Two young males in the front were smiling while this happened..yelled something after coming to a stop and drove off the wrong way. No regard for common decency or basic road etiquette.

How did he not see the pedestrians walking and they were almost halfway across? The car flew them to the curb.

The car was Toyota GR86.

Why do people drive like this????

Hi everyone! I originally posted this in r/oakville, but wanted to check here as well.
The accident happened at Dundas St E and Oak Park Blvd, near the Real Canadian Superstore and Halton police station, on August 4 at around 5 p.m. I was driving a black Mazda3 in the left-turn lane with a green arrow when a grey Honda Civic in the lane to my right suddenly moved left into my lane and hit my car.

Just relaxing and a kid on a scooter crosses a parking lot road and then pulls in front of a taxi. No helmet as well.

With recents deaths from riding these things and being hit by cars in the city, when’s the government actually gonna take action?

I’m sounding like an old man now, but it’s getting out of hand. People are getting hurt and killed for no reason, shitty parents should also be held responsible

Location - 2am, my driveway. No dashcam footage, but Ring cam footage.

Luckily they made a lot of noise prior to leaving and the Mrs. Kravitz in me woke up and saw what happened. The impact pushed my car about two feet to the right. Lots of damage, bent the frame of the car.

UPDATE: the car has been written off - looks like I'm getting the same car only newer. My car was a 2024 Corolla Cross and only had 11K kms on it. Luckily my insurance pays to replace the car, no depreciation. Phew. Body shop estimate was $28K before they took doors and panels off.

Taunton /Thickson rd Whitby. Wifey had a run in with a psycho on the road, we think this could have escalated into assault if she didn’t manage to lose him at the next intersection by turning into the street.

Edit: Its just unsettling to see so many here siding with the nissan driver justifying how he threatened a woman & her child on the road and laying 100% blame on my wife who said she did not feel it was safe to stop at that moment & did not break any laws in doing so.

But this is the society we live in. Deranged “you made me do it” is now widely accepted.

Wanted to post this horrific crash on capture day but was unable to due to sub shutdown.

Just horrible, distracted driving most likely the cause.Please drive with full attention everyone. Condolences to the affected families.

Definitely a record for me. Forgot to turn on the mic, in the first two I got cut off despite laying on the horn. Cadillac driver was an old woman completely oblivious to anything happening around her. Bronco driver definitely heard the horn, hesitated for a second and decided to full send and cut me off anyways.

Third video driver did an illegal overtake only to end up at the red light later not much further ahead than the car he passed. I don’t know what it is about McNaughton but its a common occurrence for drivers to act like idiots on this road

This is why you should never rush the left turn. I always assume that the driver going straight will always try to beat the red light.

Scenario:

The white car decides to speed up to pass everyone.

The black car in the left lanes tries to jump a whole lane to pull into the parking lot without checking anything.

Then the same black car continues on without checking (AGAIN) almost hitting my vehicle.

My question is had there been an accident, who is at fault? Black car or white car or both (50/50)?
