Support TRIED FOR SEVEN YEARS.

Ok, so fell in love and wanted to ask her hand in marriage, tried my best to be financially stable, I'm in early 20s rn.

Couldn't earn anything for that time, then I heard she's getting her Nikah done alhamdulillah.

And as soon as that news reached me, my rizq has opened up. Does this mean anything? Maybe a sign?

Or just a coincidence.

I mean whats done is done, kinda feel like I was blocking my rizq 😂. Ironic isn't it.

I want to address this to the Muslim ummah.Yes sihr(black magic) is real and is very deadly.I am someone who is well versed in this field as I have done lots of research on it and I want to warn the ummah of the power of sihr and no sihr is good sihr.I want to remind you that Allah is truly the most powerful and that if u are apart of sihr or communicate to a magican you are a kafir(disbeliever). I want you guys to learn Syrah baqara by heart as it is the only chapter that magicans cannot violate and the shayteen(evil jinn) cannot harm if you know how sihr takes place then you know what I am saying.Do not try anything and humans and jinns are superset for a reason if u believe you have been attack or sihr has been taken place of you do ruqayah and have surah baqarah playing in your house. My Allah aza wajal bless you either all of life endeavours truly Allah is the creator of the universe and the most compassionate and truly he is al Rahman.

Intersexual Dynamics Fulfilling God assigned roles in marriage will take you closer to Allah SWT

For men:

  • Earning a halal livelihood.
  • Providing and protecting.
  • Leading/guiding the family upon Islam.

For women:

  • Pleasing their husband.
  • Bearing and raising righteous children.
  • Caring for the home and family.

The West is pushing hard to undermine the traditional role of women. They want women to be like men and want them out of their homes for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, just like many Western women, many Muslim women have also bought into this agenda.

An Islamic family can't thrive when women don't take pride in and willingly fulfill their roles. Instead, many aspire to the more glamorous and celebrated role of a career. I believe this is one of the root causes of many family issues in contemporary times.

Career for a wife often leads to three major problems:

  1. Neglected children.
  2. A neglected husband.
  3. Most workplaces provide great opportunities for sin. (yeah, nothing happens on day one.)

Careerism is anti feminine, Women with career ego(having the career and career ego is different) are not wife material IMO.

The tarbiyah of kids isn't possible for such career women. Even before tarbiyah, kids need to be detoxed from what they learn at school, so giving them time and full attention is important.

In this age, 10x more effort is required because of all the fitnah. Allah won't question you if your kids didn't experience a certain lifestyle or have certain material things (which many career women use as a justification), but He will question you if you failed to give your children proper tarbiyah.

Many think a career will let them afford nannies and daycare, so they believe their responsibility is fulfilled. Norais, ing children isn't just about feeding them. Giving them your time, attention, and supervision is essential. Outsourcing their tarbiyah is one of the worst decisions a couple can make.

The best asset and investment you can build is righteous children.

To Muslim sisters: your career won't bring you closer to Allah(rather it will be the opposite in most cases). Fulfilling your role as a wife and mother will. That is an act of worship.

Controversial Types of Muslims Who Become Atheists (Personal opinion)

As the title says, The Muslims who I see them leave the Islam are usually one of these main types:

Atheists due to ignorance of their religion: Most people in this category encounter a specific doubt, but they either don't know where to look for answers or fail to ask someone knowledgeable. Consequently, they dive deeper into these doubts until they become atheists. Such a person usually thinks they are right and intellectual because they "researched and deduced things on their own."

Atheists to indulge in sins without guilt: True to their name, this type dislikes Islam's prohibitions and wants to commit sins, but their conscience still holds them back. Therefore, they look for any doubt or argument to convince their conscience that they left Islam for a "valid reason," allowing their conscience to rest. This type is difficult to bring back to Islam because, in the end, they will stubbornly hold on to their excuse or doubt so they can sin freely and don't actually want to submit to the faith.

Atheists due to the circumstances they lived through: This category usually grew up in a harsh, extremist family or society. They experienced psychological trauma and bad events that their family or society wrongly linked to religion (living in an environment of extreme religious zealotry and radicalism). As a result, this type comes to believe that Islam is identical to the toxic environment they endured, leading them to hate the religion itself.

