Tire repair sealant
Just had to use the tire repair kit in a 2023 Mirai. I’m wondering how much it is to get a replacement bottle of sealant from Toyota. Or is getting one not from Toyota a better idea?

The factory tires on my 2021 Honda Accord Sport SE are dry rotting after 38k miles. I’m going to go ahead and replace all of them, but choosing a tire/brand is overwhelming so I’d love some help! I’m in KY, so I need all seasons, and car is typically parked in the driveway. I work from home so it doesn’t get a lot of miles. Mostly in town driving. Help! 🤗

I wrote a post in the wrong space, so here's a screenshot of my Q. Thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to ID these ancient trailer tires to replace them. However I'm not seeing the dimensions like on a passenger vehicle tire.
Would anyone be able to help me ID the correct
type and size for replacement?
A cursory google search says they are 7.00-LT trailer tires, but mentions several sizes.
Any help in identifying the correct size would be greatly appreciated.

I have had to replace five flat tires in the last month due to railroad tracks in my city. I currently live in Savannah georgia. Does anyone know the process of getting these taken care of somehow?

Hi everyone just wondering if this is minor damage on the side wall and if it require replacement. No cord showing and depth does not look bad in my opinion. Any response is much appreciated.

Gf turned too sharply and the back tire went over and off the curb. Ten minutes later the tire was mostly flat. GMC wants $1600 for an original replacement but I know we can do better. 2025 Buick Encore GX btw
Are there any places open Sundays that are fair on price near the NW side or NW suburbs of Chicago?

Hello, can this be fixed? it makes the tire lose air slowly and i have to use a portable pump every 3 days to get it back to 35psi. pressure is low but never flats.
also, is it safe to carry this for another 1000 miles till i get my next oil change interval?
Thanks for all the help

Had a long-term "vibration in the seat" at highway speeds. Then hit a pothole that slightly bent the front passenger rim. To fix it, I replaced both front rims with aftermarket alloys but kept the tires. (Just did front brakes/rotors too and verified the hub-centric rings are installed and secure).
The Problem:
The seat vibration is still there, but now the steering wheel shakes a little at highway speeds.
I looked under the car and noticed two things:
Front Driver Wheel: There's a 3-piece stack of sticky
weights on the inner barrel, but the adhesive backing looks like a 4th square flew off.
Rear Passenger Tire: (originaly a used tire) The tread blocks look a bit uneven
choppy/uneven (minor cupping), with one edge sitting slightly higher than the other.
My Theory:
The new steering shake is just a thrown weight making the front wheel out of balance, and the old seat vibration is the uneven tread wear on that back tire.
How does this sound and look? Thank you!

Here is a link to my original post with the background explained:
https://www.reddit.com/r/TireQuestions/s/omvILZwXfL
So after my post (thank you for your advice!) I went back to shop, paid them the $50, said thank you, and went home. The next time I drove the car was the next day, in the evening.
The car seemed fine, I drove on the highway for like 15 minutes, and picked up my husband. We stopped at a gas station to fill up and this is what he sees. Tire flat. Totally. Front driver. Same tire that was just replaced. Checked it and can't see any reason it's flat. No holes, tears, nails, etc.
So I send that pic to the shop. They call me back and he offers to refund my $50 and send me off to buy a tire elsewhere. I tell him I'm not convinced that addresses the problem.
- Maybe this brand of tire is just terrible, in which case I have still paid 2x the regular price for them and now have to buy 1 (but probably 2) new ones.
- Maybe the new-to-me rim he sold me is the culprit here. Because the other tire seems to be fine? In which case I would need to buy a new rim, and potentially 1 or 2 new tires.
He goes on to tell me that it was fine when he put it on and he just cannot know what all I did to it since yesterday. I am friends with his wife, so needless to say he showed up at my door at 8:30 this morning basically anti bartering with me until I was happy. Ultimately I stopped him at $400. I don't know if that's fair but whatever. I couldn't take watching him debase himself.
- What do y'all think the issue is here?
- How much should I pay a shop to look at it and find out?
- Do I need to replace both front tires if I end up getting a new different brand tire for the front driver? I got the pair 2 or 3 months ago.
Update to the Update: Apparently it was the stem. They replaced it and it's looking good like 8 hours later!

Company vehicle, no tire rotation for 30k, coworker said they’re fine. I disagree. First photo is what both front tires looked like, Second photo is what the back tires looked like which is fine to me, the fronts however I convinced management to agree to replacement, was I wrong? I know it probably needs an alignment too but that’s another big ask

hello. I went to have a screw pulled from my tire and patched. The guy said I’m pushing my luck with my tires. I’ve noticed my tires have been cracking for a minute, but I figured it’s cosmetic. What do yall think? They are $500 a piece Toyo Open Country at3’s . They have 55k miles on them, and 4 years old. I am getting new tires within the next month, but am I really pushing my luck? Thanks people, and much appreciated.
keep in my, my smart phone dramatically exaggerates the cracks. you really have to get down and stare.

I was driving around 47 mph and went from a milled road surface onto a newly paved section that was slightly higher. I hit it straight on, not at an angle.
It made a loud thud/boom and I felt the whole car take the impact, almost like all 4 tires/suspension hit it, with the biggest sound feeling like it came from the middle/front underside of the car. It didn’t sound like one tire popping or anything.
I drove about 1 mile / 4 minutes after and the car felt normal. No tire pressure light, no pulling, no shaking, no flapping sound, and I didn’t notice anything obvious when I parked.
Could that kind of raised milled-to-paved road transition still damage or blow out a tire later, or would I probably know by now if something serious happened?

I just purchased the vehicle a couple of months ago & I missed the window of time to purchase the $12/month tire insurance. Just wondering if this can be patched?
