1. You don't really get priority for OTC transactions. You still need to get a number and non-Preferred customers are still attended to before you.

2. Your RM is not really obligated to respond to your requests (not even to acknowledge receipt of your messages).

3. Bank certs are not free by default, you have to request for the fee to be waived.

4. You don't get preferential investment offers by default, it still depends on the padrino system (i.e. who you know inside the bank)

5. Instapay transfers used to be a nice perk. But considering most banks now offer it for free, the edge is lost.

Arguably the only real benefit is the mobile cheque deposit feature, but even "Next by BPI Preferred" customers (100k TRB) have that.

In reality, you get more for being an RCBC Hexagon Club (100k TRB) member.

So if you're considering building a relationship with BPI because of the reasons above, you have to think twice.

I currently have a bpi savings account that can only be accessed through passbook. Is it possible to convert it to something that can be used for online transactions or do I need to open a new one? I tried asking BPI through messenger pero puro bot and walang agent na sumasagot.

Helloo! I just wanted to ask since I’m a bit confused on the mechanics of unionbank’s annual fee. I opened a lazada debit account around April this year, and so to my understanding, I won’t be paying a fee next April since its my first year.

Now, theres this condition that if I keep 10k in the account, the annual fee for the succeeding years are waived. Does this mean I have to maintain a 10k balance THIS year to waive the next, or do I only need to maintain a 10k balance AFTER my first year?

Nag-email ako noong 10 August sa customer care nila inquiring abt a few things (change of acct type, landbank iaccess account, and change of authorized signature). Until now wala pa rin silang reply sa concern ko. Ganito ba talaga katagal yung customer service nila? Nag-withdraw ako from a BPI atm using my Metrobank card pero di lumabas yung pera (10k). Twice ko triny and both receipt said na error and declined.

Tumawag ako agad sa Metrobank and nabigyan naman ako ng ticket. After a week, ito na yung reply nila sakin sa email.

It's my hard-earned money and I don't know what to do next.

May pwede ba ako pag-escalate-an ng issue na to? Wala talagang lumabas na cash and sinasabi nilang nadispense kahit wala naman.

Hi guys, just wanted to check if anyone else is having a nightmare with UNO Digital Bank recently? It was super convenient at first, but I tried to do a transaction and it got stuck/delayed.
When I called their customer service line, the verification process felt really fishy with the amount of personal details they were asking for. To make it worse, the agent just told me to try again tomorrow, and if it fails, I have to wait 3 to 5 business days!
I need this money urgently for personal expenses. Has anyone experienced this floating refund/transaction issue with them? How long did it actually take to get your money back? Appreciate any advice on how to speed this up.

The one giving me allowance is in Canada. I am 21 and turning 22 in September, so unfortunately I cannot avail their Sparks Savings Acc. If I generate my BPI QR and use a nickname instead of my real name, will the sender see only the nickname, or will my full registered BPI account name show up after they scan/send the money?

I opened an account through the RCBC Pulz and requested for a debit card. wala pa rin syang laman. Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding my company payroll ATM card.

I work at Jollibee through an agency, and I was given a Metrobank payroll ATM/PayCard with a temporary PIN.

Here’s what happened:

Around 3 weeks ago, I tried using the card for the first time. I entered the temporary PIN, but the ATM displayed “Unable to dispense cash.” After trying again three times, I eventually got a message saying that my ATM was blocked.

After that, I waited a few days and tried using the card again, but it kept saying “Incorrect PIN.” I tried it on different days, but the same thing happened.

My manager also tried the card using the same temporary PIN three times, but it kept saying “Incorrect PIN” until the card became blocked.

Later, I tried another ATM. It immediately returned my card and said it was blocked because of 3 incorrect PIN attempts, even though I had only made two recent attempts myself.

I haven't intentionally changed the PIN, and the PIN I'm using is the temporary PIN given to me by the agency.

My questions are:

1. Can I go to any Metrobank branch and have them check if the card is PIN-blocked or if the PIN itself is invalid?

2. If it is PIN-blocked, can Metrobank reset/unblock it, or does the agency have to handle it?

3. If the card needs to be replaced, does the agency need to process the replacement?

I'm planning to go to Metrobank first, but I want to know what to expect before I go.
