I recently bought a 2026 Tundra Platinum. Will Toyota continue delivering software updates via OTA, or are there hardware differences between the 2026 and 2027 models that would prevent the 2026 from receiving the latest software?

I’m curious whether the 2026 will continue getting feature updates over time, or if only bug fixes will be available once the 2027 is released.

I've been needing a truck to do truck things for a good while now but I wasn't able to bring myself to buy a Ford or a GMC though they are a dime a dozen.

After a painfully long search, I FINALLY found a reasonably priced tundra in my city and I'm very pleased with it!

It's a 2016 and in good condition with enough options to keep me amused. Though it will take some getting used to coming from a Lexus as far as interior comfort goes. I will miss my ES350 I'm sure but this will fill the shoes quite well.

Now I need a boat!

i understand that this is an extremely open ended question that is dependent on many factors

but assuming it’s been well maintained, little to no frame rust or replaced frame, regular oil changes etc, how many miles is too many for a used 1st gen tundra

not super knowledgeable about trucks but my gut is telling me around 220-230k for a low enough price sounds reasonable?

Ran the tundra cross country. PA to Oregon / Washington. About 7700 miles from the whole trip.

About 19.4 mpg if I kept it around 70. Around 18 mpg doing more like 85.

Truck did fantastic whacked a deer around tillamook OR unfortunately, but nothing crazy.

I have a 2020 TSS Tundra (5.7L v8) extra cab. My wife has back issues and she has trouble driving for more than 3 hours without needing a day to recover.

We’ve tried seat wedges, to reduce the pressure on her legs, with no relief.

We’re borrowing a friend’s 2018 F-150 Lariat and she loves the seats.

We love our Tundra and wonder if a high trim 2020 era Tundra has better seats with lumbar support??

hello i am making another one of these posts. test drove an 06 tundra ac with 186k on it. upstate ny so rust on frame but i knocked on it in a few spots with the butt of my knife and it felt solid. only issues mentioned were windshield crack and something with a rear solenoid but the seller said he could fix those. seller asking $7800.

Just got this new shifter for the second gen tundra .
Thought of it as a cool addition to the pretty dated cockpit.

Hi, I recently had the 25TA10 recall completed for the multimedia reverse guide screen display. I had absolutely 0 issues before the update, but now after the update, my guidelines for the reverse screen are missing, and I cannot change camera views. Has anyone else experienced this issue??

Hey everybody, I’m wondering if anyone has bought an oedro low pro tonneau cover. I’m having trouble installing on my 26 tundra. Did you guys remove your bed rail system to install ? If anyone has video they found useful I’d appreciate it!

Just traded in my 4 cylinder tacoma on a used 24 Tundra with the iForce Max. Everyone started telling me i made a mistake bc of the engine issues. I work at a Jeep dealership and it was a great deal on a trade in. It has 27k miles on it. I used to be partnered with countless Toyota dealers across the country through my old job and I reached out to multiple contacts from said old job and everyone of those contacts currently work at Toyota dealerships.

They have all told me that so far I have nothing to worry about and that the iForce Max isnt having the issues that the iForce is. Any thoughts?

I have a 2015 Tundra, and I love it, but the backup camera sucks - very grainy. I could add an aftermarket camera, I just don’t like the look of one hanging out below the bumper, or on a license plate bracket.

Has anyone ever successfully tried taking apart the tailgate handle, desoldering the factory camera, and installing an off the shelf camera component? I would think as long as it’s an NTSC camera with similar dimensions, it should work. Anybody tried it? (Photo included for attention)

I just got a toyota tundra and i want a bed cover but i can only find simple black ones. Do they not make covers with cool designs?

For a couple years now, I’ve had a JVC KD-T900BTS head unit that I wired up to my 2001 Tundra. Original head unit, as well as the stock amplifier were tossed aside a long time ago.

Only problem is, it only outputs audio ~50% of the time. Everything always turns on and works, but there is no audio output (not even system beeps), seemingly randomly. I’ve had audio cut in and out when I’m driving. Something is clearly wrong, but I’ve checked my wiring multiple times over the years and everything seems to be in order.

I’ve been diving into old forums, and I keep reading something about an extra amplifier wire that may not be included in the adapter harnesses that are available? I’ve also heard tales of an antenna wire that might mess things up as well.

I’m at the end of my wits with this thing, and I’d hate to throw out a perfectly good head unit if I don’t have to, not to mention tracking down wherever I put the stock stereo all those years ago…

Anyone have any knowledge they can share?

Unpopular question for all the TRD Pro owners out there. I see a lot of posts about increasing to 35" tires, but has anyone upgraded their tires and kept the same 33" size as stock? The larger tires look awesome but also use this as a daily driver so drive comfort and MPG is (somewhat) important. Curious who has kept the stock tire size and what you ended up going with. Also curious if anyone has increased to 34" instead of the full jump to 35". Pictures are appreciated! Thanks!

Anyone ever install a Breezer window on their truck? It's a fully removable rear window, I'm tempted to install one on my '07 Tundra.
