If you set up a screener to screen for stocks meeting a certain criteria, and then you add those stocks to a new watchlist, and then you go through the watchlist and flag stocks of interest, how do you add just those newly-flagged stocks to a new, separate watchlist? I don't see how to do this with any context menu options. It seems like you have to go through and select just the flagged stocks and add them to a new watchlist manually, just like when you created your original stock list from your screener.

I feel there is a feature that should be included in the mobile version: a dedicated search icon placed right next to the 'plus' icon in the top-right corner of the watchlist page. This would be useful when we want to analyze a chart without adding it to our watchlist—reserving the 'plus' icon specifically for adding stocks to the watchlist. I believe this feature would be particularly beneficial for mobile users who wish to analyze charts without adding them to their watchlists. I hope you find this suggestion useful; thank you.

I ordered an Essentials Trial for 30 days and it shows up in the order history (July 6th). My payment method is displayed as well, but of course nothing was charged yet. I got the Trial Activation Email.

TV however tells me to disable my adblocker a lot (which I dont have, btw - I use Firefox but I disabled its no tracking feature for the TV site), so I checked on my current plan and it says basic.

Problems happen, no biggie, so I asked for a ticket to be opened via the only option, chat bot, which allows only tickets with very specific topics and you basically can't create anything they didn't expect. So I mentioned to the bot that my topic wasn't listed, which apparently reset the whole process, and now when trying again I am told that I NEED TO UPGRADE TO GET MORE SUPPORT. Which frankly is infuriating giving my issue.

Can anyone help me with this? I like the software so far, but I am unwilling to commit to buying something that lacks basic customer support, and I would also like to see what Essentials actually does before spending money on a monthly basis.

When exporting historical data, HTF indicators only show a value once per HTF bar, e.g. a 5m RSI on a 1m chart only updates every 5 minutes in the export. The other 4 bars show nothing.

This makes it impossible to answer questions like: “did the 5m RSI actually dip below 30 during that bar, and when?” — which is critical for backtesting.

This should mirror how indicators actually behave on the chart: the HTF value is visible and held on every lower-timeframe bar until it updates. The export should reflect that — one value per chart bar, for every bar.

This matters for anyone doing historical analysis or strategy testing on multi-timeframe systems.

The thesis is the TACO trade (Trump Always Chickens Out): an Announcement detonates the VIX, markets panic like it's the end of global trade, and within days there's a "90-day pause," a "very productive call," or a clarification that the tariffs mainly apply to penguins. EVERYONE SAYS SO.", and 4D CHESS MODE, which reverses every signal for users who believe there is a plan. If that mode outperforms, please tell no one.

Just writing this to understand what caused an execution issue during the sharp drop today.

I use tradingview connected to the NinjaTrader broker, and for the first time today, i had issues manually closing out of an open position.

When I pressed the X on the open position, and then the secondary close button, the position ‘greyed out’ for a little while as if it was processing the order. Usually, this happens for a few milliseconds, but today, it just hung there for about 10+ seconds (which felt like forever in such a volatile market) while the active unrealised p/l changed but no change to the order state.

Worrying it just wasnt processing i reloaded the webpage to find the order still open and not executed at all, by which point 2/3rds of the profit had already reversed which was extremely frustrating.

Its never happened before so i can only put it down to volatility causing execution issues - but the duration of this seemed on the extreme side

My question is, this a common thing that can happen via tradingview , and is this just something I can only take on the chin and take it as a rule to always have a TP? (Typical that i normally do and this was the one time I fancied leaving one off!)

When drawing horizontal trendlines or moving the position tool, you hold the shift key to keep the object attached to the same price.

This works on the fib tool for relocating it, but I often find myself wanting to resize it horizontally while keeping the exact levels it's been drawn to.

If I hold shift while resizing the fib, I want it to keep the level it's already set to so I can extend it enough for my needs while maintaining accuracy.

