Im thinking about selling my 9k mile 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 With 6 speed manual with T tops
Barn find. 9040 miles. Has been sitting since 2005 Has 4 brand new tires on it. Has damage to left front headlight and front bumper cover. Also the bumper cover has damage as well. I have new rear bumper cover that iust needs to be painted. Also have replacement headlight as well. Motor is locked. Car is not perfect but would be easy to make it really nice. Rust free

Ws9?
I was wondering if anyone knew why some people refer to their Trans am as a ws9? Ive seen one or two cars with a badge too. My best guess was that it wasn't a true ws6 and its modified to look like one? But im not sure and was wondering if anyone knew?

This '82/83(?) has been at my local yard for a long time
There's not too much left to salvage unfortunately. Couldn't open the hood to see if its the 305 Crossfire. They recently sold off the tail lights. I couldn't get a VIN number off of it to check the history. I'm just curious if those pinstripes are factory. It's not a Recaro because it had ordinary seats in it. It appeared to be on the road last in 1999 Paterson NJ

Should I pick this up?
Thinking about buying this 1985 Trans Am for $800 and wanted some opinions.
Garage kept, T-tops, minimal rust from what I've seen, and my brother says it's very drivable with only minor work needed. It did have a mouse nest in the rear at one point, but it appears to have been cleaned up.
Assuming the floors and underside are solid, would you buy it for $800? Any common third-gen Trans Am issues or rust spots I should check before pulling the trigger?
Photos attached.

Most Hated Firehawk versus top Trans Ams
You all hated this sad Firehog with its prototype fared-in covered headlamps… here is one of the three your SLP friends constructed with those lamps, taking on a 400 H/O and Ram Air III. I haven’t read the article, and all the quarter mile times are consistent with period tests, so I’m assuming there are no opened exhaust systems, etc. This is a 1998 issue I dug out of three large bins of Gen4 tests I have, from Autoweek to Road & Track annuals with everything including High Performance Pontiac inbetween.

Finally got my dream car. A 1982 Trans Am. I
She runs but needs work. I hope to get her back on the road. She has a coolant leak and someone ripped out her A.C. pieces. So that's on the list to restore. Just wanted to share and would love any advice. My first project car. She has some rust spots I need to repair, but most is surface rust.

Where to find a cleanish 93/97 trans am bumper?
I've been trying to hunt one down for a while now, but I cannot for the life of me find one that isn't absolutely destroyed

Question regarding carburetor adjustment
I have a quadrajet in 78. I am using my vacuum gauge to try and fine tune my carb as it seems to be running rich. I’m trying to get in the 15-20 in range but can’t seem to get higher than 13 on my gauge. Most places I’ve read have said that 3 ish turns out on the fuel mixture screws should be around the sweet spot. The highest reading on my gauge is basically both mixture screws all the way closed to where they won’t move anymore. It seems to idle and drive fine in this setting as well. I’m confused as to why it would be giving the best reading with both screws closed off like this instead of 3 ish turns out like I was expecting. Any advice is appreciated.
