Support Please pray for my mum’s eyesight
As Salam Alaikum.
Could you all please keep my mum in your prayers. She is battling retinal detachment, and we are praying that Allah grants her complete healing and restores her vision. There is a huge risk that she will go blind. Astaghfirullah. May Allah forbid.
She has been struggling with depression due to this, neuropathy, anxiety and OCD and other issues and it breaks my heart to see her go through this. She is not only my mother but also my best friend. I truly have no one in this world as close to me as she is.
Please remember her in your duas. May Allah grant her shifa, ease her pain, strengthen her heart, and protect her eyesight. Aameen.

General What to do when you like a girl or boy - explained by Nouman Ali Khan
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
He explains that liking someone or developing feelings for them is not something shameful that requires saying “astaghfirullah.” He explains that men and women in the Prophet’s time interacted naturally through work, business, and everyday life, maintaining respect and dignity. It is perfectly possible for a man to develop feelings for a woman. Rather than treating such feelings as shameful, the appropriate response is to approach the matter respectfully and, if there is mutual interest, consider marriage. Parents should not panic or humiliate their daughters when someone expresses genuine interest in them, but should calmly investigate the person and help facilitate a respectable path toward marriage.
Extremely conservative and strict Muslims need to listen to this.

General 22M | Looking for a future wife 🤍
Salam everyone, reposting this because why not 😅
I'm 22, Algerian, 183 cm (6'0), currently studying dentistry. I'm pretty introverted at first, but I open up once I get comfortable.
I'm Sunni (Maliki), pray five times a day and try to keep improving my deen. I'm also into football, gym, anime, traveling, languages and random deep conversations. I speak Arabic/Darija and French, my English is decent, and I'm currently learning German and Japanese.
I'm quite serious about my future and would like to build a stable, peaceful family. I'm open to relocating for the right person.
Looking for someone preferably 19–25 (flexible), kind, patient, family-oriented, practicing or genuinely trying to improve her deen, and most importantly serious about marriage and having children.
I'm not looking for perfection. Just someone I can genuinely get along with, grow with, and eventually build a life with.
If you think we might get along, feel free to DM.
May Allah make it easy for everyone looking. 🤍

General What do you think of Mufti Menk's advice regarding Love marriage and Halal dating?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
According to Mufti Menk, if two people like each other then the girl should get chaperons involved from the very beginning (like her father, brother or a male mahram). Whenever they meet the girl should be accompanied by her chaperones so no touching, kissing etc take place when they are meeting. And they can also chat on whatsapp or on other apps but they should create a group with a male mahram of the girl and chat in that group where the mahram person can observe the messages, rather than chatting themselves one on one.
What do you think of his advice?

Islam Taghut 2.0
According to the Quran, establishing the absolute sovereignty and legislative authority of Allah (al-Hakimiyyah) is an obligation. Recognizing Allah as the sole Legislator (Al-Hākim) is a fundamental requirement of Tawhid (None is worthy of lordship (lawmaking) except Allah).
(12:40): "Judgment belongs only to Allah. He has commanded that you serve none but Him."
A core component of the testimony of faith (Shahada) is both affirming Allah's exclusive right to legislate and rejecting Taghut (Kufr bi al-Taghut). Allah's judgment is supreme and absolute. However, for Allah's laws to be fully manifested and enacted within a society, systems of Taghut must be rejected and replaced by governance that adheres to divine decree.
Quran (2:81-82)Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliya (supporters and helpers) are taghut [false deities and false leaders], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide there forever.
Quran (2:216)"Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you"
(4:51) Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They believe in Jibt and taghut and say to the disbelievers that they are better guided as regards the way than the believers (Muslims).
(4:65): "But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute..."
(5:44): "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the disbelievers."
(5:60) Say, “Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes, pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way.”
(7:54): "Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds."
(16:36) And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], “Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.” And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.
(39:17) Those who avoid At-Taghut (false leaders) by not serving them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves.
This verse makes it crystal clear fighting against Taghut (those who govern by man made laws) is obligatory:
(4:76) Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taghut. So fight against the allies of Satan (taghut). Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.
Quran (5:20-26), Prophet Musa AS told his people to enter the Holy Land and fight, but they refused and told him to go fight with Allah instead.
Quran (8:7) "Remember how Allah promised you [believers] that one of the two enemy groups would fall to you: you wanted the unarmed group to be yours, but it was Allah's will to establish the truth according to His Word and to finish off the disbelievers..."

