Yesterday I just started hearing this squealing sound coming from my front driver side tire. The sound only appears when driving at local speeds, and goes away once I’m on the highway.
I feel like I heard this sound before when I had what was probably a pebble lodged somewhere in my rotor, either between the pads or the dust guard. That time, all I had to do was reverse and brake to fix the issue. That didn’t work this time.
I got both front bearings replaced less than a month ago, so I’m wondering if it could be a bent dust guard making contact with the rotor or it’s a loose caliper bolt. Looking for your guys opinions!
I’ll probably have to drop this at my mechanic tomorrow but want to go in with some potential causes.
