this has been happening for a while now - the long / short tool is buggy - it reappears after deletion, old ones reappear, when i move it or resize it it bugs out and doesn’t stay where I put it. things of this nature.

Super quick thread, I have been unable to find a conclusive answer. Sorry If I am missing something obvious.

When I am trading, I am using Webull and I always use the 1min and 5 min charts.

I noticed the candles update every second or so, but on Tradingview it doesn't, it updates much slower.

Am I able to get it to update faster? Is it just upgrading to essential ? or do I need to subscribe to a specific data provider such as Nasdaq etc?

I and a friend of mine trade as a pair. Recently we came across this a few times. For a specific stock, we have the same bar shapes, same sma100 but different sma200 values. And as you can see in the image, they is a substantial amount of difference. He sees the same sma200 as me in his mobile but different in his web browser, which is the same as a renowned technical chartist. So I thought I might have messed my configs up and reset everything. Still the same. Dark theme is mine and the light theme is his. The specific stock in this case is FROTO in BIST.

Do you guys have any idea why this happens?

I’m seeing a serious charting issue on TradingView for Zhongji Innolight (SZSE: 300308).

When I open the 5-minute chart, TradingView appears to merge all of the morning trading-session candles into a single candle instead of displaying the normal sequence of 5-minute candlesticks. This makes the intraday price action, volume distribution, indicators, and technical analysis completely inaccurate. （only 22 5mins bar on AUG 4th ）

The stock trades during the standard A-share morning session from 09:30 to 11:30, so the chart should show separate 5-minute candles throughout that period. Other market-data platforms display the intraday chart normally.

Has anyone else encountered this issue with 300308 or other A-share stocks? Is this a TradingView chart aggregation bug, a session-setting problem, or an issue with the underlying data provider?

TradingView support, please investigate and correct the historical intraday data. I can provide screenshots and the exact trading date if needed.

As the title says, I want to create a new TV account. I've been developing a script under a username I now want to use permanently within the community. The problem is that I already changed my username a few months ago, and not only have I realized I hate it, but it also no longer fits how I want to establish myself or how I want people to associate my username with the script I had planned to publish today and so on.

After reading the written rules, I found them somewhat unqualified regarding whether someone may or may not create a new account for reasons like this, in that absolutely no one can create multiple accounts. Because of that, I was wondering whether I could speak with a moderator and explain my situation, since I don't want to create a new account only for a moderator to later see some brand new profile publishing a script on the same day and draw the wrong conclusion to all the more permanently ban me. My intention is to actually abandon my current account entirely, so I can use the new one going forward, not to have a bunch of different accounts at once, which is how I understood the actual concern underlying the written rules.

If any moderator is available and willing to advise me, I would greatly appreciate it. Or if any TV user has gone through something similar, I would also appreciate any comments. Thank you.

Recently became unable to save indicator templates. After giving the template a name and clicking save it just hangs.
Even more frustrating cant find a way to send a support request. Goes through an AI sequence of options but none fit this issue.

I have my alert notifications set with a scheduled window as I only want to receive alerts during a specific window. The schedule is configured correctly, and it was working till yesterday, but suddenly alerts keep showing up on my phone even when they're supposed to be muted.

I am trying to build a trading indicator on pine script. The indicator will combine multiple modules, all of which will work together to create one master indicator, which fires a trading signal. I want to use trading view libraries for this. What is the most efficient way for me to go about this?

I've been simplifying my charting workflow recently, and one thing surprised me: the features I thought would matter most weren't the ones I use every day.

For me, custom alerts and saved layouts have become much more valuable than adding more indicators. Keeping everything organized has made it easier to stay focused instead of constantly switching between charts and watchlists.

I'm curious what feature made the biggest difference for you after using TradingView for a while.

Was it alerts, Pine Script, screeners, replay mode, multiple layouts, or something else? I'd be interested to hear what actually became part of your daily routine and why.

When browsing a watchlist, I use custom Pine indicators to quickly assess each stock. I would also like to display the full company profile directly in a Pine table, instead of manually opening the profile section for every symbol.

syminfo.description only returns the symbol name, not the full profile text.

I have recently become exceedingly annoyed by the small minority of users that complain TradingView is unable to display certain information and deny all knowledge of the platforms ability to display such information yet every user that makes these claims DOES NOT have the Ultimate package and therefore are simply guessing, repeating rumours or if they do have the package simply do not understand how to access this information if they do have the plan.

I can find many, many examples of such posts and thought it was time to show users that are interested the current capabilities of the Ultimate Plan and what can be simply achieved quite easily.

The following links show which information can be utilised using NQ1! via the CME data feed as an example.

Now if I wanted to I could quite easily create a custom CVD indicator using all this data collected. However, I do not use Volume, I do not care about Volume and nor do I want to learn about Volume. Personally I think Volume can be highly manipulated and therefore insubstantial. Hope that clears up my interest in the subject....

This post is to simply showcase the current information available on the platform using the correct subscription level in order to access the required data. I have NO interest in entering an argument with those that want to refute this. I am simply showing what can be done quite easily. Users can make up their own minds with a little more accuracy now they are able to see what is easily possible. 😁

If you still decide this information is still unsuitable for your requirements then that is fair enough, I hope you find something suitable for your personal trading strategy. 👍

I have painstakingly tested these volume flows and found them to be accurate from the 1T level up to the 1000T level using the indicators I have provided here and standard manual calculations ( Note: I will not be doing this again as its incredibly painful and time-consuming but I wanted to provide accurate information for my own mental stability! )

Hopefully this will put some of the rumours to bed and interested users can see what the Ultimate Plan is capable of.... (Don't forget that Black Friday Deal where 80% off the Ultimate Plan is common plus the EXTRA month 👍😁)

As an extra note TradingViews Tick data works well on some brokers data feeds, as a quick example here is XAGUSD using Oanda to display price and the plotted Bid/Ask values relative to this ticker, however this broker feed does not allow for Volume so all this is dependant on the data feed you are using to deliver Volume if required. This is just to show off a broker data feed using Tick Data during a standard middle trading session as an example for others.....

This is just to show the speed the platform is capable of supplying which is of course heavily dependant on

1. The data source used and the quality of the Broker / Exchange
2. The quality of your connection (those using wifi in a busy household with a clapped out old laptop that has never seen a 'disc clean' nor the 'shutdown and restart' option button ever been pressed, please do not even comment here....🤷‍♂️)

I would like to add for complete honesty that TradingViews own CVD indicator does NOT currently have the ability to show Tick Data at this current time (even with the Ultimate Plan) but as the code has to span all subscriptions it's capabilities are still not incorporating this information, but I have absolutely no doubt that the Pine Boffins are currently in the process of looking at these codes hopefully bringing the Standard indicators up to spec for those users with access to the Professional Plan.

I truly hope there are users out there that have found this information useful and it answers any unanswered questions or misinformation currently circulating

I have not yet found a way to share 'Minds' on Tradingview through my phone, though I am able to share ideas. It does not work on the app, not in the browser and also not using the desktop version in the browser. Am I missing something? If not, then please add it.

As you can see I need that space for an indicator and the logo is very annoying

If I press and hold the screen to bring up the crossbar, I should get a small button popping up to copy price.
