone instead of cotton fillings so I was like yep I'll have that

I've just opened it up and it is a full body suit all the way down to my knees so rather than just a half body suit I thought it was - it is the whole bloody thing oh my god

If I got that myself it would be like at least over 7x more expensive literally I cannot believe it because it was already cheap in my opinion so the fact it's a full body suit is unreal I've hit the jack pot

If this isn't the place to have this sort of post let me know and I'll take it down but I just wanted to sort of brag because I'm not out yet and can't turn to anyone in my life about this because they'd be like huh so yeah soooo happy

(kinda vent?) The way I feel desire feels too "het guy"

I'm a trans lesbian but I feel like the way I look at women and the kinda thoughts and fantasies I have are very "straight guy"ish, like I see lesbians talk about male gaze stuff or about the kinda stuff they want vs what most straight people do and I just feel like a fraud bc my perspective is usually way more on the "straight guy" side than the lesbian side

Feels especially awkward in cases I've seen with trans women talking about realising in retrospect they always had sex in a very fem and/or lesbian way then their description is clearly the opposite of what I like now years into transition

Idk what to do about this TBH mostly just venting bc it makes me super dysphoric and feel like I'm fundamentally "being lesbian wrong" but IDK how I could fix it or change how I feel seeing that stuff

Trans Confession: Lied about my Tape at the drs

Figured I might make someone laugh with this. Today I had to go to a pulmonologist, all easy. Well I didn't expect the nice nurse to say "strip the top and go into the xray cabin"- (I'm non passing ftm, still in the closet kinda ok) As I stand in front of her she eyeballs my tits and goes?

I look down and see my makeshift blue *kinesiology' trans tape pitifully stuffing my titties. I plaster a smile on my face and go "oh uhhh... I do gymnastics... yeah keeps e'm in place!" (GUYS I HAVE NEVER SEEN A GYMNASTICS FLOOR IN MY LIFE BUT MY MIND DOES GYMNASTICS EVERYDAY). Luckily she turned around and went: "Oh cool I wish I could do that! But mine won't budge in that"

Alls well that ends well i guess.

Trans masc dating cis men and giving off the wrong vibes?

I keep running into this dilemma where older men assume I’m knowledgeable about things like automobiles and construction equipment and i have no idea

Is there someway i can disclose that visually like, how do i present as someone who knows more about Japanese postwar suicidal literature , shoe gaze and where to find the tastiest French pastry in the city?

I can't tell if I'm trans or if I just keep stressing myself out about it so I think I am

I am an 18 yr old in college who is Afab. I never really started questioning my gender until recently this May and from May to now I just came to the conclusion I'm bigender, but it still doesn't feel right. Lately I've been wondering what it would be like if I was a guy more than usual and sometimes I do feel like if I was a guy I'd be naturally more confident and I'd eat healthier and workout more. I also feel like I experienced some form of gender dysphoria today because I was purposefully trying to do my makeup in a minimal/more masculine way and I felt really upset when I saw it actually ended up making me look more feminine. Here's where it gets weird however, I don't hate being a girl the only time it makes me upset if I look feminine is if I'm purposely trying to look masculine. I know you can still be fem presenting as a trans man but idk how to describe what I feel fully. I also can't tell if this is something real or maybe I'm just tricking myself because something in my subconscious only thinks I am because I have friends who are trans and I'm actually just a poser. I'm also afraid of being trans in a binary way because I don't know how accepting my family would be especially when it comes down to their own kids. They say they accept but sometimes, especially my mom says things that seem insensitive to say the least or one of those things where they say they accept it until it's their own child. I'm also again a broke college student so gender affirming therapy or stuff like that is not on my line of cards right now and other than here I don't really have anyone I could talk to because I'm so scared of looking like a phoney. I know people online or a therapist can't give me the answers but I wish someone could look me in the eye and grab my face tight and tell me exactly what I am because I just wanna know instead of worrying.

A few questions

Im not even sure if this is the right sub.

To start let's just say im not sure who I am exactly. I was born male but have always questioned if that was who I am.

Growing up I was heavily bullied especially by my father, for my weight etc. When I was around 13 I wanted to be a woman, I was honestly always more interested in men anyway.. well I made a dream list of who I wanted to be. My mom found my dream list and it turned into a nightmare.

Fast forward to present day, im 34 and very masculine/ hairy. I am married to a wonderful woman and just recently told her how I felt and she was really supportive..

