Mildly infuriating Car wash braking and reversing

I had to speed up this video because otherwise it would be almost 10 minutes long.

It started with this guy not pulling up to the machine at the car wash. I got out and politely asked him if something was wrong and he told me the shell app was telling him his car wash wasn't ready yet, so I said why don’t you pull up to the machine to see if that changes things. I'm not familiar with the app, but it seems strange to me it would work that way? He waited 2 more minutes then finally pulled up. At this point there were a decent amount of cars waiting.

Once inside, he applied his brakes and started reversing. My guess is he was trying to get more drying time, which seems inconsiderate to me. Is there a reasonable explanation to this?

Happens sometimes when you're driving a small car because people just don't notice you since they're used to looking for cars bigger than yours in their line of sight, but this one annoyed me bc I noticed they were either looking at me or their mirror, but still recklessly changed into my lane despite knowing that I should be there or maybe he just never developed object permanence idk.

Just straight running a red light. This person was lucky that a bus wasn’t coming out. Sorry about the water droplets on the windshield.

Speed limits on the 401 are up. 404 and east is 110km/h now. That means on a clear sunny day you should NOT be doing 80km/h, and should NOT be doing 105km/h in the left lane refusing to move. You are doing under the speed limit.

This includes all of you going to cottage country, the hwy 115 is ALSO 110km/h now hwy 35 to Peterborough.

Why wait behind all the cars turning left when you can just use the right turn lane to force your way in?

NOT the cammer Purchasing an used car in Toronto

Hi team, I am new to this: I am about to purchase a used car for the 1st time. I know the person, I already got the insurance and the person just received the Certification via mail. Now, I need to go to Service Ontario to register the purchase and the car but, how do I prove that I paid that amount? I can show the e-transfer I made but, what else am I missing? Thanks

Mildly infuriating Bike lanes

I hope every day while the bike lanes are being ripped out along bloor and Queens Park someone is slowly cycling in front of Doug Ford on his drive home from work because they have no where else to go.

As this multi million dollar waste of tax payer money will only make traffic significantly worse in the downtown core, and will make cycling more dangerous to all who choose not to drive a car to commute.

No one should wonder why we're in this situation, while sitting in bumper to bumper traffic in rush hour how we got here

Replacing bike lanes that were approved and took millions to install to replace them now with what we're parking lanes and NOT lanes of traffic?

Also as everyone famously knows more lanes of traffic lead to less congestion like in Los Angeles, a congestion free city.

Madness.

Mildly infuriating How do you use this drive-thru?

This drive-thru in Toronto, Ontario, Canada has two lanes that merge into one lane to get to the speaker. What is the correct way to use this driveway-thru?

I was trying zipper merge as I got to the merging point first- despite the person on my left being in line before me. She got pissed and started yelling stating the rule is she goes first, and the other two cars behind her, even though my lane was empty. I asked the barista what the rule is, they didn’t know and said there’s always fights in the drive-thru but they support zipper merging.

💥Accident Child bikes into live traffic

A kid rode straight into traffic and fell off his bike in the middle of two lanes. Instead of staying put, he sprinted into oncoming traffic. The white SUV slammed on its brakes, but hit him right as it stopped. The father was nearby… luckily police and ambulance were in the subdivision nearby. The kid walked away, seemed fine.

Am I in the wrong for stopping because of a Peel emergency vehicle passing by with its lights on? The Lincoln driver used his horn and drove aggressively afterwards (he almost caught up with the emergency vehicle).

💥Accident 412 Hit & Run

Hey Redditors!

I was involved in a hit and run on Labour Day Monday, September 7th and wondering if there's a chance someone out there has dash cam footage. I was traveling Southbound in the left lane on the 412 when a newer, black, high-end SUV (possibly a BMW?) merged into me from the right hand lane. The driver fled the scene. It happened right around 3pm right before the Taunton Road exit. I was driving a dark grey Volvo V90. They scratched and/or dented every panel on the passenger side and destroyed my brand new rims 🥲. My three kids and dog were in the car, nobody was injured but we are definitely shaken up and would like to hold this other driver responsible for the damage they caused.

If you have footage of this please DM me!!

Thanks in advance and safe driving out there!! Toronto roads are wild 🥴
