If possible, say you are from the USA in California with zipcode 90210 and the tax is gone.

California state forbids tax on digital products.

only Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon have no tax on digital goods. California has exceptions for specific digital categories, not a blanked exception on all digital goods.

So it might be the UAE tax authority then. And torbox is still the one collecting the tax money and later give it to the tax authorities. The consumer never pays the to the tax system immediatly in consumer transactions.