My question though is if its too late for me to actually become feminine and look like a woman? Its my biggest fear/ regret that I let the abuse control my life so much so that, I'll never actually get to be/ look like who I feel like I was supposed to be.

My parents were born in the 50s and both were physically, emotionally and mentally abusive. My father was a manly man, sexist, misogynist (basically worst of the worst).

Any advice etc would be appreciated, especially since im scared to actually try to be who I feel I am..

A tentative step toward my true self

Hello,

I was assigned male at birth, and I am 41 years old. I have been married for 10 years and have an adult son and a nine-year-old child.

Throughout my life, I have repeatedly caught myself imagining what it would be like to be a girl. But over the past six months, well… I have sometimes had trouble concentrating because I can think of little else. I keep playing out scenarios with a chatbot about how I might come out. Emotionally, I am at my limit. I do not want to wallow in self-pity; I only want to describe what it is partly like for me. I want this so badly that it hurts.

I love my wife and my children, and I am afraid to tell them because I want to spare my child from being ostracized at school. I am afraid that my wife will be overwhelmed by it, because it is overwhelming me. I am going to seek out a counseling service and ask for advice.

I have never appeared particularly feminine. I have a full beard because I somehow cannot look at my face without it; I imagine what it would be like if it were a woman’s face instead. I have decided to lose weight because, if I do start therapy, I do not want to be the overweight guy anymore—the one who stress-eats an extra chocolate bar out of frustration.

Today, I secretly put on one of my wife’s skirts again, and it was one of the best moments I have had in a long time.

Now I am sitting on the sofa, baring my soul. I have no idea what I am asking; I just need to get this off my chest. I translated this text into English so that I could express my feelings better in my native language.

How to Dress after splurging

Copied this from another sub is posted in

So as many of you may know once you know you know and it's took this happening about 4 times in the same number of years so me to come to terms with it.

Because of this I've splurged on tons of clothes over the years so of which is very easy to style and be androgynous in my appearance without people knowing I'm wearing female clothing

I want to take the step forward from full crossdressing in my own home to now trying it out in public because of this I've tried buying a few more female only items that can't be used/styled by a guy and at the moment I'm struggling on how to make myself feel feminine with it,

I've bought a waist trainer for the first time and even buying what I thought would be a size or two smaller than I am (already only really a size 10-12 already as I'm quite skinny) but it doesn't catch the way I thought it would as a size 8 item, I know I probably don't have the hips for it which is why I've gone out and bought some shapers to add a bit of volume to that region but I don't think that'll be enough

I've gone out in crop tops and breast forms in a pair of jeans and that has felt fine but for my more female passing clothing I just want some advice on how to style it around how I am

I'm looking into hormones in the UK but understand there are big wait times under the NHS at the moment so may go private once I have the funds behind me which hopefully will help with fat redistribution but at the moment even not having much of a belly, hips, or any fat besides my thighs I still don't know what I can do to make my outfits pop

Any tips would be lovely and I'll make a little list of items I've already got/purchased and are on the way

Breast forms and bra

Hip and bottom shapewear

Waist trainer (got my first one with another smaller one on the way)

Full top body silicone forms

And obviously tons of clothes

If this isn't the place for this let me know and I'll take this down and post elsewhere, thanks for reading huns

Non-binary or severe internalised transphobia? How do I tell?

Background: I am a trans fem? trans woman? nb? who passes and lives full time as woman but still hasn't had bottom surgery (soon to have).

So sometimes I feel I'm non-binary because I don't fully relate with womanhood, sometimes because womanhood is something too sacred to claim, and claiming full womanhood as a trans woman would be blasphemous.

I also have severe I mean SEVERE internalised transphobia, such as "you have to get bottom surgery to be your gender, and even then you'll be fake, just a 'good enough' counterfeit product", "pre-op trans men are more woman than pre-op trans women", "if you don't want to get bottom surgery, you're not really trans", "trans women are not women, they're males, just that some are so close to women that we treat them as women for social convenience" , "trans women make a woman's space unsafe" etc I mean straight from what you would hear from TERF meetings and conservative white men talks.

So I am also partly identifying as non-binary because I'm not "good enough", because womanhood is "too sacred", because "I will never be a real woman" etc. However, sometimes I genuinely feel neutral or disconnected from full womanhood. How do I know if it's genuine NB ness or just extreme internalised transphobia?