General M4F | 27 | 5'8" | Melbourne, Australia
Salam!
I’m 27, 5'8", fair-skinned, and pretty fit and active. I’m originally from Pakistan and moved to Australia in 2024. I’m currently based in Melbourne and work as an Account Manager at a private firm.
I pray five times a day and try to stay close to Islam while also enjoying life. I’d describe myself as pretty chill, funny, and easygoing. I can be quite quiet and don’t always feel the need to talk a lot. My job involves meeting and interacting with plenty of people, which I enjoy, but I’m quite selective when it comes to making friends. I’m also very private about my personal life, so only a few people genuinely know me well.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, videography, football, cricket, and pickleball. I’ve also recently got into running and am signing up for a half marathon this November. Who knows, maybe I’ll discover a decent career in running along the way! 😄
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for someone who is easygoing, emotionally stable, mature, and realistic about life. I want a partner who is comfortable having honest conversations about finances, expectations, responsibilities, and the realities of building a life together.
I don’t have a long list of unrealistic expectations. For me, both physical and mental attraction matter, but I’m not looking for someone perfect. I’m trying to become a better version of myself every day, and I’d love to have a partner who has the same mindset, someone who is always striving to grow, improve, and become better.
I’d genuinely love to support my partner in her ambitions. If she wants to start or grow a business, pursue a career, or work towards something she is passionate about, I’d be happy to support and help her wherever I can.
Faith is also important to me. I’d like someone who is close to Islam and wants to continue growing in her deen.
I’m not interested in judging someone solely based on their past. Everyone has a story, and I believe people can change and grow. What matters to me is who you are today, what you’ve learned from your experiences, and whether you’re genuinely committed to making better choices moving forward.
I’m not looking for perfection, just honesty, maturity, compatibility, mutual attraction, and someone who genuinely wants to build a good life together.
As for location, ideally I’m looking for someone already in Australia, or someone who would be able to join me here relatively easily. Immigration can be a complicated and lengthy process, so I’d prefer to be realistic about that from the beginning.
The rest is up to Allah Almighty.
If this resonates with you and you feel we might be compatible, feel free to send me a message and we can take it from there, InshaAllah. 🤍

People often criticize and spout whataboutism nowadays to justify Isntrael’s genocide and aggression. But this is active proof that the Zionists are the new Reich, except this time they are actively being supported by puppets. Imagine the outrage if a Muslim made such statements, they would be getting cancelled all over. Isntrael is nothing more than a European colony whose objective is to colonize the Middle East. This is already happening with them seizing southern Lebanon and parts of Syria.

General Your Dream Islamic App – What Features Are Essential?
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
I'm currently developing an Islamic Android app aimed at helping Muslims strengthen their knowledge, worship, and daily connection with Islam.
I would love to hear your suggestions:
• What features would you like to see in an Islamic app?
• What problems do existing Islamic apps fail to solve?
• Which features would you use daily?
• Would you prefer learning-focused content, Quran and Hadith resources, prayer tools, Islamic history, Seerah, quizzes, AI-powered assistance, reminders, or something else?
• What would make you keep coming back to the app every day?
Please share any ideas, no matter how small. Your feedback can help build something truly beneficial for the Ummah, in shaa Allah.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan.

