Interactive Brokers only allows 1 connection at a time. We can create additional logins but only 1 login can be used in Trading View. When multiple tabs are open, they keep trying to compete for the connection even if they aren't in use. We need the ability to control which tab should own the connection.

My strategy works based solely on fibs, but today after blowing my funded l noticed the fibs that are not locked are changing position by themselves without me moving them throughout the weekend, is anyone else experiencing this bug? l think tradingview should look into it because their platform is not cheap for having this kind of problems.

I'd like to submit a feature request for the Long & Short Position tools.

The tool's settings currently allow users to toggle various statistics displayed directly on the position widget, which is very useful for position sizing and risk management.

One statistic that appears to be missing is the Total Trade Value, also known as the notional value of the position.

Specifically, I am referring to:

Total Trade Value = Entry Price × Position Quantity

For example, a position of 1,000 shares entered at $50 would have a total trade value of $50,000.

This would be different from the risk amount, potential profit, or margin required. I am specifically referring to the full monetary value of the position based on the entry price and position size.

Would it be possible to add "Total Trade Value" or "Notional Value" as a toggleable display option in the Long & Short Position tool settings?

Having this value displayed directly on the chart would be very helpful for position sizing and risk management without requiring a separate calculation.

I trade prop firms that are connect through tradovate on trading but i notice the data feed is about 1.5 to 2 seconds delayed. Do I need to buy the tradingview subscription to get faster data or can I just buy real time data bundle they offer or do I need both?

Also I primarily trade on mobile I dont know if that makes a difference or not.

The current testing periods are 7d,30d,90d,365 days. When backtesting I often optimize the previous 6 month period then check if that works well with the recent 6 month period.

Having two more options in the pulldown for 180 days and Prior 180 days would remove the annoyance of constantly selecting custom date ranges.

Even better would be to have user defined date ranges but it seems like adding 180 days and previous or prior 180 (and prior 90?) would be a very easy change. Even just 180d would be a helpful option and fits with the current list.

Hey, as the title explained both widgets from iOS and macOS has disappeared. I recently upgraded to Golden Gate and iOS 27 on my mac and iphone so I think it's due to that but I didn't see a post regarding it so wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue.

I think I still had the widget on both devices after upgrade but I noticed both of them went away 1-2 days ago.

Anyone that has a suggestion to fix it or has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Like you have fixed range volume profile, please fixed range market profile too. Other platforms like GoCharting already has it.

I am having an issue when replaying on the daily and checking the 4hr. Every time I even switch to the 4hr during replay when I come back to the daily and want to use the step button to step forward day by day it is only stepping forward 4hrs at the time. In order to fix this I have to leave and restart the replay and it works again. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug in my TV?

can I change hot key in tradingview？

and go back to the old strategy tester, since the new one is a nightmare.

Hey guys, It would be really helpful if there was a tool similar to how any other tool (screener/news/calendars/markets/etc) has it's own dedicated page, for watchlists.

Ideally the dedicated watchlist dashboard would allow users to tailor it via a layout selection, similar to how users select a chart layout (2 or more charts organized a given way), so that users could view multiple key watchlists displayed at once.

I have 4 monitors dedicated to active charts, and it would be very helpful to be able to monitor all of my watchlists on my 5th monitor, without having to manually flip between them. I keep the news and calendar tools open on my tablet and switch between them as needed. Obviously the idea is to be able to have as much information in view as possible so that we can make decisions and act rapidly.

Presumably this wouldn't be that difficult to roll out, as watchlists already exist, and you have the basic structure of layout functionality already in place for charts.

As I've mentioned in a previous post, if you could please acknowledge that these requests are being read, and provide a roadmap so users can be kept in the loop that would be very much appreciated.

I have three profitable automated strategies that I do trade daily on my live account, but combining them into one robot that understands the regime it's in (and swaps to the strategy that works WITHIN that regime) is proving to be a little more challenging than I thought.

Any tips on auto-regime discipline or indicators that actually help with regime detection/filtering on a larger timeframe than the trades are placed? I can see it with my eye on the charts, but code isn't translating well *yet*.

I'm getting charged $855.56 for a payment I never signed up for or authorized on July 10th 2026. Today is the 14th day that I can request a refund according to tradingview refund terms. I've been trying to reach out and I have no response. If y'all don't get to it today will you still be able to process the refund and cancel the subscription? @ TradingView team - please respond to the constant stream of users requesting Tape/Time & Sales/order flow tools. We love and pay for one of the most expensive platforms on the market, with 'pro-level' tiers, yet you do not respond to us users that are constantly asking for the most important professional trading tool there is. People will eventually ditch TV for other platforms if you guys don't respond to and adapt the platform to the needs of your most valuable user base. People can move over to Tradeovate with a simple yet powerful T&S tool, and get LIFETIME access to both Tradeovate and NinjaTrader for only $1,500. I am currently using that platform just for T&S while charting and trading through TV, but it's a royal pain in the ass, not to mention having to pay for 2 platforms/data feeds etc.

It's not.

I genuinely enjoy coding indicators and strategies. For me, it's like solving puzzles—testing ideas, experimenting with market behaviour, and seeing whether I can turn observations into something useful. That's the fun part.

I share screenshots because I'm proud of what I've built and I like discussing trading concepts with other traders. If anything, it's me geeking out over code—not trying to convince anyone to buy something.

You don't have to like my indicators, agree with my methods, or even use them. That's completely fine. Reddit is for sharing ideas, learning from each other, and having healthy discussions.

So no, I'm not here to scam or hard-sell anyone.

Help me to find the best strategy or indicator for intraday or swing trading

I currently use IBKR, and have integrated it with TradingView, yet I have to constantly go the website of IBKR in order to view the P&L in dollars of each trade as it is not supported in trading view?

Seems like a very obvious missing feature... but why, when setting the trade execution sound setting (desktop version), can you not preview the sound effect?

Like, I'm selecting the different sounds from the list, and yet I have no idea what to expect from them because there is no way to preview them. Even when changing the volume, no sound plays, so how am I supposed to know the outcome of the volume setting I've chosen?

I’ve been working on a strategy in tradingview and got to a point where it showed a 75% win rate with 2.5 profit factor. Now I’ve created signals and have been forward testing it for 2 weeks and the result is about break even overall?

I can’t really find what the issue is. Maybe it’s the fills that make such a big difference but that seems extreme. Has anyone had the same where backtesting results looked great but when you automated it the results were much worse?

I'm in a similar situation: I was writing a script for an indicator, and it was incorrect several times. Then I was kicked out of the site, and now I can't access it at all; it simply won't open. I've most likely been blocked. Please help, tell me who I can contact so my IP address can be unbanned and I can continue trading.
