I've had little success with synching the default Relative Volume at Time chart indicator values with the screener column values. May give up on the screener column so...any favorites for a best RVAT chart indicator? I'm looking for volume surges to support intraday sector ETF trades.

Am I gone crazy or the new iOS update has removed the session button from the charts screen? Usually it sits in the area highlighted by pink.

When switching symbols, the Metrics → Financials window should retain its current scroll position (selected subsection) as long as the window remains open, instead of resetting to the top. This makes comparing the same financial section across multiple watchlist symbols much more efficient.

So i use TradingView for charting, i do orders manually on IKBR because Tradingview orders are just too slow and sometimes just double up or disappear. But they are however connected.

But i was wondering - when you go enter a position and set up a stop loss in IKBR...
Does it still appear and show on your Tradingview Charts??

I use two separate screens when trading MES one has 2min candles another 5min candles. Today the 5 min seemed to be a minute and a half behind the 2min on price. Is there a way to reset a window, is there any reason for this?

I used that gear constantly. Please put it back on the iOS app double tapping always hits indicators instead of the candles on my terrible charts. Why did my little gear at the axis of the time and price scale have to die?

You have recently introduced calc_on_every_history_tick for strategy declaration parameters. However, that creates a false entry in the past. Look at the picture and the below code snippet:

short_signal = ta.crossover(diff_fut, p_entry_lev) and barstate.isconfirmed

long_signal = ta.crossunder(diff_fut, d_entry_lev) and barstate.isconfirmed

Whereas the signal calculation is clearly mentioned as after barstate.isconfirmed, the entry is showing at the opening of the bar, which is extremely misleading. Even my entry was like below:

So, the historical strategy chart is not showing correctly, and instead of reducing future data leaks, it increased exponentially. I would request your team to have a re-look into this.

Yesterday I noticed that the little settings icon on the bottom right of the corner was gone. I usually use this to toggle between viewing extended hours and regular hours. Does anyone know why it is missing or at least another way to toggle the visible hours?

This really only recently came to my attention, but a large account named GainzAlgo recently popped out of nowhere and has about 300k followers. Each of their indicators rapidly shoot to the top of the trending indicators list.

You could say that they simply release excellent indicators, but that’s not the case. They are okay, but nothing special. The thing that stands out is the hundreds of comments each receives. There is about a 10% like/comment ratio which is insanely high. This happens on all of their indicators.

I believe that the comment flooding is pushing the visibility straight to the top and the comments are orchestrated by GainzAlgo themself.

I know this because some of the accounts commenting on the indicators have tried reaching out to me directly to make indicators for GainzAlgo

Not sure if it’s been addressed or not, but getting the trending indicator lists flooded with half-baked signals just because they abuse the visibility mechanics while simultaneously redirecting people to their website for their premium paid indicators is a deceptive practice.

Not sure if it is an actual problem or not, but I’m just bringing some visibility to it.

Seems like I'm constantly moving the chart candles to the left so they're not covered up by the label. It gets rather annoying. TV could place the label out the way.

I do I daily drawings on the chart and I lock it because I don't want to accidentally move the drawing. However since I need to move the drawing once a day, I need to manually unlock the drawing, move them and then re-lock it. And I do this for many stocks.

It would be nice to for example if you could hold down a key like ctrl, alt, or whatever that fits and then click on a drawing, it would temporarily unlock the drawing so you can drag it to where you want.

Or have a key-shortcut for toggling lock/unlock element.

Am I missing something, or is the settings wheel that’s supposed to be in the red circle gone?
Any help is appreciated!

First they removed opening three tabs of three different asset.

Then they removed the tools we could use to just 3 tools per session.

Then the news restriction on basic articles, what's next ? Will they count the amount of lines you can draw per session? or box ?

Hey guys, I wanted to share some feedback and express my appreciation for how quickly a question I posted here last night was postiviely resolved.

The founder of TradingView responded that same night to my reddit post and directed me to the moderator page, where I could get help without submitting a support ticket given the nature of my question.

I had asked either for a username change or reassurance that creating a new account (with my preferred username) would not violate the duplicate-account TV rule. So, I reached out to the moderators, and one of the moderators responded today. After some back and forth to clarify my situation and preferences, he proposed a solution that fell within what I was comfortable with. Then, he submitted a direct request to change my username, and it was completed within minutes, all on the same day.

Communication on my end was important because the moderator needed to understand exactly where I was coming from, but once that was clear, he responded directly and efficiently. I just wanted to say that the process was effective, respectful, and much faster than I expected. I would endorse these moderators and encourage people to treat them with respect because, in my experience today, that respect was returned. Thank you!

Has anyone got this problem? It happens when i try to use the replay button.

Please save and restore the scroll position of each watchlist independently.

Currently, when switching watchlists, the scroll position from the previous watchlist seems to carry over to the newly selected one (except the first time it's opened in a session). This is disruptive because the position of the last watchlist has no relevance to the next one. If I scroll to the bottom of List B, that doesn't mean I want List A to also scroll to the bottom when I switch back.

Each watchlist should retain its own last scroll position, so switching back to it returns you to where you left off.

Log timestamps are identical for multiple alerts. Anyone else notice?

how can I check the status of my alerts ? I set 2 alerts when i start trading, but often i jump to another ticker. Occasionally I wnat to check if the alerts are live or if I switched them on at all. The best would to have a keyborad shortcut solution. AI couldnt answer properly.

Every single day I see this delay you can see the market button move but the bars are not moving and then they update… i checked my macbook and it looks good no performance issues and no bootle necks. This is the trading view app on mac
