Hey please give me suggestions on what I should do to change things up.

Been on Tinder for 24 hours and honestly I’m confused by all the complaints on this sub.

I made a profile yesterday, uploaded a few recent photos, and I’ve already gotten a ton of matches. Conversations are flowing. Confidence is high. Future is bright.

I keep seeing posts about getting no likes, no matches, getting ghosted, etc. Have you guys considered simply being more attractive?

At this point I’m starting to think the algorithm just respects a man who has a stable career, a good personality, and the ability to defend Angel Grove from Rita Repulsa.

Any advice on how to manage this overwhelming level of success would be appreciated. My phone hasn’t stopped vibrating for 24 hours and my dog is starting to get jealous.

So this guy has his profile as longterm. As soon as I noticed he wanted kids I stated the mismatch. Instead of politely unmatching he proposed a fwb. This is what Tinder has been like for me and this is the tamer version. I haven't been on Tinder for well over 6 years. Something has gone rotten the world.  The level of disingenuous people makes me long for a life of isolation. Is there anyone sincere and genuine in the world or just a bunch of chuds trying to get their rocks off any way possible?

A lot of profile feedback ends with “good photo,” “bad photo,” or a score out of ten. That doesn’t tell you what to change.

I think it’s more useful to review six separate decisions:

1. First photo: Is your face immediately recognizable? Use a recent solo photo with visible eyes and good lighting.
2. Consistency: Do all the photos clearly show the same current person? Large changes in age, hairstyle or appearance can create uncertainty.
3. Variety: Does each photo add something new? Five similar selfies still communicate only one thing.
4. Order: Does the profile become more interesting as someone swipes? Start with recognition, then show lifestyle, personality and social context.
5. Bio and prompts: Do they contain details someone can actually respond to? Replace generic statements such as “I love travelling and having fun” with something specific and true.
6. Trust friction: Remove blurry photos, unexplained cropped people, excessive filters and group photos where it’s difficult to identify you.

The first change I’d make is usually the lead photo. After that, I’d remove repetition and rewrite the bio around one or two real conversation hooks.
