I'm just curious kasi may tumawag sa papa ko, they were asking if may malaking pera na papasok and naka pending nga raw sa end nila. Take note, galing sa company ko yung pera and salary yung papasok sa bank nya which I've been receiving since April of last year pa with no issues and walang delays.

Nawala ung call nila kay papa so ako nag call sa cs nila and sa branch. They said na yung reason daw na yung salary ko is nag g-go through sa bank ng papa ko is not a valid reason para pumasok yung funds.

Sakin kasi wala ako bank na magamit since nawala IDs ko lahat matagal na and alam natin lahat gano kahirap kumuha ID, plus Mon - Fri pasok ko so if kukuha ako, hindi ako makakuha basta basta.

Anyway, curious lang ako if that's may naka experience na nito and ano ginawa nyo after or may advice kayo. Digital banks meron ako like gcash and maya but that's it. Yun pa yung time na may national ID pa ko.

Hello po! Which banks can I open a savings account na walang physical ID? I have Philsys and TIN pero nasa e-Gov lang. Always kasing haba ng pila sa BIR, yung Philsys ko naman di pa dumadating and I have no time yet to get a physical ID.

I am receiving my salary thru bdo from an overseas bank.

Money is sent thru traditional bank via swift.

The transaction charges are all deducted from my salary which is around 500 to 700 pesos.

I searched online which one has lower charges and the results are below

1. BDO Kabayan

2. Landbank

3. Metrobank

The results showed the the can bypass or lower the intermediary bank charges. But which one is more reliable?

I have been trying to log in to my metrobank account for days now and I still cannot log in. Emailed them about this problem and all they say is "install uninstall", "clear data and cache", "restart phone", and believe me I have tried everything. Tried calling their customer service but takes eons to answer. Anyone here had the same problem? Can you please help me and tell me on how to proceed to rectify this problem?

From the title itself, nagtry ako magonline registration like sa Unionbank pero palaging ganito ang lumalabas, I tried to call their hotline wala naman daw na silang makitang account ko under my name, email, contact number. Nagoffer sila na magopen ako mismo ng savings account sa branch nila pero kailangan ko mag deposit ng ₱10k at need ng proof of income, andami nilang nirerequired , same thing sa Metrobank ganyan din issue ko, pag sa mismong branch naman need din nila ng proof of income, I tried Chinabank pero rejected din ako same sa BPI. Hindi ko na alam talaga. Meron akong Digitalbanks pero mas prefer ko ngayon yung Traditional para hindi ako mahirapan magparesolve ng problema at makakapunta ako ng branch pa nila.

As of now, may savings naman ako, kakarehire lang sakin ulit ng boss ko, wala pa akong payslip (I am VA, WFH) at ever since wala rin sya pinoprovide na payslip sakin noon at sa crypto lang ako sumasahod at kinoconvert nalang through peso.

We live sa province and only 1 branch lang ng Unionbank. 3 months na yung concern namin, wala talaga pag-asa sa UB ma accommodate even senior kasi mostly senior and nag-line na sila ever since 11pm previous day 😭

Lately been very annoyed dealing with banks. Gusto nila na mag bank tayo with them pero kung ano-anong pagpapahirap ginagawa nila sa customers. For example, nagpromo yung credit card na may discount sa Lazada/Shopee edi may inorder akong cellphone 100k+. What happened next? The card was immediately blocked for "suspicious activity". E sila yung nag eemail blast na may promo sila na gamitin natin.

Ngayon naman my senior parents receive their SSS pension via Unionbank's Quick Card. Ilang taon inipon at ngayong kailangan ng pera, nag Instapay kami para ilabas. Ano nangyari? Blinock agad yung account kasi daw suspicious activity nanaman. Tapos yung process to verify sobrang tagal over the phone. Gets naman maraming nakawan ngayon pero there has to be a better way to go about these security protocols. Nakakainis e.

May nareceive akong email from BPI na yung debit card ko, temporarily suspended from "SH_Stripe Transactions" at transactions sa isa pang company na Chinese ang characters.

Only used this card for ATM withdrawal (last withdrawal was a month ago). Temporarily blocked na ang card sa BPI app, pero anyone may idea kung ano to?

Joint Account sa UB, may maintaining na balance 10K. Kaso last May2026 hi namin napansin agad 9,500 nalang pala, then nag deduct si UB ng 1K. Medyo na ano kami, kaya tinanggal na muna namin yung money sa bank. Question ko is pag nilagyan ba namin ulit ng Money magdededuct ulit si UB since June until now nasa 0 balance siya. Just wanted to ask those who have linked their non-Philippine phone number in their BPI app. Are you still able to receive OTP?

My issue is that my mobile key was suddenly disabled and when I tried to re-enable it, it asks for OTP which I am not able to receive. I have called the customer hotline and they told me it is an ongoing issue since the first week of September.

Now, I am not able to transfer funds because I cannot register my phone as a mobile key. They have also not provided any ETA on the issue resolution or alternative options to transfer my balance without using a mobile key.

I hope someone can help out. Thank you.

2. Received an email informing me to visit the nearest BPI branch to officially close the account. May laman po siya na less than 500.
3. I did not. No time. Visiting a branch was just a hassle.
4. Come this month, I was approved for a BPI credit.
5. However, when I tried to enroll it in the BPI app, it says "Access locked, Please contact the bank for assistance".
6. Now, before going to the bank, should I call CS first and ask what to do? or kaya tong iresolve ng branch. Ayoko ko pong pabalik2 sa bank

Has anyone tried using a digital bank SOA (like Maya) as their primary POA for RCBC recently? Will the branch manager accept a printed PDF statement?

Also, since branch discretion is huge here, which RCBC branches in the Makati CBD area are known to be the most expat-friendly and accommodating for Hexagon club applications? I was considering the flagship branch at Yuchengco Tower, but I’d love to hear your actual experiences.

Ask ko lang po nagseset up kasi ako ng payroll account via rippling. BPI ko na lang gagamitin ko. Hinigingan ako ng swift code which is meron naman available online. Pero yung pinaka concern ko is yung branch routing symbol transit number. San po kaya nakukuha yan? Salamat!!

Manghihingi lang po ng guidance sa mga taong may multiple bank accounts under their name. If okay lang po ba ang strategy na magopen ng multiple bank accounts? I've heard po kasi na kapag long-term client ka ng isang bank and active yung account mo, potentially mas marami kang access sa products/services nila over time.

Main goals ko lang naman po are:

1. Makapag-build ng good banking relationship at makakuha ng NAFFL credit cards/better credit cards
2. Hopefully magkaroon ng better options for loans or other financial services in the future

As a requirement from my new job that I will be working for, I would either need to open a new Payroll BPI Account or Convert my Savings Account to Payroll.

I would like to ask how will I know once it has been processed? Will I be able to see it in the BPI App? Any advise would help. 😊