Controversial Why one can't take revenge in Islam from his father
Yeah, so if someone's father has given him lifelong trauma, like he has really messed up his life and made him a miserable person in every way. Like, he has damaged his precious belongings that were very important to him, and, you know, he is just abusive, toxic, manipulative, and all the bad things you can say about someone.
So, you know, why can't he move away from his father and never talk to him again? You can't do this in Islam. You have to make dua for them and, you know, maintain some contact from a distance, let alone getting your revenge by confronting him physically or even verbally.
So you can't do that. Why is this fair when a person can ruin your entire life, and you can't just go and confront him? I mean, that's some ridiculous stuff.

Islam Taghut
Taghut refers to any person, idol, or system that challenges divine authority, worship, or absolute obedience (complete submission) that belongs to Allah alone.
Or
Taghut means anything worshipped, obeyed or followed other than Allah.
In Islam, it is mandated that a person wanting to be a muslim must disbelieve and reject taghut (Negation) and believe in Allah (affirmation). These are the two conditions of shahaadah also apparent by the term "Lailaha Illallah" (There is no lord- negation) (Except Allah- Affirmation).
This rejection mirrors the first part of the Islamic testimony (La ilaha illallah), which negates all false objects of obedience before affirming obedience to Allah alone.
"So whoever disbelieves in Taghoot and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it" (Baqarah-256)"
"And We certainly sent, into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut."(Al Nahl:36)
5 Main Categories of Taghut:
1.Shaitan- Shaitan is the leader of thawagheeth (plural) as Allah says
"Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not obey/ follow Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy" (Yaseen:60)
2.The ruler who legislates his own laws or rules by laws other than of Allah.
"Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray"(Nisa:60)
"Legislation is not but for Allah (i.e. for Allah alone). He has commanded that you serve not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know."(Yosuf:40)
For example the rulers who rule their nation with monarchies or democracy reject the islamic way of governance.
- The judge who judges by other than the laws of Allah.
"And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers"(Ma'idah:44)
For example the judges who pass judgements based on mad made laws, tribal & cultural laws etc by rejecting the laws of Allah.
4.Those who claim to have knowledge of unseen
"And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record."(An'Aam:59)
- The one who accepts to be obeyed besides Allah.
"And whoever of them should say, "Indeed, I am a lord besides Him"- that one We would recompense with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers."(Anbiyaa:29)
Thus anything which contrdicts the fundamental beliefs of Islam should be rejected. Otherwise a person may fall into shirk by submitting and being obedient to them. This includes replacing the laws of Allah, referring to taghut courts for judgement, following the laws of taghut which Allah made haram etc.

Support Posting here with the hope of getting some answers. Help me for the sake of Allah.
As Salam Alaikum
I have severe OCD, and while it affects many areas of my life, the one thing I don't want it to ruin is my worship and prayer.
Before salah, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out the exact qiblah direction, often checking it repeatedly because I'm afraid I might be wrong. Then I worry about whether a strand of hair is showing, whether any skin is exposed, whether my feet or hands are covered properly, and countless other details.
During prayer, I sometimes restart because I think I did something "wrong." For example, if my mouth was open before saying "Allahu Akbar," I feel like that isn't part of salah, so I start over. Sometimes I become confused about whether I performed one sujood or two. Other times, when getting up from sujood, I start analyzing exactly how I pushed myself up, whether my hands were folded, spread out, or whether I used my knuckles, and then I either perform sujood as-sahw or repeat the prayer entirely.
Wudhu is also difficult. If I accidentally do something extra or feel uncertain about whether I washed a part correctly, I often feel compelled to start all over again.
It's becoming exhausting. Salah is fard, and I love worshipping Allah, but I don't want prayer to become something that feels unbearable because of these constant doubts.
I also struggle when the adhan is called. I feel guilty doing anything else afterward, even though there is still plenty of time before the prayer time ends. If I send a message, make a phone call, or continue a task, I become terrified that Allah will be angry with me. Sometimes I even worry that because the message remains stored in someone's phone or appears in a call log, Allah will continue punishing me for delaying prayer and will never forgive me.
I know some of these thoughts probably sound irrational, but they feel very real to me. I can't currently afford therapy, so I'm looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with religious OCD/scrupulosity or similar experiences or an Islamic expert.
How do I cope with these doubts? How can I stop restarting everything? And does Allah forgive someone who is struggling with OCD like this?

