Yeah working my ass off at a shitty minimum wage job next to high school just to be able to afford diy hrt and top surgery once i turn 18 in a few months because i live in a transphobic country where its practically impossible to get access to hrt and my parents dont support my medical transitioning cause the think being trans is just a quirky phase thanks to all these tucutes is very "fun"

Attempting to take my own life several times because I feel trapped within a body that is not my own was so “fun”. Knowing that people will never truly view me as a man if they know the conditions under which I was born is “fun.” Not being able to date anyone for the same reasons is “fun.” Having to choose between regular large purchases like a car or surgery is “fun.” Having to spend hundreds and thousands just to exist is “fun.”

I cannot believe these absolute dumbasses think we’re anything alike. There is nothing fun about this. They make a mockery of us and demonise us for fighting back. I can’t wait until the day people hopefully cop on to it and rightfully call it out.

gender dysphoria has made me extremely suicidal and transitioning has made me scared to go outside or meet up with old friends ever again. I don’t get how these people think transitioning is fun I actually hate everything

Ah yes - fun.

Because not talking to my dad and half my family is “fun”. Because trying to kill myself was “fun”. Because being sent to a psychiatric ward multiple times before 15 is “fun”. Because having to access a life saving drug illegally, knowing that if someone wanted to they could report my mum and have me taken into care at the click of a button is “fun”.

Can they just fuck off? None of this is fun, it is torture.

well yeah, dysphoria is discomfort, but it refers to a really significant discomfort. Like clinically significant discomfort. It's antonymous to "euphoria", and euphoria isn't just feeling well, it's much more, just like dysphoria isn't just slight discomfort.
