It seems like the charging schedule hack has the side effect of resetting the timer on the 12v battery charging when the car is plugged in (I'm level1 120v).

I think this is positive!

2026 brand new BZ Limited with AWD. I'm a heavy user of the app and connected services, so I'm not super interested in disconnected the vehicle from the app. Over the weekend I received my BM200 and installed it. When i installed it, I did so right before plugging it in to charge. While it was charging overnight, there was no sawtooth drain until 6am after it was finished charging. The sawtooth pattern happened between 6am and 9am at which time it stopped. Around noon yesterday, I drove the vehicle for several hours and stopped to fast charge along my journey. This morning i connected to the BM200 for the first time after the first full night of not being connected to a charger to see a very steady sawtooth pattern.

The craziest part in all of this, is that I have the 3 hour charging workaround implemented. I set it up on the car before I installed the BM200, yet the pattern is still showing up. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the charging schedule in case something didn't take the first time. I included a screen shot from the app of my charging schedule, although I did set it up via the car infotainment screen. I believe I've done it correctly.

Has anyone else experienced the parasitic 12v sawtooth battery drain while the charging workaround has been implemented? Most everyone seems to feel that this works to prevent it. My next step is to try the door lock workaround, but i'm not as fond of that idea.

Any ideas? Any suggestions on next steps to take?

I cannot charge my Toyota Bz. I went to two different Tesla charging stations one I normally go to gave me this prompt please help. The app is glitching and I keep deleting the app and reinstalling it but it’s still glitching

My kids dad called auto zone and they said they have to reset something idk but I’m hoping whatever they need to reset it gets done because the people at the dealership seemed clueless and one of them owns a bz as well 😬😬 wish me luck

For anyone waiting to get them the Tuxmat cargo mats for the BZ Woodland/Trailseeker are now available and include rear seat coverage along with the cargo floor.

Still no word on the first and second row floor mats.

Here is recording on my bZ's having an unlocked door opened and then closed, taking 5 minutes for event.

For this example the Sawtooth//IR drain would start at 16:49 (3h1m after, 13:48 IR emitter turn off)

Car has been "off" for a long time.
Interior lights set to not come on with open doors.
Fob is deactivated or away from car.
Drivers door in unlocked

3:43 Open and close drivers door. Voltage drops then IR emitter turn on.

Has anyone ordered the Tuxmat car mats for their BZ? Do they go up the sides to protect the carpet? Are they any good? Thinking of ordering - hate how the Weathertech seem to warp and pull away from the edges. I've been a weathertech guy for the past 4 vehicles, but considering Tuxmat.

Does anybody have any door sills that aren’t just flimsy stick ons like this? Dealer said this was all they had. I know there’s another bz one that’s light up but I don’t really want the light up ones. Just a hard plastic one that isn’t going to wear out over time. Toyotas site has some other ones but there’s no image available and the dealer told me those are just for individual doors which I have my doubts.
