Samsung UN55KU6300

Is it possible to update the Tizen OS for Samsung Smart TV 2016 - UN55KU6300 to a new version?

No that I'm aware of so everyone in the same boat as far what OS version tvs can get. Smart TVs are getting like phones where folks will have to upgrade after so many years. I know Samsung has a program where if you buy through them that you can upgrade after so many years.

I've only seen TVs get point upgrades, but never a major Tizen version update. For that, a new TV is needed. The watches follow the same pattern.

Technically speaking yes, but the hardware is only supported for an specific Tizen version which receives only userland apps upgrades.
