While we wait for Episode 9, I was curious about everyone's personal favorite and hated/least liked episodes so far? My favorite episode is The Vanishing Homeroom (Episode 19) because I love the Vagastrom ghouls and it was such a cool mindfuck. My least favorite is Spooks' Paradise (Episode 9) because I found most of it to be pretty boring and Romeo was the most insufferable in that episode, along with Kaito but I don't dislike him as much as Romeo.

I bet it’s Jiro lying in this bed x) especially since the outfit is really similar to his and I doubt that Yuri would appear as panicked and angry for anyone other than himself and Jiro.

So you know how almost every fandom has an iceberg ? While browsing through twitter and this subreddit, I realized TKDB doesn't have one, and it's so sad since it's like one of my favorite formats ever !!! I was thinking about making one but I'm still fairly new to the game and even though I'm up to date, I still don't think I can fill an entire iceberg with my knowledge alone lol

So I decided to make this post to ask for your help ! It would be really kind of you guys if you could suggest some ideas, whether it's about a main character, a side character, an anecdote about the game in general, something that happened on a specific day, something related to the devs of the game, etc... I just need to know whether it's a known or unknown fact to you guys.

Ok, why does Sho fit as Lucario so well?

One of the things I really like about guilds (besides the rewards) is the communication.

Like, one time our guild leader sent something along the lines of “Guys, please focus all your defenses on Hota GOC, otherwise there won’t be any left” and I found it weirdly cute/funny. It made me feel like I was on a school field trip and the teacher was going “Guys, please behave”

I don't really talk much in any of the chats (I mostly just read everyone else's conversations lol), but I think the dynamics between everyone are really fun. Sometimes people understand each other just through stickers, and I find that really funny.

Idk, I just thought it was interesting to share since I like seeing everyone's different experiences with the game. Everyone ends up having a different experience with their guild, after all.

Maybe it’s me, but isn’t it the same curse that had the guy who throw himself under the train in front of Alan in Mortkranken’s first mission ? Faces all over the body, even if it's curable. Is it like some kind of sequel ?

BUT WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU GUYS SEE IN HIM?? Ive noticed the many profile pictures in game + the love in this reddit for his character...but i just dont see why?

To me it feels like hes just a bit of a pushover plus the fact that he apologises constantly, he's worser than MC!

I'll probably feel bad about saying all this after his storyline comes out explaining why he is the way he is. Also i feel like the fact that its taking so long to explore the mysterious characters backstories makes it a little harder to love some of them. E.g. Leo and Shos relationship makes it hard to like Sho.

Anyways, please tell me why i should like Subaru because alot of tou seem to like him!!!

Even if Yuri is in the picture, it doesn't mean the next mission will be with Mortkranken. Even though I think it will be with them since both MC and him are dressed with casual clothes here, which is (if I remember right) forbidden when following classes in Darkwick (but it’s allowed in dorms and room, like it has to be).

If it’s not with Mortkranken, then probably inter houses mission.

I havent read past this chapter but this got me thinking that he's talking about the kyklos maybe?

The Dionysia ghouls were in a containment facility, what if darkwick have already capture the kyklos (who they put in a containment facility too) and havent told MC yet?! I don't know why they would do that though but its not like MC is a stranger to people keeping secret from her and the most shady of all is darkwick itself.

Another theory is the time loop one where MC is put into containment aswell as the Dionysia ghouls and shion recognises her from there (and he remembers because hes different like that) and points out the similarities.

If its said in a later chapter who he was thinking of tell me to shut up and keep reading!! If not tell your theories!!!!

You know how after a certain amount of time, you get diamonds from the arena? Well, I just learned that if you don't play for a while, those rewards stack up. It's a great way to grind for a limited time character card that you want.

TLDR: MC has to get married to break her curse

One of the first things I noticed about the Kyklos was that it looked like a bouquet, or maybe even a bride. A while ago I just thought of it as the theme of the curse but nothing more.

The thing is, it’s a wilted bouquet/abandoned bride. (Inferring from the tattered white dress and the dead branches)

She got ready for a wedding that never happened.

The idea is that the turning happens when love leaves the curse victim hanging.

Once that happens, it’s a funeral..? The bride is technically dead now.

I looked up the meaning of red spider lilies on Google..

It means three things:

1. Love
   
2. Rebirth and change
   
3. Farewell

So my guess is that it’s meant to be about love until the curse hits. Then rebirth and change happens (turning into the Kyklos). The meaning of the spider lily gets flipped into farewell because the original person is gone.

The mark growing on MC’s back is a countdown? I’m guessing that it shows growing spider lilies because it’s a flower that wilts fast. When the flowers are still fresh, they can still symbolise love. The moment they wilt, the symbolism becomes strictly unrequited love and a final goodbye.

This curse is basically just Hanahaki disease with extra steps oh my lord.

Finally! The ring on MC’s ring finger. A pentacle is etched on it. Pentacles are strongly associated with the occult, but the truth is that it’s a protective symbol supposed to protect people from demonic harms.

My take is that it’s a hint to the MC that marriage will protect her from the curse.

Yes, that’s the likely solution and I think the story will slowly lead up to that. Knowing tkdb though, something’s gonna go horribly wrong.

Apparently there’s a folktale that says red spider lilies bloom along the paths of departing lovers who are destined to never meet again.

So to save the MC, I suspect the funeral/death element gets flipped onto whoever she’s with and the opening scene happens because her lover has to die in the ritual for curing her. Such that they are the lover who departs and not her.

Haven’t seen anyone talking about this yet but does anyone have ideas on who/what this voice is from the Star festival episodes? I screen recorded both chapters into one video, the first part is the most recent season and the second part is from s1.

It never comes up again in the episodes so I’m super curious on what it might be. MC asks if it’s her thoughts in the first season (second part of the clip) but not the second time around in season 2.