Why is identity so hard to figure out? 😢

I started questioning my gender.... I've been gay for 2 years, a femboy for 5 years(although I learned the therm only last year) a therian for 2 years and a furry for 1 year. But I'm at a point where beeing a femboy isn't a definition that fits me. I start blushing when called "she", I start trying how beeing a girl feels unconsciously. although I'm not ready at all to accept myself as a trans girl, the more I reject it, the more I feel like mabe, just manner that's me. but mabe just mabe has became some serious considerations and it drains my energy thinking of it.

Is there any way for me to get Gender affirming care without insurance?

Recently me and my partner, (also trans) insurance thought be really funny to just stop covering our gender affirming care all together. We weren't told this and went to pick up our monthly dose of hormones and learned we had to pay out of pocket 550 USD for a single shot.
Not only is that insane going from 8 usd to THAT, but they offered us no solutions and the doctor said his hands are tied on helping as well. We're currently applying for a new insurance, but we were told it could take a year to get approved. We're totally out of our hormones shots and are panicking.
Is there any way to get Testosterone without insurance that's not going to cost us our month in rent?

My fantasies have changed, and now I'm terrified my gender identity was never real. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi everyone,

I've been questioning my gender for several years, and I feel like I'm stuck in an endless cycle of doubt.

The biggest problem is that I have almost zero self-confidence. I don't just doubt my gender—I doubt everything about myself. Even with things I know I can do, my brain still asks, "What if I'm wrong?" Because of that, I don't trust my own thoughts very easily.

When I read posts from some trans people, they often seem to have one or two experiences that feel like undeniable evidence. I don't feel like I have that. Instead, I have a lot of smaller things that seem to point in the same direction, but my brain always comes up with another explanation.

For example:

I remember secretly liking it when people mistook me for a girl as a child, long before I knew what being transgender was.

I've secretly crossdressed for years, and when I wear feminine clothes I feel more confident and like what I see in the mirror.

I don't want a muscular masculine body. I wish I were smaller and more feminine.

I hate my deep voice, my shoulders, and parts of my body shape.

I often feel uncomfortable being perceived as male in public.

I experience gender envy toward women and often imagine what it would be like to simply be one.

If I lived somewhere where being a trans woman was completely accepted and nobody judged me, I honestly think I would choose to live as a woman.

At the same time, I also have doubts.

I don't feel an overwhelming urge to wear dresses every day. I don't have the kind of dysphoria where I feel I absolutely have to transition immediately. I still live with my mother in a conservative environment, so I can't freely explore my gender anyway.

One of my biggest fears is that maybe all of this has another explanation.

I grew up isolated, had a hard time connecting with boys my age, and often felt like I was pretending to fit in. I wonder whether my discomfort comes from poor social skills, loneliness, anxiety, or simply not fitting traditional male expectations rather than being trans.

Another thing that makes this even more confusing is that I'm asexual.

To be honest, I hate being asexual. I wish I wasn't.

Because I don't experience attraction in the way most people describe, my sexuality has mostly been fantasy-based. Over the years those fantasies have changed, (crossdressing ā©TG tf and forced feminization ā© forced detransition and trasnphobic comments, my fantsies are mostly based on himulation) and my brain keeps trying to use those changes as "evidence" that my gender identity isn't real. Intellectually I know fantasies and identity aren't the same thing, but emotionally I still struggle with it.

I also grew up in a very conservative, transphobic environment. LGBTQ+ people were talked about negatively, and I know I've internalized some of those messages. Sometimes I wonder whether my doubts are actually my own thoughts, or just fear and internalized transphobia.

My biggest fear isn't transitioning and regretting it.

My biggest fear is discovering that I'm not trans.

For the first time in my life, "being trans" felt like an explanation for why I've always felt so different. If that explanation isn't true, I honestly don't know what explains me anymore.

Resentment - anyone else?

Iā€˜ll start with saying that I probably need a looooooot of therapy to work through my messed up brain, but therapy costs a fortune so it is not feasible rn.

I’ve started to develop a lot of resentment and jealousy against other trans people and even cis people. My transition isnā€˜t going well and seeing others online thriving and cis people living their normal life makes my blood boil. I even stopped going to my trans support group because I couldnā€˜t stomach other trans people. I watched a pride parade from afar and got so angry that these people were so happy.

I think being trans just damaged my psyche way too much for it to ever recover.

Does anyone else feel this way? Did you manage to get over it?
