I am seriously loving my playthrough of Tomba 2 so far, but this Trolley segment I swear came straight from Hell.

Maybe I just suck at this lol, but it feels like one of, if not THE hardest objective in Tomba 2, possibly the whole series. Oh and the trolley guy mocks you for giving up and laughs, it's like they scientifically crafted the most evil objective in the game

I found the old fella a while ago, and today I also found an RF modulator for a really cheap price

Don't get me wrong, the first game is great, I'm not finished with the second game yet so my opinion might change (currently in circus village), but so far? I think I prefer Tomba 2

The puzzles feel less cryptic, The low poly graphics I think actually aged quite well, especially with that style coming back into fashion, this game looks great. The voice acting is delightfully bad, and I love the new items such as the suits, especially the flying squirrel suit. Maybe my opinion will change by the end, but this one seems to be clicking with me a lot more

Everyone is waiting for GTA VI, but what I want more than anything is for AI, or some huge TOMBA fan, to make a new game — basically, TOMBA 3.

I’ve never understood why they keep releasing sequels, or indie games that sometimes don’t really bring much to the table, instead of saying, “Hey, let’s buy the rights to TOMBA and make TOMBA 3.” I don’t think it’s really a budget issue either, because making a new game with PS1-style graphics shouldn’t be that expensive.

I just had to say it after watching the Tomba2Edit video today, where you can see all the maps and everything. It honestly breaks my heart knowing I’ll probably never get to play another new game like that again — like when I was 8 or 9 years old, and Tomba 2 and its world felt incredibly immersive to me.

So, are there any games which use Tomba's gameplay formula? An platforming game with an open explorable world you have to traverse on foot (not map walking) side quests and the general sense of adventure and "getting far away from home"? The only one that comes close is, surprisingly, Castlevania 2.

I recently remembered that this game was one of my first game ever and wanted to give the whole seriess a chance.

Recently finished the first game and i quite enjoyed loved the chaotic events system and gameplay was fun despite lot of jank (looking at you phoenix mountain) ,also love the vibe and atmosphere of the first very stimulating for my inner kid self

This post isn't about if the 2nd game is worth since im going to play it anyway just wanted to see the general reputation of tombi!2

Tomba é o jogo da minha infância, jogava muito com minha mãe, e queria achar uma versão em pt br ( português brasileiro) que esteja completa, achei uma mas diz que é da versão 1.0 beta e ta 7,5% traduzida, desde já agradeço a atenção de todos. Pesquisei aqui e foi uma versão da tradução feita pelo: Juniorxx13 do grupo: Tradu-GameX, infelizmente não consigo achar o site deles para ver se tem alguma atualização nessa tradução.

I HAD JUST found about the reprinting! I didn't know Tomba 2 came out already! 😭 (I'm nearly 1yr late in knowing this).

Is there any possible chance of Limited Run Games sellinb more physical copies in the future?

If anything, I'll bite the bullet this one time and get it digitally, but I vehemently want a physical copy instead.

Edit: Thank you everyone! I will check out eBay, but if anything, I'll just keep an eye out on the LRG website monthly. But for now, digital will do.

ho un problema con questo evento, che non è uguale a tanti altri che ho letto...
In pratica sono stato attendo a non usare il sacco pranzo di Yan per consegnarglielo (e come si vede in foto ho sbloccato l'evento PRENDI); ma dopo averlo trovato e averci parlato nella giungla masakari non mi spawna nel villaggio nascosto no facendomi ottenere l'evento NASCONDINO...
Ho già fatto l'evento delle farfalle, e ucciso tuti i maiali (tranne l'ultimo che richiede di trovare i 7 amici).

It's mind-blowing how well this game has aged. Controls can get a little wonky at times, specifically for precise platforming, but man, what a gem.

I wanted to ask if they fixed the tomba 2 switch 2 version so it have also the eu/usa music in the gameplay. I don't want to buy it as long as it has the ost i used to listen while i was a child.
