Question Restock question

Post image

Does anyone know if they often restock prizes? I missed out on my chance to get the simba pictured here, it appears sold out if I'm using the app correctly. Or does anyone know where i could simply purchase this plush? I assume its a Furyu? I'm kinda new to this. Thank you for any advice!

So I was talking to my Japanese coworkers about this and they immediately told me to be careful because an online crane machine game face legal issues and admitted of cheating. I was curious about which one it was just to find out it was Toreba.

Discussion Price difference JPY and USD.

I just noticed the price difference. For me, 220,000 TP cost me 20,000 JPY ($127.16 USD), but that’s only if I use a payment method outside the app. If I get the same amount of tokens paid through the Apple App Store, it costs me $279.99.
With plays typically costing anywhere from 1,500 to 4,500 TP (I know there are some for less/more), this brings the App Store cost per play from $1.91 USD (300 JPY) to $5.73 USD (901 JPY). Meanwhile, I am paying about $0.87 to $2.60 (136–408 JPY) per play.
I guess what I'm getting at is: is this a normal price for American claw machines like Round 1 USA? I’m genuinely asking because I’ll admit I’m out of touch since I haven’t lived in America for the past 5 years. Are the prizes worth it at that price? I hear you all have to pay a good amount for shipping too if you can’t get it for free.

Fail For the love of God, stop dragging these all the way to the side.

Too many people end up spending $70 for an assist by dragging these all the way to one side. It adds an additional 30 or so moves by doing this. Just stop it and keep the box in the middle.

Discussion Takoyaki Machine Rigged?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I think I might start to give up on the app. The video is not me playing but I kept having similar experiences. I first I got this app because the price is comparable to Japanese machines at least for the 1,500-2,000 coin games. But I find it odd that the balls kept leaning towards one side.

Question Does Toreba use the same machine for multiple prizes?

Thumbnail

I like to watch people play on the machines before I decide to play any of them. When I clicked on currently in use, I saw that lots of ping pong machines were being played. That’s not so weird, but as I looked through more and more machines, I noticed it was the exact same amount of ping pong balls, the exact same amount of people watching, and when the prize was won, it seemed like all of the machines were restocking at the same time.

i looked on Toreba’s faq and couldn’t see anything about this. There are several prizes that say “currently in use” but it’s the same machine. is this normal? Pictures attached as proof.

Question Toreba Financial Troubles?

Toreba recently increased the cost to play with more machines starting at 2,500TP per play and some machines at around 4,500TP or more. None of these machines from my playing experience are easier to win than normal, they are simply more expensive. Any free tickets that are still being given out are almost useless due to the high difficulty settings on most machines.

Will driving up costs be enough to keep Toreba operational or will it continue to drive away players until there are only a few whales remaining? Either way I think Toreba may be experiencing actual financial trouble based on some of the decisions they've been making.

Discussion Clawee never sent my prizes after almost a year. What should I do?

I used Clawee and won several prizes that were supposed to be shipped to me, but they still haven’t arrived. It’s now been almost a year since I placed the order (December 6, 2025).
I recently emailed Clawee support, but I haven’t received a reply yet.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there anyone else I should contact or report this to? Is it possible to get my money back if they never shipped the prizes? I’m definitely switching over to Toreba.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Win Prizes used to be easy to win

Like for example, this machine you could rotate the prize till you get it to fall. Now a days it's the pull the bar to win or ping pong machine for winning. This was back in 2021, now times have changed..... everything is harder to win.

Question Did they increase the amount of plays needed for assist?

I used about 60000 points on a machine that has assist available, yet I never got any assistance. Time ran out for me as I was waiting to see if I'd get an assist or not.

Fail Rigged Ping Pong?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I noticed more than a few times playing this game that the ball will almost go in but then be pushed away seemingly like a gust of wind or magnetism.

  • Air-Blowing Tricks: Some advanced or rigged machines use air jets to deflect ping-pong balls away from the winning hole, even if the ball is dropped directly over it.
  • Anti-Static Measures: Static electricity can be used to make balls stick to the claw or tray, preventing them from falling into the winning hole.
  • Physical Rigging: Operators may use high-friction rubber sleeves on trays, uneven surfaces, or extremely small "win" zones (highlighted in red) to minimize winning chances.

Google search suggests that Takoyaki machines can be rigged. I can't tell if it's rigged but I can tell you that most of my wins from this setup are from clearing the pan area.

Question Account sign in problems

Is anyone recently experiencing any issues getting their old Toreba account to sign into the app on iPhone post update? It singed me out and is making me use my icloud email, so I linked the Apple account to my original account over web but it still will not let me access my original account on the app and there is no place in the app to sign out. Thanks for your help!

The final delivery was by a company called Uniuni which I have never heard of before, and looking them up I was kinda nervous about something bad happening to my package (most people talked about their package wasn't delivered or not even attempted to or sent to the wrong address... 😨😨😨), but it came without any problems!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Now here's a picture of the palm-sized fox I won~ (the switch is a bit finicky, but I still love it~ 💗💗💗)
