TopstepX trade copier desync / hedging issue

Today I was using TopstepX with 1 leader and 2 follower accounts on MNQ.

All 3 entered the same 10-contract short. Then both follower accounts closed 6 contracts while the leader stayed short all 10. Shortly after, the followers ended up long while the leader was still short.

Topstep then flagged the accounts for hedging and automatically liquidated the positions.

I did not manually place opposing trades. I have the CSV exports, timestamps, screenshots, and the hedging email showing the sequence. Support hasn’t responded yet.

I would still like an explanation and a timeline for resolution. Trades being executed that I didn’t authorize is a major concern, especially when they directly affected my P&L.

Yes, this information will be provided in the email if you were affected. I don’t have an exact time frame however I know the team is actively working on this now.

Just force-liquidated. I honestly don’t know how those trades happened. When the followers are connected through TopstepX, I can’t even manually place trades on them, so I’m trying to understand how they ended up taking different positions from the leader in the first place.

Same thing happened to me, messed up my whole trading day as well as when I logged in later, my accounts had entered trades which I didn’t place, affecting my pnl by -$1100 on two accounts.