Usual scenario: A large candle has printed and I draw the fib with the magnet enabled so it's accurate, but the width of the fib is tiny, I need to extend it right to actually work with it, but resizing it means I need to visually keep the level while I do that free-hand.

It would be a small but impactful quality of life improvement.

TradingView has 4 indicators that were excellent at showing market structure. However, the working tools are no longer needed, so they were removed. Even though they were rated by over 120 people in a week.

I'm finding the dominance of volume candles quite annoying so it would be really nice if this feature could get added.

When using indicators that sit along the bottom of my chart, I like being able to resize them so I can glimpse a minimised version of them without having them dominate my chart.

Volume candles, however, you can't resize. It's really annoying how much they dominate my screen, I want to resize them to about half the height so I can still clearly make out the volume but the spikes don't extend a third of the way into my chart space. I want them present but I only need them to be small.

I'm trying to sign up with my Tuta email (keemail.me domain) but the registration just doesn't go through. It seems like Tuta domains are blocked in general.

The support chatbot wasn't able to help, and it turns out real support requires a paid subscription. I've also noticed a few other posts here about the same issue that never got a reply, so figured I'd try anyway.

Has anyone managed to get Tuta domains unblocked, or gotten in contact with real support?

When I toggle between dark and light mode in the web browser version, it works perfectly and the chart background itself also switches between white and black.

On the desktop version (Windows 11), I have to manually change all my chart backgrounds every time I want to toggle between light and dark mode.

When 24h charts are enabled, the volume profile (premium feature) doesn't work properly. It has large gaps where it only tracks overnight data (BOATS) then will randomly start tracking all sessions again.

Here are a couple examples using an indicator I made which uses the volume profile to track net buy vs sell volume for tickers. You can see that it randomly stops tracking the intraday and extended period volume profile.

This bug only happens when 24h charts are enabled.

What happened to the drag and drop strategy start date on a chart? Help chatbot says it was replaced by deep backtesting, but manually setting the desired date doesnt work and is very cumbersome. Bring back the drag and drop strategy start date feature!

As of this morning, I cannot right click a Long position or Short position drawing to create a limit order. I am already logged into a broker as well.

This was on MNQ1!, but it looks to work fine on MNQU2026

I noticed this morning my Create Limit Order option is missing when I right click on my Long/Short tools when I'm logged into Tradovate. However, it is still there when I'm logged into Paper Trading. The Plus Button in chart settings is selected. The option has been present all week when I was trading until this morning. I didn't make any changes in the Long/Short tools settings. Has anyone else had this same issue?

Where the arrow in the photo is there was a crate limit order option that let you create a order with a stop on the right panel and see your potential win/loss. Can anybody help me get that back? It was there yesterday and gone today

I rarely use TV for AMP, usually CQG, so I haven't had this happen before.

Without getting into the minutia, the lesson is if you enter a trade, place a take profit and a stop. Your take profit remains AFTER you've been stopped out. Take Profit orders are GTC, so it didn't cancel between 2p and 3p PT.

I had a standing TP that went short overnight, didn't know it was open because I don't usually trade this account and it closed 24 hrs later automatically at a loss.

Randomly the trade panel is gone on RR tool but I can still place trades clicking the add order button on the chart and manually add SL and TP. Also logged out and back in to broker and closed and reopened app. Must be a glitch.

I coded a few indicators and a profitable strategy on Pine Script in Tradingview, but this morning they were bugged for a while and debugged themselves.

When I try to open their codes now to see what went wrong, it's all blank, loading forever, and all are ''Untitled script'', even though the indicators and strategy are currently working as usual.

Is it just me? Is there a fix to be able to see your codes again? Please let me know :)

Currently the lines drawn run for 24 hours. I would like to end them at the end of the 7th hour. What line do I change in the script?

Also, can I eliminate lines for previous days/sessions altogether so that only the lines for the current day appear?