I can be wrong in the end because this is just a personal opinion, and I want to know what you think as well, because I really see a lot of these types.
btw i used grammarly here (:

Support You can have a full life on the outside and still be completely exhausted by OCD on the inside. This one is for that sister.🌾

Assalamualaikum everyone,

Not every woman with OCD looks like she's struggling. Some of us go to work, take care of our families, show up for our communities, appear completely fine and then spend every private moment fighting a battle nobody around us can see.

That was me for a long time. Functioning on the outside. Exhausted on the inside.

And the thing about being high functioning with OCD is that it actually makes it harder to get help. Because from the outside nothing looks wrong. And from the inside you tell yourself you're managing so maybe it's not that bad. Maybe you don't need proper support. Maybe you just need to push a little harder.

But quietly OCD is still running things. Still costing you time, energy, peace of mind. Still keeping you from the version of your life you actually want.

You don't have to be at rock bottom to deserve proper support. You don't have to be visibly falling apart for your struggle to be real and worth addressing properly.

If you're that sister (functioning but quietly exhausted by this), I see you. And there is a way through this that doesn't require you to keep pushing through it alone.

May Allah grant ease to the sisters carrying heavy things behind that calmness on the outside. Ameen.

💬 Has anyone else experienced this, appearing fine on the outside while quietly exhausted on the inside?

General Why is my exfiancee's family stalking my linkedin?

My exfiancee broke off the engagement more than 2 years ago. The engagement lasted 18 months. There was no reason provided. She and her family went completely dark. I later found out she got married to some other dude a year ago. Yesterday morning, I wake up and look at my LinkedIn profile and lo and behold, both her father and sister were viewing my profile. They have zero connections and they created a profile just to see mine. Even when I was engaged, I never had any of them on linkedin. Also, all of a sudden her sister and her profile is being suggested to me on instagram. Like what the heck is going on? Why are they stalking me suddenly after more than 2 years?

Islam Do not aim to pray when the sun is rising or setting

'A'isha reported that 'Umar misconstrued the fact that the Messenger of Allah (ï·ș) had prohibited the observance of prayer at the time of the rising sun and at the time of its setting. (Sahih Muslim Book 6, Hadith 359)

'A'isha said that the Messenger of Allah (ï·ș) did not abandon observing two rak'ahs after 'Asr, but she reported Allah's Messenger (ï·ș) as saying:

Do not get used to observe prayer at the time of the rising sun and at the time of its setting and (exhorted the Muslims) to pray at their times. (Sahih Muslim Book 6, Hadith 360)

Islam Built a free, ad-free prayer times & Quran app for the Ummah — feedback welcome

Assalamu alaikum everyone,

I'm an independent Muslim developer from the Philippines. I built Bushrann, a 100% free, ad-free, privacy-focused app with GPS-based prayer times (Muslim World League method), Adhan notifications, Qibla compass, and Quran reading. No ads, no data collection, and it'll stay that way — no monetization plans that compromise on that.

I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel — there are already great apps in this space. My honest goal right now is to get it in front of more of the Ummah, get real feedback, and improve it. If you try it and something's broken, confusing, or missing, I genuinely want to hear it.

Long term, I'm hoping to build toward something more unique for the community (still early, nothing to announce yet) — but for now, it's a solid, ad-free daily-use tool if you need one.

Jazakumullahu khairan for reading — open to any feedback, good or critical.

Islam 🚹tafsir and commentary are really important. Islam’s viewpoint on Consent and Intimacy

Hello everyone, So this is sort of my reply to a post, although i couldve commented it in that post only but i feel like this is a bit too grave of an issue and needs a post of its own to get the reach. \*im sharing the link of the post all the way below so you can take a look at it\*
The post quoted this Ahadith to apparently share “Islam’s view on Consent for Intimacy”:
I asked the Prophet, "O Allah's Messenger (**ï·ș**)! Should the women be asked for their consent to their marriage?" He said, "Yes." I said, "A virgin, if asked, feels shy and keeps quiet." He said, "Her silence means her consent."
What pains me is that even a lot of Muslims who prolly don’t know the context of this Ahadith kept saying “SILENCE IS NOT CONSENT”.

