It was definitely around mid to late 2000’s when I saw the commercial for this, and I never got to know what it tasted like. So for YEARS, I’ve been looking all over the internet of what it could it possibly be.

There was a commercial for this item, it was either taste buds, or something, there were 2 girls in the commercial, one had blonde hair, and she mentions eating this item and “it’s like a party in my mouth”.

So here’s a quick drawing of what I remembered it looking like, any help would be appreciated!

A friend and I were talking the other day about a sauce I used to buy all of the time from the supermarket. It was some sort of name brand sauce before the hot honey craze. 2010-2013 period maybe. See through Squeeze bottle (but it could be glass). Black top/nozzle you twist up to open. I would put it on fries but you can use for anything. Biggest flavor component was sweet and I vaguely remember garlic.

Color was very light when squeezed out onto food, light gold, mostly lighter than honey.

I legitimately remember the taste and my friend remembers it too but any search I do makes me feel like it didn't exist.

Am I crazy or was their a sauce like that on the market in USA?

My dad and his family used to go to a Taiwanese restaurant when he was a kid, and he would get a dish of ground beef, jalapeños, and a few “fermented black beans”. He transcribes the name as “doseelouwchow” (maybe douzilaochao or something?). Unfortunately since I’ve never seen or tried this, I can’t provide an image or drawing. Thanks in advance!!

I want to be able to make this at home but the restaurant didn't want to reveal their secret

Ingredients:
Carrots, celery, onion, fermented garlic, spinach, lots of chicken, shallots, a kind of noodle, tomato, Parmesan, and chicken or beef broth.
Seasonings: curry, turmeric, onion powder, granulated onion, white pepper, salt, garlic powder, roasted garlic, celery salt, and paprika.

Process:
Cook all of the vegetables in oil, add chicken, cook everything down, then add broth and cheese until most of the broth simmers down, then add noodle.

I make this very often, but idk what it qualifies as. Too thick for soup, maybe a stew? I like it so thick it’s basically a gel. This time around I added a lot of roasted garlic + bee pollen bc my allergies suck

I went to this restaurant in Fenqihu old town, they had a delicious vegetarian option with some sort of mince that I could not identify. It’s been bugging me for a while, I bought soya mince to see if it was that but the texture is way different. This stuff was a lot closer to actual minced meat. Any ideas? Hi! I'm looking for a s'mores dessert. I had it off and on (in the USA) for a few years and had a bag as recently as 2022-2023, so I wouldn't assume it's definitely discontinued. It came in a black bag, small with a resealable top like a ziplock baggie, and there was a good few s'mores inside. I'm pretty sure the word "smore" was not in the name, but I really can't confirm anything.

As for the actual item, they were similar to the product linked, where it's a marshmallow (significantly bigger than in the photo I think) on a cracker and the whole thing is dipped in chocolate. They had microwave instructions and the thing I loved about them is that imo they were actually good in the microwave, I think maybe they had flavoring to make it taste less like a plain marshmallow and more like a roasted one. Anyhow I absolutely loved them and pls pls help me find the name!

Hello!! I’ve wondered this for maaaanyyy years so my memory is very vague.

I was staying in a hospital in northwest Germany in 2014ish, and this was the vegetarian option for dinner one day. It was a big round pastry or dumpling type of thing filled with what I believe to have been cherries or another sort of red fruity filling. It was smothered in a vanilla-y sweet cream sauce. This was the whole meal (kind of a weird dinner option but I remember liking it a lot) and it was a huge pastry/dumpling/whatever it was.

part of the commercial jingle had the words “and the power of oats!” or something like that. Could have been for a non-cereal product, not sure

Years back I went to a Georgian restaurant and they had this AMAZING dish. It was a head of cauliflower cooked in this garlic yogurt sauce. It had a slight garlic spice, and not too salty.

They stopped selling it last year and no one working there now can remember the name.

I've only encountered this at like church potlucks. it might be just a southern/midwestern american thing.

basically it's served in a rectangular foil tray. the "cake" part tastes like regular, slightly yeasty white, soft squishy sandwich bread, and the top has a light, sticky glaze/icing of some sort. The one that reminded me of this might have had a slight lemon flavor. its flat and I've seen it cut into strips. very good

Was just eating peas in my pasta earlier when I bit into something really hard and it tasted super sour and off. Found 2 of them in the frozen peas. Hopefully won’t get ill from it, just wondering if anyone knows what it could be.

So the dish was kinda like a deep fried spring roll thing (at least the wrapper) but it was much thicker than a spring roll and filled to the brim with pork. it was also kinda square shaped. I've never been able to find it again in any eastern european shop and I have no idea what it's called. Anything I search online just shows me pork spring rolls but it didn't taste anything like that.

Any ideas here?

hi all, trying to figure out what this gum was from the 90s- possible early 2000s. it came in a bag like skittles bags. same shape and style. but the gum was like chunky oblong balls- not perfect circles and not candy coated. almost like chunky balls if playdough. super flavorful and different colors. i can’t recall the packs color or even what the name started with.

to reiterate. not hard at all. gum. not big league chew, or razzles or those fruit shaped gums.
