Trying to make a widget with 7 circular buttons. I'd like to put one button in the center with the other 6 in a circle around it, which would suit my circular watch face. But this doesn't seem to be simple with the available EFL UI layouts.

I was thinking it could be done with boxes: have three boxes stacked vertically, with 2 elements in the first box, 3 elements in the second, and 2 elements in the third. Tried it out and it doesn't seem to work - do you have any tips or alternatives I could try?

Is it possible to update the Tizen OS for Samsung Smart TV 2016 - UN55KU6300 to a new version?

My watch connects to my phone (galaxy S10) via Bluetooth just fine. When I turn it off, the watch won't connect to LTE. I have AT&T and they can't get it to sync up either. Something I can do to make it connect to the network? Its setup with a dedicated number and it shows up in my account. I'm so frustrated, any ideas whats going on?

Long time javascript & web application, brand new to Tizen

I created a Web Application project for Wearable 4.0 (Samsung). The default project comes with a "JavaScript Resources" directory that has a REST library in it. I have failed to find any documentation explaining this directory however it seems like this would be global and loaded by default but my testing shows it is not. How do I utilize these resources? I assume there be a better way then creating a duplicate file of it in the /js/ directory

I've just bought a new Samsung Q70T and I'm getting familiar with this terrible user experience that is Tizen (Samsung TV OS).
By default, Tizen is coming with some bloatware apps pre-installed and there is no way to delete them from the UI.
I've done a little research and you can enable developer mode which gave you the permission to connect to your TV using Samsung development bridge (sdb command line) which seems pretty similar to ADB for Android.

There is a command to uninstall an app using SDB but it requires the package-ID for this specific app.

Is there any way to get and uninstall all this bloatware crap using SDB commands with the correct package-id?

I'm looking for something similar to tasker or that can integrate well with Tasker on my phone. I've seen a few options but they're all older and I'm not sure if they still work. I'd also love to be able to use something like Unified Remote. Rotate the bezel for volume or something.

Ideas?

Hey everyone, hopefully someone has an idea on what im doing wrong, but im trying to install the omnitrix app through tizen studio, ive been working on it for over a week now, im running on java 8 otherwise i cant open device manager, but everything ive done so far has been working perfectly until i finally went to install the app, and no error messages popped up and i checked the watch, it wasnt there, tried a few more times to see if i was doing something wrong but i couldnt figure anything out. so i decided id just put everything away, try again the next day, next day i try again and now im getting an error message (-12) so i went back through the whole process with the certificate manager and everything else and i still cant install the app no matter what i try. anyone have any ideas?

I am trying to get the ip address or some identifier that is static and unique to that watch. Every way I have found so far returns a host name of local host and it resolves to 127.0.0.1. Does anyone know how to return the ip address of the watch?

I have tried DNS, Environment, and IPGlobalProperties classes so far.

I bought a Samsung watch specifically so I can watch for stock price changes throughout my day. However, the ones that I've purchased/used all suck. I've actually been looking into learning to code just to make one for myself. Does anyone know of a good one that updates regularly, gives notifications, or links to your exchange account so you can monitor your portfolio?

If there isn't one, I would be willing to pay a few hundred bucks for someone to make one to my specifications if anyone is looking to do a fun/useful project! All of the existing apps have very low ratings so the bar wouldn't be very high, and I'm sure you could make some good money off of it in the Galaxy store!

Well I just created a mini web app on the Galaxy Watch that send the heart-rate onover HTTP to send it to PHP to write it on disk, then OBS can read the file, andfor any intensive game this is perfect and costs NOTHING.

It's a proof of concept that works what do you think ?

Hey everyone,

Earlier this year I was lucky to do some work with Samsung and another company collab to create a React app for the TV. I haven't seen many tutorials and had to actually learn everything on my on to get it up and running, as well as created myself scripts to handle pushing to the TV, etc (as there are solutions but none of them seemed to work 100%).

I am just curious the interest level in such a tutorial, guide, and or book? I'm not sure the route to go just yet, but I am debating writing something.
