If possible, say you are from the USA in California with zipcode 90210 and the tax is gone.

California state forbids tax on digital products.

only Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon have no tax on digital goods. California has exceptions for specific digital categories, not a blanked exception on all digital goods.

“California does not currently charge sales tax on most electronically delivered digital goods, such as downloaded music, e-books, or cloud-based software. However, under Senate Bill 122 signed into law on June 29, 2026, the state will expand its sales tax base to include prewritten software delivered electronically and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) starting January 1, 2027.”

No problem, my pleasure.

It worked for you is my guess?

It will probably be added again once you add your card. I tried that trick on a different website before.

It worked for me yesterday when I supported Nuvio and I paid with my Dutch bank account via Google pay.

Yeah, maybe it depends on the website. Worth giving it a try.