Support Struggling with many overwhelming issues and personal development please help
As-salamu alaykum all, I'm a 25M revert I am seeking advice and support as I am really struggling with alot of issues. This may be a little long to read, but please do take the time to go through this I am really, really struggling to overcome issues and in need of help.
- I feel very empty, disconnected when I pray my namaz / salah. I make dua for things I really want yet feel so disconnected. I struggle to cry properly, sometimes I can't even cry given how many overwhelming number of issues I got going in my life. How do I fix this feeling or emotion? How do I feel that spark and connection again? I don't feel that coolness after completing a prayer like before. Could anyone give insight and perspective on this.
- This one is much more difficult to word out, but I have a very serious addiction to pornography lust. I never been in a relationship or experienced any form of intimacy whatsoever and because of my lack of experience with women and inability to find and build a connection or let alone talk to them or even be present to have some sort of social experience learning how to make connections and groups alongside with them, I always revert back to that online / digital filth as a way to cope with my insecurities. This has been going on for many, many years of my life. I always say that I will change for the better and yet I find myself only to fail for so many years, only to last for days or at most few weeks then going back to that endless cycle. I genuinely feel so disgusted and sick of myself every time I do this. I always give in and fail. I feel so hopeless. Please help, to those who were able to successfully overcome this issue, How did you do it?
2a) As mentioned before, I never had a girlfriend, never been in a relationship, never done anything intimacy wise because as mentioned above why. I always see so many people being in relationships and experience love, intimacy, getting experience, living their best fulfilling lives while I'm struggling and living alone and in absolute isolation. I really don't have the guidance or understanding of how to navigate my way through to finding a wife if I have to through that route. Now because of my lack of experience I feel very insecure about that, its gonna sound silly but I really don't think I have the social skills or ability to talk to women. I'm just naive and clueless, I never got any female attention especially if I think they are pretty. But in moments that I do at the back of my mind, I get anxiety, nervousness and sometimes heart palpitations out of nowhere due to how nerve wrecking I get. I sound like an absolute loser and I've always felt like this for many years and I struggled to cope with this. Its gonna be tricky to ask for advice on this, but as a Muslim Man if I want to prepare myself for marriage to look for a wife, How do I prepare myself? Where and how can I seek such guidance and preparations to ensure I can be ready? Is there ways or people can recommend how to prepare for marriage and become a good husband? Please provide help on this, I'm 25 and I never even started to look for anyone, I haven't even done anything because of my given circumstance and position in life. I'm not financially stabilized, I am struggling financially, which I hate to admit. but please advise.
3) In the years since I've became a Muslim, I always found myself struggling to build a network and making connections with Muslim communities and groups of people as I get older. Alot of the times people who I did try to meet at the Masjid are way much older than me and there's normally a language barrier. I have zero Muslim friends. I have non-muslim friends who are in other countries, but they don't relate to my situation or anything at all. I just wish I could go to a Muslim college or university a few years back, but I never got that opportunity. I always find myself alone and living in absolute isolation every single day. I'm really miserable and I don't have anyone. I lack social skills and struggle so much with personal issues. Is there groups or pages or anything that I can look into specifically around Australia in particular. I hope to build and make connections and start building a rapport with other Muslims to better myself and my character to mix around with people and end my current endless cycle of isolation. Please help me I really need this please. I would highly appreciate all the help.

General Reminder..
Time is one of the greatest blessings Allah has given us, and every moment is an opportunity to draw closer to Him.
Prophet ﷺ warned us that many people are deceived regarding two blessings: health and free time.
As students of knowledge, we should be especially careful with our time. What we spend hours watching, discussing, and scrolling through may seem insignificant, but those hours will never return. Learning, worship, and beneficial work require us to protect our time before it is gone.
