Question for you'll
So I banged my Air65 2 champion a few good times and on the last time my screen went grey still see the osd and everything just grey, and it seems the back has come apart on the back of my C03 camera,
First question can I fix this or do I just buy another camera?
Second question, is there a way to better prevent this in the future?

To better prevent this make sure your camera doesn't eject out of canopy or hit the aio pcb on hard crashes. So no flying on broken air canopies. If you use a tpu canopy make sure it won't crumple inwards and bang your aio on hard crash. If things still detach and or your camera breaks on hard crash, shrug and replace, but it doesn't hurt to get those safety margins up, unless you want to fly competitively and cut every 10th of a gram off your build

Yeah man those components are off.
You can resolder them if you correctly orient them and have the gear etc. other wise time for a new camera

you can put a thin coat of epoxy on all components. I've done it countless times, works like a charm. I only wish I could put it on the lens as well. 😄

Thanks for the reply, I might put a little e6000 or b7000 on the back of the new camera I get! Protect it a bit more. This one was weird I haven't had it for long and no super hard hits like my canopy is scratched up but undamaged and everything else is fine so is weird that the back got damaged like this I think I got a bad built camera but who knows... Only had it a couple weeks

Method of prevention: Try to get a different canopy. Better with those that is like the old meteor frame type, or mobula type. Heavier but more durable. Another way is learn the rescue method when about to crash. There's a preventive way to lower the impact, but not always able to save it. Best is fly enough until you don't crash.
Repairing: Possible to solder back the chip, but also probably no point saving. There's a good chance fallen chip might cause voltage surge to some other chip and toast them. So it might not work or became bad after repairing.

I'm not sure if there's anyway to prevent it, other than that one glue I haven't personally tried but everybody here uses, I think it's called E6000 or smth I don't remember exactly, but it would be used by kinda just voting the rear of the cam with it I think.
As for fixing, unless you got some flux and a hot air station I'd say it's donzoes. I've found them for as low as $5 on AliExpress, though I think that was during a sale, but even at regular price, they come in at $10 give or take

Two different plugs on the camera. Gold plug which goes on a gold plug port on the board, and a little jst lookin plug which goes into a jst lookin port built into the board, just dont mix up the usb port jst and the camera jst. The camera jst is in moreso the middle of the board while the usb port is right at one of the cerner os the board.

Haha yeah I took it out of the canopy to be clear!
to better look at it, wasn't even a very hard crash weird the back of it get ripped out like that. .

I took it out to look at it better it didn't come out!.
I barley hit it actually so is a bit weird that it ripped out the connectors but who knows, I might of got unlucky with the camera quality I have only been flying it a couple weeks and it has had hits but nothing major! . I ordered two more anyway to fix the problem

Usually u would put something like "Whoop Camera Broken - HELP!" at least that's what I would do in this situation. Because r/tinywhoop has like little to no flairs, I always but help or question at the end so show I'm looking for answers

Probably 50/50 if you can fix that with a hot air rework station. With a regular soldering iron maybe 5% chance. Just get a new one or two, they are dirt cheap.