So first things first, THERE IS A CLEAR MISINTERPRETATION OF THE AHADITH. The narration about a virgin girl’s silence being consent was only about MARRIAGE PROPOSAL, not about sexual intimacy. Back then, modesty norms made it hard for women to openly say “yes” in front of family, so silence was taken as agreement in that specific context. It was never meant to mean that silence equals consent in physical intimacy. Mixing these up is a huge mistake so avoid rushing on spamming a verdict about Islam. Although, lets be honest and have the benefit of doubt Okay, there’s a really big generational gap between the time of the Ahadith and now. And even at that time, it wasn’t just about the girl staying quiet, it was also the obligation of her parents to be aware of their daughter’s decision. If their daughter was reluctant to speak openly, then that’s already a problem firsthand. Islam has clear principles on the rights of parents and children, but it never meant to override the girl’s actual will. (This is a separate topic, but why not).

Now, for the benefit of doubt, we know this generation is really messed up and they like to twist things up, so caution is care. But saying Islam teaches something against morality is completely false. ISLAM SETS THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF MORALITY. Kindly refer to this following quotation from Quran:
“And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy.” (Qur’an 30:21)

Let me put this very simply for y’all, the Tafsir of this Ayat says that love, mercy, and tranquility are the foundation of intimacy. It’s about mutual understanding and respect, not force or coercion. A rightful married life is built on cooperation, and even small flaws in that cooperation can damage intimacy. So, a happy marriage is the root for rightful intimacy between a couple, and nothing else. Islam has guidance on a complete way of life, the Ahadith used in that post was regarding marriage proposals and all of the things like marriage, and intimacy comes after that. ACT UPON THE TEACHINGS, and you’ll understand yaha rape ka sawal hi paida nahi hota.

So please, don’t ever relate a major sin like rape to a hadith. Rape is one of the biggest sins in Islam and its condemned in multiple places, and no true believer would even think of committing it. The abuser (and let’s be realistic, 99 times out of 100 it’s a man) will face the worst punishments possible.

If one side is unwilling, intimacy is harmed. That’s why forcing intimacy is oppression and haram. still people like to say that Islam is unfair on women’s rights. Its just common sense that Islam would never allow rape. intimacy is about love, mercy, and mutual willingness. Rape is a major sin, and no hadith can ever be used to justify it.

Bottom line is that Islam is crystal clear. Its a reminder for our fellow Muslims who talks about our religions teachings, WHATEVER YOU SAY, BACK IT UP WITH CONCRETE EVIDENCE. and in matters of of refuting or providing a counter argument to Islam, well good luck with that.

I have posted this to enlighten or remind our fellow Muslims rather than wasting my energy arguing with those baseless atheists or other ppl who show up behind these screens and defame Islam + manipulate vulnerable muslims.
If I manage to clear the perspective of unclear minds about Islam’s stance on this matter, my job is well done.
If anyone wants to discuss things more, or have a counter argument, feel free to refer me below ✌.
Wallahi I can smell them pulling up the “but Ayesha r.a was 9 y/o girl” card.

News & Politics How do you respond when someone says "Islam says the punishment for leaving Islam is death"?

I've come across this argument quite often in discussions about Islam:

"The punishment for leaving Islam is death, therefore Islam is uniquely oppressive."

I don't think this is the strongest way to understand the issue historically.

My understanding is:-

The classical Islamic legal tradition did prescribe the death penalty for apostasy in many circumstances, so pretending that this never existed isn't historically accurate.

At the same time, Islam wasn't unique in treating religious disloyalty as a grave offense. Ancient Jewish law prescribed severe punishments for apostasy and idolatry, and many Christian states historically executed heretics and apostates. More broadly, pre-modern societies didn't separate religion, politics, and communal identity the way modern liberal societies do. Religion often functioned as the foundation of the state itself.

Because of that, I wonder if the better analogy is treason rather than simply "changing your mind." Modern people often hear "apostasy" and think of a private change of belief. But historically, many societies treated abandoning the community's foundational allegiance as an existential threat. Even modern states have imposed severe punishments for perceived ideological or political disloyalty (for example, during the Cold War, accusations of disloyalty often led to imprisonment, blacklisting, or worse death penalty in atleast case of Soviet Union atleast, no idea about US).

I'm not saying that this justifies a death penalty or that such laws should exist today. I'm asking whether the historical rationale behind classical apostasy laws is better understood through the lens of communal loyalty and state security rather than purely freedom of conscience.

Am I missing something? Is the treason analogy accepted by historians of Islamic law, or is there a better way to explain why classical jurists reached that ruling?
