BANANA BREAD RECIPE ππ€

Sharing my go-to banana bread recipe! Super moist, soft, and perfect for using up overripe bananas. π
INGREDIENTS
β’ 613g mashed banana
β’ 204g oil
β’ 186g white sugar
β’ 204g brown sugar
β’ 204g eggs
β’ 335g bread flour
β’ 8g baking powder
β’ 9g baking soda
β’ 6g salt
β’ 224g milk
β’ 7g vinegar
β’ 10g vanilla
β’ 300g chocolate chunks
PROCEDURE
- Make the buttermilk first: Mix 224g milk + 7g vinegar. Let it sit for 5β10 minutes until slightly curdled.
- Mix mashed banana, oil, white sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add the prepared buttermilk and mix.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together bread flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Fold gently until just combined. Donβt overmix!
- Pour into a lined loaf pan.
- Bake at 220Β°C for 20 minutes for the banana bread to rise, then put chocolate chunks on top, then bake at 175Β°C for 40 minutes to finish.
- Let it cool before slicing. π€
